Bada woke up to find herself in an unfamiliar room. After her disorientation faded, she remembered the events of the previous night and that she was at a hotel.

She quickly got out of bed and made her way to the bathroom, wanting to freshen up and get out of the place as soon as possible.

After taking a warm shower, Bada walked out of the room with her backpack on her shoulder, determined to get home before noon.

She walked through the corridors, making sure she stuck to the path she had taken the previous night. As she was about to take a turn, she heard a voice behind her.

"Excuse me!" Bada turned around and found herself facing a guy, who looked to be around her age. He looked fit and was almost the same height as her. He was wearing what looked like something out of an 80s movie. She looked at the guy, waiting for him to explain why he had stopped her.

"Are you new here? I haven't seen you before" he asked, staring at the girl intently.

"I arrived yesterday night, and I'm leaving. Is that all?" Bada inquired, tapping her foot impatiently.

"Leaving?" The boy laughed, making her furrow her eyebrows. She couldn't understand what the boy could possibly find funny about the situation. The boy recovered from his laughter after a few seconds and his face turned serious.

"Listen very carefully to what I'm about to say. Once you enter this hotel, you cannot leave. I don't know why, but no one has ever been able to find the reception after the first night here. Hell, I've been stuck in here for the past thirty years. You might think you'll be able to leave right now, but I'm afraid you're mistaken" he said, locking eyes with the girl, who looked at him incredulously.

"And you expect me to believe that? You're telling me you've been here thirty years when you don't even look twenty years old?"

"People stop ageing once they enter the midnight hotel. It's like time has stopped for this, one building" the boy replied, still keeping his piercing gaze on Bada.

"Okay dude, your story keeps getting creepier and creepier so I'm just going to go." She said, turning around and speed-walking down the hallway while the boy just sighed.

"I tried" he muttered, before turning around and walking back towards his room, where his friends were waiting for him.

Bada walked through the corridors, unable to find the reception. It was almost as if the reception area had disappeared.

She turned another corner and found herself in the same corridor for the fourth time. She was tired of roaming around the same five or six corridors again and again. She decided to go to her room and call the reception, asking for someone to escort her to the reception.

After dialling the number to the reception, Bada waited for someone to pick up the phone. She frowned when no one picked up and tried again, only to receive the same response.

"What kind of hotel reception doesn't receive a call by one of the guests?" She huffed, annoyed at her predicament.

She unlocked her phone and smiled at the picture which was set as the home screen.

"I miss you, Eunwoo" She whispered, feeling all the memories flood back as a tear rolled down her cheek.

He had always been there for her, the perfect boyfriend, until he had disappeared along with his friend Bin one day, a few months ago. The police had tried looking for them in the initial few months, but had given up eventually.

Bada missed the two of them dearly. She loved Eunwoo dearly and cared for Bin as well, who was like a brother to her.

Before she knew it, she was crying. She was frustrated, not only because of the disappearance of the two boys, but also because of the situation she was stuck in. She wanted nothing more than to just go home and hug the life out of her annoying but sweet brother. She just wanted her two best friends to return from wherever they had disappeared to.

"Where are you?" She whispered looking at the picture of the two smiling boys.
