Flashback continues..

"What? For God's sake Sana, it's just a movie. Why are you overreacting?", Sidharth asked.

"Exactly Sidharth. It's just a movie and YOU are overreacting.", She said pointing her finger at him.

"Arggghhh.. Fine! Fine! I am not responsible for the consequences because you chose it. I will play it because I love you", He yelled.

"I don't want it now..", she frowned.

"What? Now what's the issue when I said I will play it?", He asked

"The issue is you.. why did you have to deny it when you are ultimately ready to play it now? You lied to me that you love me.", She cried.

"Rrrrr.. Sana.. Sana.. Sweetheart, listen to me. I was not denying because I don't love you. I was denying because it is an adult film. Every single CD here is full of adult content.", He seethed extremely irked by flashing the unlabelled CD. She put her head down feeling embarrassed and he inhaled a deep breath and exhaled to calm down.

"I love you sweetheart and I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable and awkward staying with me.", He explained calmly cupping her face into both his hands.

"Are you telling me the truth?", She asked like an innocent baby.

"Don't you trust me?", He asked.

"I do..", she muttered.

"Hmm.. I promise we'll watch these movies together when the right time arrives.", He teased wiping her tears.

"I am hungry.. I was stuck searching for files in the file room at the office today that I didn't get time to have lunch.", she said without reacting to his statement.

"Huh? Hmmm.. I will get you something to eat.", He said getting up from his place.

He went on to cook something for her but when he returned, he saw her curled up in his bed and already fast asleep. He shook his head with a smile and went to keep the food back not wanting to disturb her tired sleeping figure. He came back and lay on the other mattress opposite to her, gazing at her beautiful face.

'So much happened since morning today. It looks like a dream that I actually confessed my feelings towards her and now that I've got some additional time to spend with her in this room. I want to go to sleep looking at her calm and happy face every evening and I so want to wake up to this beautiful face every morning.'

His thoughts were disturbed by her painful groans. She was twisting and tossing in her slumber. Discomfort written all over her sleeping face. Creases of worry form on his forehead looking at her in that state.

"Sana? Sana? What happened dear? Are you feeling fine?", He asked touching her forehead and neck to check her temperature.

"Uummmm.. Maa.. my stomach hurts..", she mumbled with her eyes shut.

"Sana, this is me, Sidharth. You were hungry, few minutes back. Should I get you the food to eat?", He asked in concern.

"No..", she sat up straight and winced holding her stomach.

"Sidhaaarth? You?", She asked still tired and dazed . She looked around and remembered that she was at his house.

"Yes, Sana. Are you okay? Is your stomach hurting too much? You must be very hungry. Let's have food and you will be fine. Okay?", He asked.

"Ummm.. aaaa.. I.. I.. want to use the bathroom..", she stuttered apprehensively.

"Yes, it's right there.", He said pointing at the door. She nodded her head and looked down uncomfortably.

"What happened, Sana? Didn't just said that you want to go to the bathroom?", He asked.

She nods in agreement looking down in embarrassment.

"Then? Do you need help?", He asked.

"I.. I.. I think I got my.. periods.. I am sorry Sidharth.. I think, I have stained your bed.", She said feeling extremely mortified.

"Sweetheart, nothing to worry about. That's totally fine. Are you alright? Is that why your stomach is hurting?", He asked touching her tummy. She shut her eyes momentarily in comfort as his warm hand on her tummy felt soothing. She nodded her head in yes for his question.

"Hmmm.. Come, I will help you until the bathroom.", He said supporting her by holding her arm.

"Sidharth.. I don't have the.. the napkins with me.. it came too early than my normal cycle.. maybe because of today's stress and anxiety.", Said Sana while getting up. She glanced at the bed once she took few steps away from it. Biting her lips, she noticed that indeed her fear of staining his bed was true. He took notice of her anxiousness.

"That's fine Sana. Don't stress too much about it. I see my future with you and these things are going to be part of it as well.", He said in assurance. She looked into his assuring eyes, and nodded her head.

"You go clean yourself and I will go to the pharmacy and get you whatever is needed..", He said.

"How? Sidharth, the pharmacy won't be open and even if it is, it is dangerous to go out in this situation. I won't allow you to go out.", She hugged his elbow with fear written all over her face. He felt loved for the concern which she had for him.

"But Sana.. it is a necessity for you right now.", He said.

"Nothing's more important than you Sidharth.", She said emotionally still hugging his arm.

"Sana? Listen to me..", He cupped her face with both his hand.

"No.. No means no.. you aren't going out Sidharth.", She cried shaking her head in his hand.

"Okay.. Fine.. I won't.. I won't go out.. you go in now..", he said.

She looked at him in fear that he might go out while she goes inside the bathroom. He gently kissed her forehead but she couldn't take notice of his actions because of her fright.

"I promise, I won't go to the pharmacy.. now you go inside the bathroom first.", He said dropping her to the bathroom.

"Do you have any old spare clothes? For a quick hack. I can manage with that.", She said.

"Hmmm.. Okay, I will give you one..", he said.

She smiled and went in and locked the door.

After 10 minutes, he knocks on the bathroom door and she opens it slightly. He passes her some stuff and when she takes it in, she finds a pack of sanitary pad and his clothes.

"Sidhaaarth.. you promised me that you won't go out.", She scolds bursting in tears.

"I didn't sweetheart.. Stop crying..", he said.

"Then how did you get this?", She asked.

"Change yourself in the clothes I gave and come out quickly. I will tell you everything.", Said Sidharth.

She did as said and came out dressed in his clothes which were loose fit on her. The bedcover was already changed by him and a new cover was neatly spread over it.

