Chapter 1: I Keep My Man Card

Jordan's P.o.v

It was early when I first woke up. Through the bedroom window I could still see twinkling stars, the moon was round and full, illuminating my bedroom, giving it a soft white glow. I couldn't sleep, this much I knew, by the way the blanket Tom had made for me was slung off of me in a disheveled manner. I was dreaming of Tom, of our wedding tomorrow and how he would be standing at the altar waiting for me, how we would give our forevers to each other, promising to stay loyal, to stay strong, through sickness and health, for better for worse. It made my stomach do barrel rolls every time I thought of his proposal to me, sure it was sorta on the spot and a little goofy, but he had his moments, and he was sweet as could be when he had them.

We decided to go with my plan after all, but changed it up a bit, waiting an entire week without seeing the other. Tom said he couldn't last a month. I could understand that. Going an entire week without him was proved to be extremely difficult. I couldn't wait to see him.

I reached out, grabbing the blanket from over the edge of the bed and pull it back on top of my now cooling body. I was grateful for the fact that even with Tom in one house, and I in another, I could still pick up Tom's smell on the blanket. I couldn't really put an exact finger on what his smell was so my conclusion had come to this...

Roses and chaos.

That was his smell. In a way it was like his personality. He could be very gentle and understand, but he was just as bad as a unruly puppy wanting to cause chaos around the house. I smiled at the thought of him being a tiny puppy. I yawned, Mr. Sandman wasn't happy that I was still awake, my eyes began to grow heavy, the thought of going back to sleep was tantalizing and I welcomed it with arms wide open. Curling up into the blanket, I was swept off again to dream land.

Toms P.o.v

BANG! BANG! BANG!

"Syndy! Get Ye lazy ass up Lad!"

I groaned and shoved my head deeper into my pillows.

"Mom five more minutes." I mumbled lazily, and jumped as I heard a door being busted open.

"I'm not ye mum and Im sure as hell gonna give ye a right rumble if ye don't get your ass outta bed mate." Steve's Australian accent floated into my ears. I shrieked as he ripped the blanket off of me letting the cold air hit my warm skin.

"Aye! Steve what the hell?! I was sleeping!" I yelled, he grunted and threw the blanket at my face.

"Ye forgot what today was didn't ye?" He was shaking his head in disappointment," Syndy ye have the worst memory I've ever seen mate." I tilted my head to the side slightly.

"What the bloody hell are you talking about Steve?"

"Syndy mate your wedding is today.. Ye getting married to Sparkly Boy today ye dingo!" He yelled at me in frustration.

It finally took Steve yelling at me for the pieces to click, and now that hey clicked I feel like a moron for forgetting my own wedding.

"HOLY HELL STEVE! WHY DIDNT YOU YELL AT ME SOONER?!" I scrambled out of bed and ran to the bathroom, trying to fix my mop top of messy blue hair," Oh my god Sparklez is probably up and moving getting shit ready for the wedding and I've been sleeping my happy ass away!" I yelled, the toothpaste foam splattering on the mirror as I ranted. Steve kinda snickered from where he was leaning on the door frame. He had went and opened my front door, both of us hearing the heavy knocks in a some kinda sequenced code. Through the mirror I could see Martha light purple hair, as she stood just barely in the hallway. Her and Steve were talking in low hushed voices. I was surprised that Steve and Martha still talked to each other, Martha was dating Wag but they had been dating for a short while. She wanted time to forget about Steve and the heartache he left for her.

"What are you two giggling girls talking about?" I asked.

Martha smiled widely at me with an innocent look. "There's a small issue with the wedding and I was talking about possible solutions."

"What kinda problem? Me and Sparklez had been planning months in advance and there weren't any problems then."

She twisted a long strand of her purple hair between her fingers

"Well it's not a major problem but we had asked Sparklez first if he would still let you do it and he refused to answer the question, he was very sure of himself."

Martha looked at Steve and he shrugged. "I wouldn't do it either but I mean if Syndy wants to then.."

"Can you stop beating around the bush and just tell me?" I snapped.

Martha sighed and headed into the kitchen, bringing back with her a hat box and a clothing bag, the kind you'd hide dresses and suits in. I gave her a questionable look, she unzipped the bag and out, in a literal popping fashion was a dress.

The dress was as white as snow, intended for the pure to wear, the skirt was a full, kinda like the top of a cupcake, when Martha moved the skirt in the slightest it shimmered as if the galaxy was embedded within the skirt. The bodice of the dress was rather beautiful, it looked like silk had flowed gracefully up the sides toward the top, the neckline curved with such grace dipping into a sweetheart neckline, the curves of the neckline were aligned with white gems. From where the two curves met in the center was the largest gem, and then they became smaller as they moved away from the center. I only just now noticed the silk bodice had been overlaid with a spiderweb bing of lace, making it have the feel of royalty and classic Hollywood.

"I-it's beautiful Martha." I said, I was afraid to touch it. I looked at her and she smiled.

"It was my moms wedding dress when she got married to Spark, I told Jordan this but even after he was still somewhat reluctant to let you wear it." She sighed, "I had asked my mother if she'd be okay with your permission if you would maybe...wear it." Steve came back with the hat box and a shoe box.

"Of course mate if ye agree to this ye can't wear heels like a real lass so Martha found these here yesterday." He opened the shoe box, and pulled out some really baller, blinged out, white converse.

"Oh my god Martha those are awesome!" I couldn't contain my excitement.

She smiled at me. "So you'll dress up as the bride then?"

"Hell yeah! I'll show Sparklez what it takes to be a real man." I thought for a second, "I mean a real 'woman'." Martha giggled a bit.

