I woke up early today and followed Eleanor to breakfast. Dr. Hatch had gotten us all tickets to Kings Island with Gold passes so we could ride everything early. I had a blast and we all rode all the rides together that we wanted to. I didn't ride Diamond Back because I don't like big drops. The Beast was my favorite and I rode it a bunch of times. We left around midday because it was getting crowded.

When we got back Dr. Hatch pulled me aside. "Can you do something for me?" He asked.

"Sure, anything." I replied.

"That's a big promise to make." He said. Then he led me down to a dark room where someone was sitting. A guard came in. "Don't help that man." Dr. Hatch ordered me. The guard shot the other man in the room's leg. I heard a snap in addition to the bang of the gun. I hesitated. My foot moved forwards on its own it seemed. Then Dr. Hatch put a hand on my shoulder to remind me. I stopped moving.

The man had collapsed on the floor thrashing and screaming in pain. Tears ran down his face. My heart tug to help him but I turned around instead.

"Good." Dr. Hatch said. "Very good." We left the room together, the man with the broken leg's screams still piercing my ears.

I went to my room put on music and opened a book trying to rid myself of that torturous cry. I hated to see people in pain, yet I couldn't help him...