"Why did you cahnge the bedsheet? I would have done it. Give me the bedsheet and I will wash it along with my clothes.", Sana said.

"You can do it later. First sit here and be warm and cozy. My mother gives my sister a heat pack whenever she has pain like this. I don't have a heat pack but I have put some hot water in this bottle. Keeping this on your tummy will soothe your pain.", Said Sidharth.

Sana nods her head and takes the bottle from his hand and narrows her eyebrows at him taking notice that it was a liquor bottle.

"It's not mine. I don't drink. It's Adith's and Shiv's. I swear.", Sidharth pinches over his Adam's apple to clear her doubts quickly even without her asking.

"You really have a great set of friends.", She says sarcastically.

"Hmm.. can't agree more..", he says.

Sana places the warm bottle on her tummy and sighs feeling it's soothing effect.

"Does it help?", He asked.

"Yeah.. it's soothing though not 100%. Thank you.", She said.

He smiles feeling content.

"Now tell me how did you get that packet of sanitary napkins?", Sana enquired strictly.

"What do you do when you don't have one and when you are at office?", He asked.

"I borrow it from my friend.", She answerd in confusion.

"Exactly, even I borrowed it..", said Sidharth

"What? Who did you borrow it from?", She asked surprised.

"From my neighbour. There are two girls in the opposite apartment. The people in our society dislike them for their way of dressing and living. I borrowed it from one of them.", Said Sidharth.

"Huh? If everyone dislikes them then why did you choose to ask them. Why not the other neighbours?", Asked Sana.

"The other set of people in the society are those who judge. If I ask them, they would judge me and also judge your character. But the people who are already judged by someone often don't judge others since they know how it is to be judged.", Said Sidharth.

"Wow!! I admire your thoughts.", She said in his praise.

He bowed down placing his palm over abs.

"So do you often talk to those girls?", Asked Sana and a smile crept on his handsome face.

"No, this is the first time I spoke to that girl.", Said Sidharth.

"Huh? Still she gave it to you?", Sana asked.

"Hmm.. actually I have often felt that girl staring and smiling at me hence I never approached her. Maybe she has a soft corner for me which did it's charm", Sidharth said.

"Huh? I know I should be thankful to her for helping me but my possessiveness is not letting me think straight. This gave her an opportunity to start the conversation.", Sana said.

Sidharth laughed uncontrollably making her frown.

"Is she beautiful?", Sana asked.

"What?", Sidharth looked at her controlling his laughter.

Sana made an angry pout and Sidharth shook his head in disbelief.

"I told her that my fiancee is in urgent need of sanitary napkins. Could you please help?", Sidharth said.

"Really?", Sana asked and Sidharth nodded in yes.

"Fiancee.. You know, she might still try..", said Sana.

"Hmm.. maybe you are right. Next time, instead of fiancee I will say my wife. She might not dare to try then.", Sidharth said scratching his stubble on the chin.

"Next time? No.. No next time.. You aren't talking to her again.", Sana smirked in annoyance making him shake his head in disbelief.

"You seemed to have heard only the word 'Next Time'. Didn't you hear the word 'My Wife'? Nevertheless, in any case, I love this possessiveness of yours for me. You come out bold when possessive and not that normal shy girl.", Sidharth said.

"I am possessive..", she moved her neck with a blushing smile. He chuckled at her cuteness.

"Do you want to eat rice and daal?", He asked.

She nodded her head in denial scrunching her face.

"Maggie?", He asked raising his eyebrow.

She nodded in yes with a sheepish grin immediately.

"Hmm.. I knew it. I'll get it in 2 minutes which is equivalent to 10 minutes. You know because technically that 2 minutes noodle never gets ready in 2 minutes.", he smiled making her giggle and nodded her head.

He came back with a steel bowl full of steaming Maggie noodles for her. She kept the now not so warm bottle aside and accepted the bowl happily like a little kid. Her eyes shined in happiness which brought a smile on his face.

"I do have another surprise for you.", He declared.

"What?", She asked curiously.

"Movie?", He said showing her a CD.

"No..", she screamed.

"Huh? Why?", He asked.

"We shouldn't..", she said making him facepalm.

"It's not that kind of movie. I borrowed it from that neighbourhood girl. It's your favourite, a horror movie.", Sidharth said.

"You borrowed it from her? That means you will talk to her again while returning?", Sana asked.

"Rrrrr.. You return it tomorrow. I won't talk, okay?", He said

"You can return it. I trust you.", She said with a pouty face making him shake his head in disbelief.

"Hmm.. shall we watch the movie now?", He asked.

"I'm in..", she nodded her head in excitement.

"First, I'll change the water in the bottle with some more warm water so that you can watch the movie comfortably.", Sidharth said making her go 'awwww' for the most caring and loving partner he was.

He passes her the bottle and grabs Adith's laptop. He turns it on and inserts the CD. She pats the space beside her indicating him to sit and he happily obliges. While she ate her noodles, he hesitantly tried placing his hand around her shoulder but when she startled, he pulled it back muttering a mortified sorry. She smiles and keeps the empty bowl to the side and places his hand over her shoulder, leaning her head on his chest watching the movie. He happily cuddled her close to him like a fluffy teddy bear. At the end of the movie, she was fast asleep snuggling cozily into his chest.

He delicately places her on the bed and covers her with a blanket before going into the bathroom and hand washing her clothes and the blood stained bedsheets before hanging it to dry.

He returns back after eating his dinner and lays on the other bed. Gazing at her beautiful face, sleep takes over him.
