Okay, so we've seen stories which go like this:

Hi, my name is Annie Ruok, and I just broke up with my cheating ex Ronnie. I woke up and got out of bed. My boss called and said "Annie you need to come to work cos Michael Jackson has come" so I said "OMJ THE REAL MJ?" and he said "Yeh the real one".

So I got dressed and skipped breakfast and got to work. My boss was right cos Michael Jackson was there! He said "Hello gorgeous what's your name?" so I said "Annie Ruok" and he laughed and said "That's like Annie are you ok from Smooth Criminal" and we both laughed.

I mean it's only Michael Jackson he isn't the type of person who would make people faint and scream cos he's in the same room as them so why should I go crazy? Haha no.

Anyway an hour later we were talking and then he looked me in the eyes and said "You're really beautiful Annie" and then I said "You're sexy Michael" and he smiled before leaning in and kissing me passionately—

Okay, we get the picture.

There was a lot of things wrong with that little example there, but to be honest I over-exaggerated it for that purpose. The main thing I'll be talking about is the events.

Michael and "Annie" met in the chapter, and apparently an hour later they're kissing as if they've been together for years. What's that about?

I mean, granted, in my story You Give Me Fever, Michael and the girl kiss in only chapter four, having only known one another for about two days, but ... I've seen it within minutes of meeting before, guys.

It just isn't realistic ... is it?

You wouldn't just go up to a randomer and go "Hey! I only just met you but let's kiss", would you?

Although Michael is a sweet man, in the story he could be a ruthless murderer and you wouldn't even know cos you'd be too busy snogging his face off, hot damn!

My advice is to make the first kiss around about ... eh, at least a couple weeks after they first meet. Maybe even after. Kisses that arrive too soon are too unrealistic. I sowwie.

So yeah ... that's my first rant pretty much over.
