The mid-autumn festival, one of the most important festivals in the year, will come soon in tomorrow., on 15th day of august lunar month. It's a special day for all children in my country- Vietnam, and it's an opportunity for adult to recall our sweet childhood with star lanterns, moon cakes, drums, Moon lady, and Cuoi uncle...

When I was a child, on mid-autumn day in every year, my parent taught me how to make a lantern with a beer can by myself. It's very easy to do it. We just have to slit sheet of beer can into strips. Then give beer can a slight press. When strips of can are folded, there is a lager empty space inside beer can. Finally, we put a candle in and burn it. So here we are... a can lantern. In my past time, we all children used to play with can lanterns because we have no money to buy star lanterns or many electric lanterns like children at present have...

however we were lack of life conditions, we really had a sweet time with our family and friends.

With the becoming of the night, all children in my village brought our lanterns to walk around village and even field in which there is no light and at that age, we all scared it.. but the time we all walked around the field and sang loudly the song of mid-autumn was most deeply impressed experience in me. The feeling of scare, interest, curiousness... all were mixed in me...
