A/n: What if Elwing was given a human body and was allowed to visit someone in Valinor.

Elrond looked up from a book as a servent walked in. "Lord Elrond, you have a visitor." They said hesitantly.

"I do? Celebrian? Are you expecting anyone?" Elrond asked.

"No," she replied looking up.

"Alright...send them in I guess," Elrond said sitting up. They nodded and left the room. Elrond waited there but when he saw who stepped into the room his body went ridged.

"Elrond." Elwing said in a light gasp walking over. Elrond stood up and asked, "What...what are you doing great here?"

"I asked the Valar for a chance to see my son," She said as she put a hand to his face. "And look how you have grown."

"I have." He replied slightly tense as he moved her hand gently. "Yet, why are you here...now after all these years?"

"I'm sorry it took so long but I thought those monsters had killed you," She said.

"You mean my father and uncle? The ones who raised me and took care of me and Elros?" Asked Elrond with bitterness to his voice. He then shook his head and said calmly but his voice tense with emotion, "I am sorry...but you should leave."

"What? I'm your mother," she said. "I wanted to see you."

"Now? After all these years?" He asked. "What about when my brother died? When I had no one since my king and closest companion Gil-galad was killed? Where where you then? You were not there but someone else was. My father who raised me even though he was barley managing himself. He came out of own bitterness go help me."

"Elros is dead?" She asked her eyes going wide slightly.

"Yes. He chose the life of a mortal and raised a very great kingdom. Had a very strong and amazing family." He said.

"Elrond...I'm sorry but-" she began but Celebrian but in and said, "Perhaps you should leave. Clearly nothing is going to come from this."

"Elrond. Your father and I thought you had died," she said.

"Did you bother to look? No, but my wife is right. Please, leave before somethings are said which shouldn't be." He said.

"Please, give me a chance." She said reaching out but Elrond stepped back and shook his head.

"I'm sorry but no." Elrond said. "How can I give you a chance? You already insulted the people who raised me and helped me become who I am today. You would rather die then give up a jewel that wasn't even yours. In all truth it did belong to them, since there father had made it for his family. Then as I said before you didn't even bother to come and look for us. So, I am sorry but just leave. I have my family and you have your husband to get back to."

"How can you love those murders?" Elwing snapped.

"Since they took pity on my brother and I who where homeless and orphans. Yes, they did wrongs but to truly judge someone you have to also know what's inside someone. Judge them by their heart and not only their actions. You have no idea what they went through, I do, I saw their pain and who they truly were. You have no right to call them monsters. I was told that Uncle Neylo...Maedhros spent days searching for your brothers to help them. He searched past the point which his body would allow. So. Do not speak of them when you do not know them," Elrond said.

Elwing looked at him and closed her mouth. Celebrian stood up and walked over. "My husband has said his bit and I shall say mine as a mother. The only reason I had to leave my children was because I knew I couldn't take care of them but Eru knows I tried. I sent letters through Lord Manwe's Eagles whenever I could to hear from them. I also know that I was leaving them with their father would  continue to take care of them. You did nothing to try until now. Also, you will not insult my father in law, who traveled to Valinor with me to help take care of me. He helped me through a lot of great pain. You have a place but it's not here. So, leave." She said bringing out the deadliest glare she got from her mother.

Elwing gave a look to Elrond and said, "I am sorry."

"I am sorry too," he replied as she turned and left the room. Elrond only sat down after the door was closed. Celebrian walked over and sat down and gave him a gentle look.

"I'm fine...I do have my family." Elrond said grasping her hand and kissing her cheek.
