"Next is our stop.", Said Sidharth to Sana. She didn't respond to him but just looked out of the window.

Sidharth had been trying to pacify her eversince they had boarded their train but she was extremely irked. Adding fuel to her annoyance was the girl sitting opposite to them who had started conversation with Sidharth.

Introducing herself as Divya, she told him where she stays, where she studied, where she works, her favourite colour, favourite food and many more things including her friend's biodata as well. She shared her food with him, read as literally forced him to eat by constant nagging whilst ignoring Sana after asking just once.

Sidharth initially spoke with Divya with an intention of making his dear wife feel possessive and get her attention but soon he learnt that it wasn't doing any good. Though, he spoke with a short reply post that, Divya didn't stop bugging him.

Sidharth went behind Sana, when she went to restroom, to calm her anger but she ignored him.

"Sidharth, could you please help me get my luggage down?", Divya requested making Sidharth's mouth fall open in shock.

"You too are getting down at the next stop?", He asked.

"Yeah.. you too means you?", Divya asked.

"Yes, we are getting down next as well." He said.

"Oh!! That's great!", Divya exclaimed in excitement.

Sidharth got up and helped pull her luggage down. He then picked up his luggage and placed it down but before he pulled Sana's luggage, she stood up and snatched it from his hand and placed it down herself. Sidharth made a puppy face which got royally ignored by Sana once again.

Sana walked ahead with her luggage but overheard Divya speaking to Sidharth.

"Thanks Sidharth. You're such a jovial person (he smiled on compliment with a nod) but your friend looks dead opposite. Is she having a bad day or is she born grumpy?", Laughed Divya.

"Huh? No.. Sana.. wait", He looked at Sana who gave him a sharp glare before walking towards the exit with the luggage.

"Divya, she is the most wonderful person I've ever met and have in my life.", Replied Sidharth and ran behind Sana. Divya smirked and shrugged off his reply before walking behind him. Following Sana's lead, the three alight at the station.

"Okay Divya, all the best. Bye.", Sidharth said to get rid of her so that he gets to mollify the anger of his possessive wife before reaching home. He ran off even before Divya could reply. Sana was sitting at the bench at the station.

"Let's go home darling..", he said but she did budge from her place nor replied

"Sweetheart.. it's been 8 hours since I heard you speak last. Why are you sulking over me addressing you as my friend? That too to some stranger whose existence doesn't even hold any importance in our lives.", He said.

"She doesn't hold any importance yet you hid the fact that I am your wife and this will continue in the engagement ceremony as well infront of people who hold importance in your life. I shouldn't have agreed to come with you Sidharth. It hurts to be treated as outsider when I am your wife.", Said Sana.

"Sana, why does it matter what people think of our relationship when we know the truth. I love you my jaan and nothing can change that. Try to understand Sana, I will let my parents know about us after the engagement. Don't punish me like this. Please.", He said looking at her with pleading eyes.

"You know right that she was letching over you?", She asked in a choking tone and tear filled eyes.

"I don't know neither am I interested in knowing. I am taken and I love my possessive wife.", He said holding her hand in both his hands.

"Yet you were talking to her. She literally told you everything except the colour of her underwear she was wearing which I am sure she would have told you in a few minutes if we stayed.", She complained like a little kid with a pouty face making him laugh loudly.

"I didn't pay attention to any of her words because I have no interest in her. But since you brought this topic, I am interested to know what colour my wife is wearing at present.", He teased her making her lips curve in a slight smile.

"Huh! I don't know.", She said trying to throw attitude but the blush was still evident on her face.

"Why? Aren't you wearing one?", He asked.

"Huh? Tsshh.. Pervert!!", She blushed nudging her elbow into his arm and looking around.

"Only for you baby. But you still didn't answer my question.", He said flirting.

"Sidhaaarth..", she whined feeling extremely shy.

"What?", He asked staring at her making her feel shy even more.

"Let's go home. Aren't we getting late?", She said, her cheeks now red as tomatoes.

"Arggghh.. I want to kiss you but I love my father in law as well. So I can't break my promise to him.", He said with a sad pout. She chuckled making him happy to see her brightened up face.

