Ilweruine - Silmarillion One Shot
Celegorm jumped back as an orc moved in for an attack, he and Curufin were out riding when they were abruptly attacked by a band of orcs. Celegorm slashed the orc in front of him and turned just as an orc notched an arrow. Yet, the orc froze and fell just as a spear was embedded in it and then withdrew. Celegorm looked started and confused as he saw the man who helped it. It was not Curufin, rather someone else with electric blue eyes with white highlights here and there. Their hair was tied back messily and it looked like he hadn't bothered to brush it in who knows how long. His eyes were bright yellow.
He swung the spear around and then balanced it on his shoulder. He sighed as he looked around, "Well I thought this would be fun." He said out loud to himself.
"Wait. What?" Celegorm asked.
He looked up and just waved his hand around as he sighed looking around at the orcs. "This is annoying," He said sounding board. "They do not even possess a brain to offer a challenge."
Celegorm killed another orc before looking back at the man as he sighed looked rather board as he just moved his spear a bit to block an attack of an orc. "...and if I do that I'll have to deal with Nolwë's lecture..." He mumbled to himself. "Eh. I never listen to them anyway."
He smirked a bit as he lashed his spear in an upward arc knocking two orcs back. He swung it around in the air with a hand and then smashed it on the ground. A loud crack broke the battle silencing the noise of fighting. Jagged electric blue lines shot out darting around Celegorm and Curufin but cutting through every orc there was. Within a few seconds, all the orcs fell to the ground defeated. The blue-haired man straightened up and slid his spear to his back. "I was wrong. That was rather amusing."
"You... you're an Ainur!" Celegorm said.
"Huh?" He asked looking up. He then shrugged and answered, "Oh. Right. Yeah, I am."
Curufin clenched his hand tightly around his sword as he asked, "Why are you helping us now?"
He sighed and said, "Look. I am not part of Manwë and his band of merry Ainur so don't treat me like those statues."
"Statues?" Celegorm asked.
"Well since only half of them do anything...well when times demand it. They normally just do nothing so statues." He said moving his hands as he spoke. Celegorm and Curufin stared at him rather surprised by his answers. He just yawned a bit and stretched as he started walking.
"Where are you going?" Celegorm called.
"To meet up with Ahtaron and Varnaië. They should be at your home by now talking with your brothers." He replied. "Now you two coming?"
The twins exchanged a glance but ended up following him. They walked by him and Celegorm looked at him and asked, "So. What's your name?"
"Call me whatever you want, I do not really care." He replied with a shrug. "Yet, if you want to be all formal. My name is Ilweruine,"
"You are not like the other Valar," Curufin said.
"Why would I want to be like **** stinks in the mud?" He asked with a shrug. Celegorm covered his mouth to a hid a snort. Curufin just looked a bit suprised that an Ainur would curse but he ended up smirking. This Ainur was insane, wasn't he?
