This is just a typical scenario between family who is still stuck in their culture of arranged marriages and such.

Also, I am not patronizing sneaking out and being on the road at the wee hours of the night.

It just so happened that most of the introspection occurs when one is not busy with everything and usually at night before one goes to sleep.

And, Ivan was there to help her sort out her feelings. 😊

Besides, they became official when they graduated from college. So, it's still safe to say that both Sheena and Ivan prioritized their studies before they even became a couple.