He kissed his two fingers and she kissed her two fingers and they inturn touched their fingers with each other as if kissing and smiled looking at each other.

They boarded the rickshaw to his parents house.

"5 more minutes and will be home", he said. She smiled nervously worrying about meeting his parents for the first time though as friends but they would ultimately know that she is their daughter-in-law so she wanted to create a perfect first impression on them.

He held her hand which was now cold and pressed it firmly.

"Am I looking okay?", She asked him.

"You look perfect. Don't worry, everything will be alright.", He said with a smile and she nods to him. Their eyes interlocking for few moments until the rickshaw jerks due to sudden brake. He quickly releases his grip on her hand and gets down from the auto.

"Sidharth..", his mother, Rekha exclaimed in excitement, who was standing at the door.

"Maa..", he sighed walking towards her and hugging her after paying the fare.

"How are you, my child?", She asked.

"I am fine, Maa. How are you?", He asked.

"I am good. Come, let's go inside." She said putting her hand around his waist and yanking along.

"Maa.. wait.. Sana? Come.", He said looking back at her. Sana nodded her head and went to touch his mother's feet to take blessing. His mother was shocked and she stared at him and raised her eyebrows in question.

"Aaa.. Maa.. she is Sana, my friend. I invited her for Naina's engagement. She had been always brought up in the city and wanted to see our village.", He introduced in fumbling voice.

"Oh.. come in..", Rekha smiled at Sana.

Sana nodded her head and followed Rekha. Both Sidharth and Sana stole glances of each other and smile.

"Oh!! You are here!", Said his father, Amar as soon as he caught glance of Sidharth. Amar was taken aback to find an unknown girl touch his feet unannounced.

"She is Sana, Sidharth's friend from city. She has come here to attend the engagement.", Said Rekha.

"Oh!! God bless you.", Said Amar. Rekha and Amar exchanged a sceptical glance still unconvinced of the reason for Sana's visit. Sana glued her eyes to the floor like a guilty burglar.

"Where is Naina?", Asked Sidharth to avoid any further awkwardness or doubts.

"In her room.", Answered Rekha.

"Hmm.. Sana come I'll introduce you to Naina. You can stay with her in her room.", Said Sidharth.

"Aa.. Sidharth, she can't stay with her. There is already another guest staying with her.", Said his mother.

"What? Who?", Asked Sidharth.

"Naina's would be husband's sister. She just arrived few minutes back.", Said his mother.

"Oh, but why? What about her family?", Asked Sidharth.

"She works and stays in city. Her family will arrive tomorrow directly to the venue. So she came here directly to save time and unnecessary travelling.", Explained Rekha.

"But.. what about Sana?", He asked.

"Don't worry. Let her stay in our room with your mother and you and I, can both adjust here in the hall.", Said his father.

"Hmmm.. okay.", Nods Sidharth.

Rekha escorts Sana to her room.

"I am sorry aunty, I should have asked before coming. Because of me, uncle has to stay outside. I can adjust in the hall as well.", Said Sana feeling mortified.

"Please don't worry. You are our guest. It's not that we have to go on permanently with this adjustment, right? One day won't make a big difference to your uncle. Moreover, how can you sleep outside as Sidharth would have to sleep outside?", Said Rekha and Sana nodded her head.

"Sidharth, that girl is just your friend, right?", Asked his father.

"Aa.. why are you asking like that babuji?", Asked Sidharth.

"Because you never got any girl home like this before. Also, how can her parents feel comfortable and allow her to travel with a boy alone?", Asked his father.

"Aa... aaa.. Babuji, it's common for a girl and boy to be friend in city.", Stumbled Sidharth.

"Yeah, city residents are so progressive that they don't even fear for their daughter's safety as well.", Said Amar.

"Babuji.. her parents trust me like their son. I suppose you trust me and your upbringing as well and that I wouldn't do anything wrong.", Said Sidharth.

"Huh? (Stunned) Hmmm.. Yes, yes. Just make sure you look after her safely until you drop her back to her parent's house. It's a huge responsibility..", said Amar.

"I will take care of her Babuji.", Smiled Sidharth.

"Hmm.. Sidharth, sure she is just a friend?", Asked his father yet again.

"I am going to see Naina.", Sidharth said to avoid lying.

