"Sidhaaarth..", Sana cried running to him through the corridor and hugged him with all the force.

"Sana, are you alright? What are you doing here?", Sidharth asked in shock.

"Can I ask you the same question? What are you doing here in the hospital?", Sana enquired.

Sidharth gulped looking at her face.

"Aa... Aaa... Adith wasn't feeling well, so I tagged along to the doctor.", Sidharth fumbled.

"Don't lie Sidharth. I will kill you. You came here to donate your kidney.", Sana yelled.

"H.. How did you know?", He asked. His eyes fell at Adith.

"Adith, you rascal! You promised.", Sidharth scolds Adith.

"No promise is greater than your life Sid..", Adith said.

"Stop scolding my brother. Why the hell are you selling your kidney?", Sana questioned.

"I had managed to save money for our home, Sana but I got a call from Maa. She told me that Naina's marriage is set to happen earlier than planned because Divya is pregnant. Vivek's parents want both their children to marry on the same day just as they got engaged on the same date.

As their son and Naina's brother, I have to arrange for her marriage expenses. But if I give the money to them, I will lose you for the promise I made to your father.

I am already suffering through a lot just because you are avoiding me for 2 months now. If I don't arrange for home, your father will get us divorced and marry you off to someone else. I love you way too much to lose you my love. Hence, I thought of arranging money by selling my kidney", He said cupping her face.

"Idiot! Do you think I will leave you if my father asked me to? That promise was made by you, not me. I will die before I divorce you and marry someone else.", Sana cried scolding him.

"Ssshhh.. Don't say that. I would lose you even that way Sana.", Sidharth said.

"I love you Sidharth. I love you entirely. You are mine and you can't decide on giving any part of you to anyone without my knowledge and permission. As much as I love you, I love your kidneys and none of it is leaving your body.", Sana said.

"I can survive with one kidney but I won't survive without you. I don't want to convince your father for more time because I can't wait anymore to be with you.", Sidharth said.

"There are other ways too idiot.", She yells.

"What ways Sana?", Asked Sidharth.

"I have some savings in bank which would cover half and remaining balance will sell this necklace and get the money.", Sana smiled.

"Necklace?", Sidharth looked at her stunned.

"Yes.. we can buy many such necklaces in future but we can't buy your lost kidney. So sell it, Sidharth.", Sana said.

"It won't help Sana..", Sidharth said putting his head down.

"It will, trust me..", Sana said.

"I trust you Sana.. but what I am going to tell you now will break your trust in me. That necklace is fake.", Sidharth said.

"No, it isn't..", Sana spoke confused.

"It is Sana. Naina lost your necklace on the day of engagement. To cover up, I asked the jeweller to make an imitation of it by looking at the engagement picture but trust me Sana after paying our rental deposit, the first thing I had on my list was to replace it with a real one without your knowledge.", Sidharth spoke in guilt.

Sana's face fell.

"I am sorry Sana. I let you down and I know I lost your respect with this act.", Sidharth said

"Sidharth, I am not sad because of your act. I trust you when you said you would buy me a new one. For that matter, it doesn't even matter because once I gave it to Naina, I made up my mind to not ask for it again. I was worried about arranging the money for rental deposits. Nevermind Sidharth. We'll try to convince my father to give us more time. I am sure he will understand.", Sana said.

"You both think that you two are going to deal with everything by yourselves? I am still alive, my children. Sidharth, I had said this to Sana earlier but she shushed me. I will give you the money I have saved all this years, which of course Naveen isn't aware of. If you feel that I am hurting your self-esteem by offering it, then think of it as a loan. Please take it and keep my child happy.", Said Shanti who had accompanied Sana to the hospital and was listening to their conversation all this while.

Sidharth looked at Sana for her opinion. She nodded her head with pleading eyes to accept the offer. She was dreading the circumstances if Adith hadn't informed her and she had not come in time to save him from selling his kidney.

"Okay Aunty.", Sidharth said bringing a smile on Sana's face.

"Ufff.. Thank God! Let's go from here before they forcefully catch hold of us and take out the kidney", Adith said making everyone laugh. Adith and Sana's mom walked ahead of Sidharth and Sana giving them some privacy.

"Let's pay the deposit amount today itself.", Sana suggests.

"You seem to be in a hurry to shift with me", Sidharth teased

"Yeah, very much. That's why I was ready to sell my kidney", Sana replies with sarcasm.

"What do I do Sana? I behaved like a dumbass at my hometown. I didn't do anything right during that time. When you said you hate me, it stung. It stung hard.", Sidharth was interrupted by her words.

"I love you..", she said. A little smile appeared on his face.

"I love you too. Would ever be able to forgive me?", he replied and asked.

"I am sorry Sidharth. I was too harsh on you.", She said with remorse.

"I deserved every bit of it Sana, for taking you and your love for granted."

"Amidst all this I am happy that you love me as much as I do. You, wanting to stay with me by hook or crook. You, putting up a fight against fate to make me part of your life and I don't want our middle class fate to win over our love. That's why I want to pay the rent deposit today.",she said.

He nodded his head to agree with her words. While he went on to call the landlord, Sana spoke to her mother about their decision to pay the deposit. Shanti instantly agreed knowing her daughter's concern and fear. They went to the nearest ATM Machine and withdrew the amount needed.

