You're standing at the checkout counter at Barnes and Noble buying a book for your friend Toni for her birthday. Michael stands next to you, looking around the store and at the others on the other side as you take your money out of your purse.

Suddenly, Michael grabs your arm. You finish handing the cashier the bills and then turn to look at him. He's staring across into the Claire's window display.

"I'll be right back," he says, patting your arm once, and then letting go to walk over into Claire's. You smile to yourself at his store choice and finish up the transaction.

You walk out of the bookstore and into Claire's to go find Michael. As you enter the store, you see him standing at the counter paying for something. He takes a small bag from the cashier and turns around. He sees you and grins.

"Hi!" he says cheerily.

You tilt your head at him slightly, wondering what he could have bought from here.

"What'd you get?" You ask him.

"Close your eyes." He says. You look down to the floor and shield your eyes with one hand. You hear the plastic of the bag crinkling as Michael removes whatever he bought.

After a brief moment, Michael says "Okay, look."

You put your hand down and look up. Michael is turned away from you, allowing you to see the small white satin bow now in his ponytail. After a second, he turns back to you and grins again.

"What do you think?" he asks you.

"That's actually really cute," you say, smiling. The bow looks adorable on him. He smiles. He takes your hand and you walk out of the store together.