"Knock the door because remember there is a guest.", Said his father.

"Yes babuji, i will.", Nods Sidharth.

"Nainaa..", Sidharth knocks on the door.

"Bhaiyya..", Naina screams in excitement and hugs him.

"Do you want to strangulate me?", Teased Sidharth in chocked voice.

"Huh? So mean. You never cease to tease me.", Naina frowned.

"Huh!! I haven't even started and you are already annoyed. Come out now, I want you to meet someone.", Said Sidharth.

"Who?", She asked.

"Vicky Kaushal. He was heart broken that you are getting married to someone else so he requested me to take him with me to convince you to marry him.", Said Sidharth.

"Huh!! He is already married to Katrina Kaif.", She said with an annoyed face.

"Oh!! Too bad!! Not Vicky Kaushal but your would be husband. Looks like he doesn't have an escape from you.", Teased Sidharth.

"Bhaiyya.. I hate you for this..", whined Naina.

"Yeah, I know. Now that you have got someone else to shower all your love.", Smirked Sidharth.

"Bhaiyyaa... (whines with a blush) I am not coming with you. I am sure you are just pulling my leg.", She frowned.

"I have given up pulling your leg long back. Looks like there is no way to make my dwarf sister, tall.", He said.

"Arggghhh.. I am not a dwarf.. but you are a Godzilla.", Yelled Naina.

"And you are a lizard. Godzilla's sister..", he showed his tongue to tease her.

Naina starts throwing tantrum by fake crying.

"Tssshhh, I heard your would be sister in law is in the room with you. Don't show your true colours to her else we will have to tolerate you in this house for a lifetime.", Sidharth pulled her out of her room and dragged to the other room.

"Rrrrrrr.. she is listening to music on her headphone.. Maaaa.. look at bhaiyya. He is teasing me to no end.", Complained Naina.

"You both started your mischievous acts already? At least, be considerate of the guests in the house. Talk to her, I have some work.", Said Rekha pointing at Sana and goes out.

"Ohhh!! I.. I didn't notice.. I am sorry.", Said Naina feeling embarrassed looking at Sana sitting on the bed.

"She isn't a guest. She is my best friend.", Said Sidharth plopping on the bed beside Sana having found that his mother was now out of sight.

"Huh?", Naina widens her eyes in shock to find her brother so comfortable around a girl while Sana puts her head down feeling shy.

"She is Sana and Sana, that's lizard.. I mean my sister, Naina.", Said Sidharth. Naina glared at Sidharth with a pouty face before changing her expression to smile at Sana.

"Hi Naina.", Said Sana

"Hi Sana..", wished Naina.

"Sana? Where are your manners? She is elder to you.", He asked.

"Huh? I am sorry. Can I call you Sana Di?", Naina muttered feeling guilty. Sana nodded no but before she spoke, Sidharth interrupted.

"No.. you can't.. she hates being called Di..", said Sidharth placing his arm around Sana's shoulder. Sana gasped on his action with fear of being caught.

"Isn't it Sana?", He asked staring into her eyes.

"No, I don't. Stop troubling her Sidharth. (Whispered) take your hands off..", Sana glared at him.

"Then how about Bhaabhi?", Asked Naina in a teasing tone.

"Huh? Wha.. wha.. what?", Fumbled Sana.

"I don't mind..", said Sidharth.

"Are you mad? Do you realise what you are saying? You are letting out our secret.", Mumbled Sana under her breath to be heard only by him.

"Weren't you the one who didn't wanted to be called just friend? She is my only secret keeper since childhood.",said Sidharth.

"Really Bhaiyya? Is she going to be my bhaabhi?", Naina squeaked excitedly while sitting beside Sana, who was now sitting between the sibling.

"Sshhh.. don't scream. If maa baabuji hears, then it will be an end of the world for us.", He whispered

"Awww.. bhaiyya. She is so awe-dorable!! I love her already.", Naina muttered

"Susshh!! She is all mine and only mine.. I am the only one who can love her.. go give your love to your fiance..", he said grabbing Sana's hand into his and pushing away Naina's hand.

"Aww.. my dear bhaiyya is whipped totally..", giggles Naina.

Sana chuckles happily with a blush.
