Chapter 36: The Last Straw.
The picture above is kinda what I pictured Tiff to look like just in case you wanted to know :p

Toms p.o.v.
I've been standing at his door for a solid ten minutes, trying to think of what to say first. Do I thank him first? Or do I just...ugh this is hard. What do you say to the guy you've known for years who killed your daughter in front of you and then helped you get a new one? I raised my hand to the door, but then I let it fall yet again. Just knock on the door dammit! It's not that hard!
"Uh, Tom?"
Please Dianite don't tell me it's him.
'Cant tell you that, boyo. That would be lying.'
Shit.
I sucked in a breath and spun around to face him. And Jesus he looked terrible. He was wearing all of his Mage armor except for the helmet, and just by looking at his face I knew he wasn't doing good. He was pale and he looked exhausted. He stood hunched over a good distance from me. He must think I still want to kill him.
"Hey." I swallowed hard. This is nerve wracking as hell.
"Hey. Um...how are things?" he asked shakily.
"Good. Better. Can we talk inside?" I stepped forward towards him.
"I don't...I don't really think that's a good idea." He stepped back a little bit.
"Okay...I wanna talk about what happened."
"Okay."
"Uh...Tucker dude...I know you didn't want to do what you did."
"I didn't..." he admitted dryly.
"Yeah and...I can see you're kinda suffering from it." Because you look like hell.
He nodded. "Yeah I am..."
"...do you regret what you did?"
"I regret it everyday of my life. I'm so sorry Tom. I made so many mistakes. I'd do anything to take it back, man." A few tears ran down his cheeks. He wouldn't look me in the eye. He just stared at my shoes as he spoke.
"Well...that's what I wanted to talk about mainly."
"About what?"
"Well...I heard something that may or may not be true. And I wanted to ask you about it."
"What...what is it?" he sniffled.
"...Did you help Wag get blood so he could make us a kid?"
He didn't answer.
"Tucker."
Silence. He didn't move or breathe or say anything.
"Tucker."
"He needed 15 gallons of human blood in order for it to work. I gave him 5 pints a day. I had to go to Decs 7 times to get fluids so I wouldn't die. I made Sonja and Wag and Dec all promise not to tell you guys..."
Five pints a day?! How is he not dead?!
"Dude why would you do that?! You could've gotten yourself killed giving five pints a day!"
"I don't care. I heard about Jordan getting depressed...and then every time I saw you, you looked so tired and sad. It was killing me man. I went to Wags to see if I could help with anything and he was trying to do that spell, but he didn't have enough blood. He asked if I could donate some...I ended up donating half of my body weight. Funny huh?" He laughed bitterly.
"Tucker. That's not funny. You look like a corpse dude."
"Sonja was so worried and I just kept saying it's for the best, because it was. She hasn't left my house in weeks because she's afraid I'll do something stupid. She doesn't get that I already have. I killed a little girl. I killed my best friends daughter. I can't do anything anymore without being reminded of it. There's this voice in my head that keeps telling me what a screw up I am. Tom I'm going insane." He buried his face in his hands and shook with sobs.
This sounds all too familiar. Depression, guilt, voices, insanity. Botan is attacking the other champions. I didn't even see it. He's killing Tucker like he was trying to kill Sparklez.
"Tucker I forgive you man. For everything. You aren't a screw up, you aren't a villain, you're a great guy. You just went the wrong way, but that's fine. You fixed it. Don't listen to the voice because the voice is wrong. I know who the voice belongs to and if you'll just let me talk to you inside, I'll tell you everything."
"You swear you won't try to choke me?" He was finally able to look me in the eye.
"I swear."
He sighed and walked slowly to the porch of his dojo, stopping at he steps. I hugged him, which was kinda hard since his armor is huge and bulky. He hugged me too.
"I've missed you man."
"I missed you too bro. Lets go get us some beers."

