You were never the popular girl in high school, but you had enough friends to get around and at least have a little bit of fun every once in a while. You never tended to have crushes on guys, but this one was different in your eyes. His name? Michael. Typical captain on the football team even you knew it sounded cheesy. He has a girlfriend who is named Lisa. She was the lead cheerleader of the school. She is very popular but is also known for being quite the snobby one. You don't understand how she caught Michael's attention in the first place, him being the tough guy but sweet at the same time. He has a very sweet soul and a kind heart. Almost every girl had a crush on him. You heard a rumor that Lisa was cheating on Michael with another guy named Jack, but of course you stayed away from that kind of drama either way. However, when you woke up this morning it felt like today would be different in some way. You just thought it was going to be a surprise pop quiz or something of that nature.

As you walked into the school doors, you heard loud voices coming from around the hall. It sounded like arguing between a guy and his girl. You walked around the corner and seen a crowd of people crowded around Michael and Lisa. You then heard what the voices were saying.

"I knew it all along, but I just didn't want to believe it because I thought you were better than that!" Michael shouted.

"It's not what it looks like I swear!" Lisa says, nearly in tears.

"What excuse will you use now huh? Are you going to say he's your brother or something because I seen with my own eyes what is happening between you and that little boy who calls himself a jock," Michael growled. 

"Please Michael just let me explain!" Lisa cried.

"I don't want to hear anything from you especially after the things that you put me through. I knew I should've dated Y/N in the first place since she doesn't look for drama unlike a certain someone who drags me around everywhere," Michael calmed down.

Everybody stood around in shock as those words left his lips. You stood in your place and started to blush. He turned around walking past the crowd, realizing you were watching, he grabbed your hand and pulled you gently back around the hall. Lisa stood by herself with tears rolling down her cheeks. But nobody really paid that much attention to her anymore since she wasn't with Michael anymore. He was the main one who brought some attention to Lisa. But now you were the one who got all of the attention. But you never acted like a snob to anyone. Some people approved of your relationship with Michael because some say you are just like him. But honestly you could care less, you were never letting him go.
