Jordan's p.o.v.

"Where...are...we?" I wheezed.

"Next to Dagrun. I didn't know where your house was so I just put us near the town. Are you feeling okay?" I felt him put a hand on my lower back.

"I just...need to stop for a second." I bent over and tried to catch my breath. It's official: I hate teleporting.

"I cannot believe what I've just done...he only follows the rules to help us and help the humans. I should have listened to him. I'm just tired of being there...I miss being able to talk to people like you. I miss being able to live." He sat down in the grass beside me and and stared at his hands solemnly.

"You guys never really get into fights do you?"

"No, but that's only because we had no choice but to get along. We are all we have. We can only talk to eachother because we are the only wizards left in the world and we can't talk to humans. I hope he doesn't permanently ban me from the tower...that was my home for thousands of years." I could see tears building up in his eyes, but he wouldn't dare let them spill.

"He can't stay mad at you forever. You're his brother. You can't go back on family." I sat next to him on the grass and we watched the sun go down together.

He sighed. "I really hope so."

"He will, I promise. Tom and I always get into fights, but we never leave it...OH MY GOD. TOM." I forgot I haven't spoken to him in two days! He probably doesn't even know where I am!

"What? What about him?" Matty asked confused.

"I haven't called him or seen him in two days! I need to get home now!"

"You might want to wipe off that vomit before you go. I'm no love genius but I'm pretty sure vomit is not a turn on," he laughed.

I flew home instead of walking, because I couldn't waste another minute without them. I wanted so badly to see Ianita and my Tom. I missed them so much. What would I even say when I met up with them? I spent two days at a secluded town with three extremely attractive wizards? That would sound a little odd.

"Can you perhaps slow down a little?!" I heard Matt call out from behind me. I couldn't slow down, I needed to get to my family. It wasn't that far away anyways.

Just a few more minutes.

I finally saw the tree after a few minutes. My heart seemed beat faster at the sight of it.

I flew down and landed next to the door. I quickly ran a hand through my hair and tried to smoothen out my shirt just so I wouldn't look completely awful when I saw him, and then I threw open the door.

He was here. My heart pounded even faster. He was sitting at the kitchen table, just staring at the mug in his hands. He looked up when I came in and his face lit up like a Christmas tree. He wasted no time tackling me and pulling me into his warm embrace, and I wanted no time in attacking his lips with mine.

I never realize how much I love him until I don't see him for awhile.

"Oh my gods. I missed you so damn much you lame sausage..." He whispered. I laughed over joyed and hugged him tighter.

"I missed you more. I missed my angel too. Where is she? Did she miss me?" I pulled away from our hug and looked around for Ianita, but she wasn't there.

I looked back to Tom. His face no longer wore a smile. I couldn't read his expression was, but something told me it was bad.

Something is wrong.

"Tom. Where is she?"

I could feel my throat tightening in fear. I could feel my stomach twisting.

"Last night...she and I decided to just stay at the dojo and wait for you guys to come back. Sparklez I swear to god she was right next to me. I didn't even hear him coming in. I didn't hear anything until-"

"Tom where the hell is she?" I couldn't stop the anger flooding through me. I wanted my daughter. I wanted my little girl.

I could see the tear stains now. I could see he'd been crying just minutes before. My stomach was in a full knot. I couldn't breathe. I could feel the dread in my chest.

And finally he said the two words that absolutely destroyed me.

"She's dead."
