"Bye Maa, Bye Papa.. See you there..", Sana hugs her parents and bids them good bye to leave to Sidharth's native once again to attend her sister in laws marriage.
Her parents wave at her as Sidharth and Sana both sat in an auto rickshaw. He pulled her by her waist closer to him this time without any delay. He had no compulsion to keep promise to her father this time. Sana blushed and rested her head onto his shoulder while he leaned his head over hers after quickly pecking over it.
"Sidhaaarth..", Sana called him sweetly.
"Hmmm", he hummed with a soft smile because his name sounded so good from her lips which he had missed so much over those months when she was ignoring him. He pulled her closer if that was even possible since there was hardly any space between them. His eyes closed and face snuggled into her head finding his solace. When a slight groan escaped his mouth, she pushed her elbow into his torso. He looked at her questioning her action to which she pointed her eyeballs at the auto driver.
"Hmm.. last time you were frowning at me for not doing this..", he reminds her
"Tssshhh.. he can hear us.", she shushed and rolled her eyes.
"He isn't my uncle. What difference would it make when he doesn't even know us..", he muttered and winked making her shake her head in disbelief. He once again pulled her closer to himself and she let it be.
"Sidhaaarth..", she called again.
"Tsshhhh.. let me enjoy every moment with you. We won't get this moment in front of my parents when we go home.", He mumbled.
"I am not stopping you. Just listen to me..", she said.
"Hmmm.. what is it?", He asked.
"How are you going to break the news of our marriage to your parents?", She asked. His eyes opened as he silently stared at some random spot in the rickshaw lost in his thought.
"Sidhaaarth?", She called him to bring back from his thoughts.
"What?", He asked a little annoyed.
"What's what? I asked you something..", she slapped on his chest, a little annoyed herself.
"Just forget it Sana. Will deal with it when we go there. Until then just forget about everything and be with me entirely.", He said.
She nodded her head into his chest and hugged him by his torso and nuzzled her nose into it making him groan a little.
"Sanaaaa..", he called her.
"What?", She asked.
"He is watching us through the mirror.", Sidharth muttered softly.
"So? He isn't your uncle, remember?", She asked.
"Hmm.. yeah! But the way he is glaring at us right now, it looks like he is your uncle.", Sidharth teased.
"Hmmm..?", Sana looked at the driver who diverted his eyes from them.
"Hey Uncle! Keep your eyes on the road else you might get us into accident..", Sana said to the driver shocking Sidharth with her sassy attitude which he absolutely loved a lot.
"Did I say something wrong?", She asked looking at her shocked husband.
"No.. no.. not at all.. I love it.", He replied which made her giggle.
They boarded the train. Unlike last time, the train was full due to school holidays but they still managed to get a seat together.
The berth they were in, had a little 5 year old boy as well. Sana and kids always got well together. Her charm attracted kids like flower would attract bees. After a few moment of Sana making funny faces at him, the little boy was already talking with her and became quick friends. On the other hand, Sidharth frowned for not getting time with his wife.
"Uncle Uncle, can you exchange your seat with mine?", The little boy asked Sidharth.
"Why?", Sidharth asked.
"I want to play with Didi (Sister)", the boy said pointing at Sana.
"I am sorry, I cannot.", Sidharth denied upfront.
"Bad Uncle!!", The little boy frowned and went back to his seat.
"Sidhaaarth..", Sana whined.
"What?", He asked. She made a puppy face.
"No.. I won't.", Sidharth said grumpily crossing his hands over his chest.
"Why?", She asked.
"I have many reasons for your - Why..", he said
"Really? What are they?", She asked.
"First, I want to sit with my wife. Second, he has stolen my wife's attention fully. Third, he called me Bad. Fourth, my wife is ignoring me and taking his side. And the last but the most important reason, he is calling my wife, Didi while he addressed me as Uncle.", Sidharth complained.
Sana controlled her giggles.
"You know what? I am in a great dilemma now. I can't decide who is the baby over here? Him, who just went and quietly sat with his parents or you, who are complaining about him and whining.", She now giggled.
"I am not a baby..", he said.
"You are.. ", she pressed.
"No, I am not but if you need I can give you one soon.", He smirked which caused her cheeks to go scarlet. She pressed her lips thin and lowered her head trying to avoid other passengers eyes.
