Tom's P.O.V.

"He said he loved you," Sonja said quietly, but loud enough that I could hear.

"He - No... He what?!" I exclaimed.

"Oh! Umm... He said he loved you as a friend!" she said quickly, trying to cover up the secret she just told.

"I'm telling Sparklez!!!" I yelled jokingly.

"No!" she exclaimed.

"Tell me what?" a voice whispered from the entryway of the kitchen. Sparklez stepped out from behind the door.

"Look at this... mess!" he flailed his arm in the air. I let out an embarrased chuckle.

"Uh... The reason for this is.. A party?" I cringed as his face lit up.

"A party! For who? And for what reason? And why wasn't I invited?" be said that last part with sad tone edging his voice.

"Run.." Sonja whispered.

"Well, it was a uh... Depression party for... Me and uhm.. You weren't invited because I was depressed about something you said..." I winced and braced myself for his reaction.

"I'm sorry Tom.." he whispered and ran, far away from my home.

I messed up. Big time.