Jordan's p.o.v.
"Can you say...apple?"
"Affle!"
"Hmm. Can you say Phil?"
"Pill!"
"Can you say Phil sucks?"
"Pill shucks!" Rosie giggled.
"Don't teach my daughter curse words." I warned Matt. He grinned sheepishly.
So Rosie can talk. Like, extremely well. She can say at least three syllables at a time. I don't know if I should be proud or scared that my daughter can talk after two days of being born. Technically her vocal chords shouldn't even be fully developed yet. But I guess since she's sort of a demon, I can throw human baby facts out the window.
"This is amazing!" Phil exclaimed. "It's like she's growing by the minute! Is this normal Tom?"
Rosie was reaching for Phil's goggles on top of his head, and he gladly gave them to her. She put them on, but they slipped off just like my glasses had before. Phil laughed at her.
Tom shrugged. "Don't ask me, I don't have a clue. Demonology isn't something I'm familiar with."
"She's much too cute to be a demon. You wouldn't harm a butterfly would you Rosie?" Matt asked her.
"Budderfwy!" She squealed. The wizards all laughed and I cracked a smile. She is too cute to be a demon.
"It's been a long while. Are you sure Tom is coming back? It's getting dark and we need to put up the barrier soon." Phil looked out the window of Tom and I's bedroom with worried eyes.
"I'm sure he'll be back soon." It doesn't take this long to have a heart to heart chat with your best friend, does it? It's been nearly two hours.
"Rosie, do you prefer bunnies or puppies?" Matt asked Rosie.
"Bunny!" She shouted.
"Well that's funny. Because recently I've been having...a bunny problem!" He pulled a huge bunny out of his jacket and placed it on the bed. Rosie squealed so loudly I felt my ears pop. Her small hands made their way into the bunny's fur, but the little animal didn't mind. It licked her fingers and rubbed against her touch. This is the cutest thing I have ever seen.
"Matt they already have two pets. They didn't need a bunny." Tom narrowed his eyes at his brother.
"Oh Tom lighten up! It's a bunny! Everyone loves bunnies. Actually Matty, I think I was experiencing similar problems to yours!" Phil pulled a huge black and white bunny from the pocket of his work jacket. It hopped into Rosie's lap and cuddled with the other bunny. I had to laugh at the picture. Rosie was so excited she was bouncing.
"Matt. Phil." Toms voice sounded deep and serious, it made the other two brothers stop their joking around just to turn and look at him. I waited to hear Toms scolding words to the two younger brothers, but instead, I saw him smile a little.
"I was having that problem as well." A gray bunny hopped out of his robe pocket and jumped onto the bed, joining the other two. The room roared with laughter and Rosie's giggling.
I managed to stop laughing for a second to tell her the sad truth. "Rosie I am not keeping all of these rabbits sweetie. Our house will be covered in bunny poop."
"Aw come on dad, don't you want the poor child to be happy?" Matt grinned and nudged me with his elbow.
"Rosie beg your heartless poppy to let you keep your bunnies! Say please poppy!"
"Pwease poppy?" She asked sweetly. My heart fluttered a little when she said poppy.
Ugh. How could I say no to that?
"Alright..." I sighed. They all cheered at their victory. I guess I'll be cleaning up bunny poop for the rest of my life.
Tom entered the room at just the right time. "Hey I'm back from-...what's with all of the bunnies?"
"Shush!" Phil shushed him. "We're making childhood memories!"
"Daddy! Daddy!" Rosie squealed and reached out for Tom. His eyes widened the size of quarters when he heard her talk.
"She-...She said daddy! She called me daddy!" He exclaimed happily.
"Well don't just stand there. Pick her up." Tom rolled his eyes.
My Tom scooped her up and showered her forehead and cheeks in kisses while she giggled madly. Aw. I love my family.
"I suppose that's our cue to leave, sadly. The barrier will be up in a few minutes and should last until the morning. Call us if you need anything or if you spot Botan anywhere your home. We will keep in touch." Tom left the room almost immediately, but Matt and Phil lagged behind.
"I really don't want to leave, but I guess I must. Goodnight little Rosie! Remember to kiss your bunnies before they go to bed!" Phil kissed Rosie on the forehead and left the room. Matt was the last to leave.
"Please tell us of anything happens during the night and we will come over right away. I don't wish for anything to happen to this little angel. I promise I will protect her with all my might." Matt smiled and kissed her on the forehead, and then he left.
"I don't know how I feel about the wizards kissing my daughter..." Tom muttered after they all left.
I laughed at his protectiveness. "Be glad for it. They really like her and they want to protect her."
He only shook his head. "If they're still kissing her in 18 years, I'll kick their asses."

Night 2
Rosie's crying is what woke me up during the night. But I shouldn't call it crying, she was practically screaming as loud as she could. Tom was already up, and he was in the same position he had been in the previous night. He was backed up against the bed frame, his scared wide eyes looking into the darkness, with Rosie clutched to his chest. She still screamed even though he was holding her.
"Tom? What's wrong?" I tried to see what he was looking at, but it was so dark in the room.
"He's here." He whispered so quietly I could barely hear him.
A loud clattering noise was heard, and then a door slamming shut. What just happened?
I moved over to the wall and switched on the light. It took me awhile to adjust to it, but when I did, I felt my heart stop.
There was blood everywhere. It was splattered on the curtains, it stained the wooden floor, it was on the bed sheets, it was on my daughters baby blanket. Rosie's crying got louder, her tear filled eyes were focused on the three small mangled bodies at the end of the bed.
Botan murdered her bunnies.
"We need to leave now." Toms voice shook. "I can't deal with this shit Jordan. We have to go somewhere else."
"Let me call the wizards first and then-"
"No! We have to go now! That son of a bitch slaughtered her damn bunnies in front of us, I can't be here!" He shouted angrily.
Rosie's screaming only got louder from his yelling.
"Okay calm down! You're scaring her! I'll pack up the stuff and we'll go to the Wags place!"
"Wags place isn't safe! We need to go somewhere else!" He yelled back at me.
"Tom please stop yelling at me, I'm trying! Where can we go? Where do you want to go?"
"I don't know where! I just want to feel safe again...but no where is safe..." He started sobbing. My poor Tom. He's so stressed. I sat back down on the bed and wrapped my arms around him. He sobbed quietly into my shoulder while I rubbed soft circles into his back.
"It's okay. We'll find somewhere safe. I promise. Let's go to the wizards place, okay? Does that sound good?"
He nodded solemnly and hugged me tighter. "I l-love you."
"I love you too. Let's go."

I'm bored. Mianite season three is still in question, and I'll be severely depressed if they decide not to have another season. Plus I'll be very bored too, because Mianite is my life xD