The heat of his body which radiated from her right went missing as he got up from his seat. She looked up and found him walking towards a young lady standing in the aisle. He gestured to the lady to sit in his seat to which the lady smiled and nodded instantly to accept.
Sana was stunned and an instant frown took over her face. He was too far for her to question his actions.
Wasn't he flirting with me just a few seconds ago? Wasn't he denying that little kid the seat because he wanted to sit with his beloved wife? Why did he give her the seat? Is he trying to make me jealous the way he did last time when he acted friendly with Divya to get my reaction?
While Sana questioned in her thoughts the lady sat beside her and smiled at Sidharth.
"Thank you", the lady said to Sidharth and Sidharth returned her the smile. Soon his smile fainted when he saw his wife glaring at him.
The lady turned her face to look at Sana, who realised it hence averting her gaze to look outside the window.
"Hi..", the lady smiled.
"Hi..", Sana wished plainly.
"My name is Alisha. Are you related to him?", The lady enquired.
"Hmm", Sana hummed without giving any pleasant facial expression or making an eye contact.
"His girlfriend?", The lady asked.
"Wife.." Sana replied staring at her.
"I am sorry for the third wheeling. That bastard standing near your husband was misbehaving with me and touching me inappropriately which probably caught your husband's attention and hence he offered me the seat. I would be forever indebted to him.", Alisha said. Sana looked at Sidharth and he looked at her with pleading puppy eyes. Sana immediately touched her ear to beg apologies for misunderstanding his action. He nodded his head softly to say don't and smiled which brought a smile on her face as well.
Sana kept her gaze at her husband while Alisha kept conversing with her. After few minutes, the little kid on the opposite seat went to Alisha.
"Can we exchange our seats? She is my friend", The little boy asked very sweetly which Alisha couldn't deny.
The little boy now sat with Sana. Sana glanced at Sidharth and chuckled when he frowned at the little boy who kissed Sana's cheek happily and teased the bad uncle, Sidharth.
After a while of playing with the little boy, Sana was shocked to see her husband nowhere in the sight. The man, who was teasing Alisha earlier, was also missing which made her panic. Sana asked Alisha to look after the bags before she got up from her seat and ran towards the aisle trying to find Sidharth.
"Sidhaaarth.. Sidhaaarth", she called as she moved towards the toilets at the end of the boggie. She gasped when she was pulled by her wrist by Sidharth, who was standing near the exit door.
"Sidhaaarth.. what are you doing here? You know how scared I was?", She asked inspecting him.
"Scared because you thought that I left you and got down at any random stop?", He questioned in confusion.
"No.. I know you won't do such foolishness. It's just that pervert man teasing that girl was also missing. I feared that he might harm you because you saved that girl from him.", Sana said.
"Hmm.. that bastard got down at the last stop. I would have slapped him if that little kid wasn't present in our berth. I just came here to grab some fresh air, a few minutes back.", He said.
"Why didn't you tell me before coming here?", She asked with a pouty face.
"You seemed too busy with your new boy friend. How would have I informed you?", He asked.
"Can't believe that this big cuddly teddy of mine is jealous of that small cutie.", She spoke animatedly pinching his nose.
"Why wouldn't I? Because of him I could not even hold or get close to you and that little bugger is kissing you. Did you see his little smirk which he gave me when he kissed you?", Sidharth complained like a kid.
Sana rolled her eyes in disbelief and gave him two quick pecks on both his cheeks.
"There!! Happy?", She asked.
"What was that even? It was over even before I blink.", He whined.
"Sidhaaarth.. we are in a train.", She whined equally.
"So? There is no one watching us here. Else you wouldn't have even pecked me, right? Can you see someone from here?", He asked pointing around. Indeed there was no eyes to watch them.
"What if someone arrives?", She asked nervously.
"I have got my marriage certificate in my bag. I will stick it on their face.", Sidharth said.
"Why are you roaming with our marriage certificate?", She asked perplexed.
"Don't divert from the original topic.", Sidharth said.
She smooched him with all force which lasted for few seconds before looking around nervously which made him chuckle. Her face was red due to blushing.
"Come let's sit here together.", He said pointing at the place near the door.
"I am scared. It's dangerous.", She said
"I am here with you, Sana", He said looking into her eyes.
She nodded her head and they both sat at the entrance of the door. He held her close and secure by placing his arms around her shoulder.