Sidharth and Sana bid bye to Shanti and Adith and sat in the auto. Sana moved closer to Sidharth to cover the little distance between them and leaned her head on his arm. They both looked into each other's eyes before he lifted his arm to welcome her to lean on his chest while he held his arm around her waist.

Soon they arrived at their destination. They climbed up 2 floors as he took her to the apartment he had seen for them. A man was waiting for them. He was dressed in a grey shirt and a black pant with a little document bag pressed under his arm. Sidharth smiled at him and the man returned one. The man then looked quizzically at Sana standing beside Sidharth trying dechiper who she was.

"She is Sana, my wife. Can I show her the house once please?", Sidharth introduced. A little blush appeared on her cheeks. It was the first time he was openly declaring their relationship.

"Oh.. Sure, Okay!", The man nodded his head and turned around to unlock the door of the house. His phone rang and he excused them by gesturing to have a look themselves while he attended the call.

Sana stood at the door and looked up saying a small prayer by keeping her hand on her heart. Sidharth, who had been constantly observing her, smiled. He held her hand in his before they both stepped inside the threshold.

"This must be kitchen.", Sana sighed looking across the first door.

"Hmmm.. where we will have our kitchen romances.", Sidharth said embracing her from behind.

"Tsshhh.. what if he (landlord) hears?", She blushed crimson and slowly pushed him away.

"If he hears, he will think how romantic I am and how unromantic you are.", Sidharth smirked.

"Huh!! Pervert fellow. For a change, by any chance, didn't you get any brilliant thoughts of cooking for your wife in this kitchen?", She asked.

"You will be surprised to know the answer. Yes, I did! But not without your support.", He grinned sheepishly

"What exactly would that be?", She asked.

"Cooking up babies!!", He winked.

"You still haven't got my father's permission.", She reminded with a smirk.

"What permission? His condition was to get a house, which we are getting today. After that we are free to do whatever we want and wherever we want.", He spoke in a husky voice sending shiver down her entire body.

"Come, I'll show you our room.", He said yanking her by her arm.

"Our room!", She smiles adoring the small empty room.

"Hmm.. Our", he hummed kissing her knuckles.

"Yes, yes.. fine.. the house is yours.. I am already at the apartment. Come quickly and sign the deal after giving the deposit amount.", They overhear the landlord speak on the phone.

Sana and Sidharth stared at each other in shock.

"Did he just promise this house to someone else?", Tears welled up in Sana's eyes.

"This isn't fair.. I.. I will ask him. Please don't cry Sana.", Sidharth comforted and consoled her.

The landlord entered through the main door. He narrowed his eyes looking at crying Sana.

"What's happening? Why is she crying?", The man enquired.

"We heard you speak to someone and promise to give them the house, Sir.", Sidharth said politely.

"Yes, I did. What's the issue?", The man inquired.

"Sir, you can't promise someone else the house.", Sidharth said.

"Why would you tell me what I should do and what I shouldn't?", Asked the now annoyed man.

"Because we are already here to pay the deposit money and sign the agreement. We need this house.", Sidharth said.

"Huh? Wait a second! I think you are mistaken. I promised the other person the house next door and not this one. The one beside is a two bedroom house which also belongs to me ", the landlord clarified. Sidharth and Sana sighed in relief after learning the new information.

"Is she okay with the house? I need to wrap up this before the other person arrives.", The landlord said.

"Yes, we are okay with everything." Sidharth and Sana said in unison.

"Do y'all have kids?", The man asked unzipping the document bag and giving Sidharth the agreement. Sana cheeks turned scarlet and she put her head down feeling shy.

"Not yet.", Answered Sidharth and ran through the rental document.

"Okay, I just asked because my next condition was I don't want the kids to write or scribble on the walls. Also they shouldn't scream and make noise disturbing the neighbours.", The owner explained.

"I understand but at the moment it won't be a problem", Sidharth said.

"Hmm.. looks like you married very recently.", Said the man.

"It's going to be six months in a few days now. All good, where do I sign?", Sidharth asked. The man pointed at the empty places and they both signed on to it. Sana handed over the money taking it out of her handbag. The man counted the cash while Sana and Sidharth smiled happily at each other.

"All good! You can collect the keys in a weeks time since the painting work is left in progress. When are y'all planning to shift?", The man enquired.

"It's my sister's wedding next week. Will shift a week later.", Sidharth said.

"Fine the rent will commence from the date you move in.", The man shook hands with Sidharth and the couple left happily.

The first thing they did was to go to Sana's house together to speak to Naveen.

"Uncle we've got the accommodation.", Sidharth informed Naveen.

"That's great!", Naveen exclaimed.

"I will take her after two weeks.", Sidharth said.

"Before that, are your parents aware?", Asked Naveen.

"Next week is my sister's wedding. I am formally inviting you and aunty to the wedding. I am planning to let them know as soon as I meet them.", Sidharth said.

"I value your effort but we are elders and your in laws. It would be highly appreciated if we are invited by your parents so as to avoid any awkward encounter.", Naveen suggests.

Sidharth looked at Sana.

"Uncle, I am leaving day after to my native. Will you give me permission to take Sana with me? I will inform them about us and get them to invite you to the wedding over the phone.", Sidharth proposes.

"Hmm.. fine Sidharth.", Naveen agreed after looking at her daughter's happy face.