"Excellent oh! I brought something else that may help with the appearance." She gave the dress to Steve who held up his arm, letting the dress Hover just above the ground. Martha reached down reaching into the hat box, pulling out this long blonde wig, the ends of it curling into perfect ringlets.

"I'm gonna wear a wig?"

"Yes of course! Just to give that extra touch of girly." She grabbed my wrist and pulled me into the bathroom. Sitting me down on the toilet, I was sat with my back to her. She, from what I could see in the mirror above the toilet, was flattening my hair down and putting it into a wig cap, although where my hair met and formed that one spike, it would not cooperate with her so after fighting it Martha just left it alone. The wig his most, rather all, of my blue hair except for the one tuft with sat perfectly where the wig split down the middle.

"It looks great other than that one stubborn tuft." Martha mumbled, Steve looked at me and snickered.

"Ye look gorgeous mate." Steve said sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes at Steve. "I'm doing this for Sparklez and hey, can't a man get all dressy on his big day?"

"When a man gets dressy on his wedding day it's normally not to such an extent Syndy mate."

"Well all Im saying is because I'm doing this willing for a good reason.... I keep my Man Card."

Jordan's P.o.v

Sonja was fixing my face, nagging me about not getting enough sleep.

"Didn't I tell you at your bachelor party last night when you left to get a good nights rest?"

"Yes mother." I said sleepily, I wasn't in to bad a mood it was just the fact that I was tired.

She dug deeper into her makeup bag. Pulling out a round disc with a tiny brush of sorts.

"Now don't give such sass young man, I've gotta make you look presentable to your soon to be 'wife'." She air quoted and smiled, "I'm just glad you guys are getting your happily ever after. I looked up at her, she had a sad smile on her face.

"Sonja are you okay?" She didn't answer me and avoided the question.

"The concealer I'm putting under your eyes matches your normal skin tone which is good since it'll hide the bags under your eyes really well." She didn't meet my gaze.

"Sonjaaa." I whined.

"Hmm?" She finally looked up at me, and embedded into those sparkling emerald eyes, was a little sadness.

"Tucker loves you a lot, like more than he loves um...his armor?" I wasn't sure what he loved most, well other than Sonja.

She gave me a soft smile, rubbing my hair in a playful, sisterly way, "I got that Sparklez, now come on no sadness today! It's your wedding day!" She squealed a little," ooooh I can't wait to see you and Tom together under the altar we made!"

"Yeah it'll be great." I smiled gently, the thought of me and Tom actually making a huge commitment to each other was a scary thought but I wasn't to nervous this is what I wanted.

"Yeah I'll be the best maid of honor!" She fist bumped the air, giving her a look of confusion my curiosity peaked.

"Maid of honor? But neither one of us is a woman.."

She rolled her eyes. "Sparklez, Sparklez, Sparklez.... Sparklez listen, who do think voluntarily wanted to be the bride?"

"Oh right.. I still don't understand why he wanted to wear a dress but I agreed, as long as it makes him happy."

Sonja stood back, as if to check out her handy work. She gave me the thumbs up, "I did good! You don't look like your fiancé as much!"

"Ha ha, very funny." I stood up and looked into the mirror, there was color to my cheeks and she got rid of the bags under my eyes. I smiled, and looked at myself thinking back to what led me to this point. We had our ups and downs, it sure wasn't a smooth ride to get here, it was like one of those rides that had its twists and turns and you felt like you'd throw up sometimes but it was still fun.

"Hey! Tucker's here!" Sonja yelled up to me, she must've gone downstairs when I was looking at my reflection. Tucker was bringing the tux I was suppose to wear.

"Here comes the groom! In his hour of doom!" Tucker sang loud and very, very off key.

"Gee thanks.."

"You know you could take the RV and bolt, this isn't something you have to go through with." He looked at me with a certain playful aspect about him.

"I'm pretty sure of my decision to marry the one I love.." I smiled, the more the thought grew in my head, the happier I became and the more excited I got.

"Alright then, well let's get you all fancy sir! Otherwise Tom's gonna throw a fit." Sonja snickered a bit and looked at both of us.

"Tom the raging Bridezilla."

Tom's P.o.v

"Steve! Your shoving to hard!"

"I wouldn't need to use force if ye just relaxed!"

"Stop! Stop your hurting me!"

"Syndy it's suppose to hurt! Did ye think it would be painless?"

The door to my bedroom was busted down and Tucker looked mortified.

"What the hell's going on in here?!"

I looked at him, my cheeks were red from being breathless. "Steve's putting a corset on me so I can fit into this damned dress!" I barked

Color rushed back to Tucker's face and it looked like he was sighing in relief, "Oh thank god, from where I was it sounded waaaay different."

"Shut up blood boy and tell me how everything's going..." I grumbled.

Tucker smiled a bit, noting the wig. "You look like a real woman, but you pale in comparison to Sonja."

I rolled my eyes. "Look lover boy I asked you a bloody question."

"Fine fine, Sonja's finishing up with Jordan, and then Martha is swapping with her to get Jordan ready in his tux, I merely dropped if off, then Sonja's coming over here to get your face all fixed up and then from there it's all wedding."

"Cool, hey did you find him?"

Tucker nodded. "Yeah I found him, took forever and a day but with that feather Jordan had it wasn't too hard."

"You think he'll be happy? I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to bring him to the reception."

"Well he's not going to be in the main part of the wedding so I think you'll be good."

It just took me till now to notice Steve was done with my corset.
"I think I'm gonna die of lack of oxygen."

"Nah ye be fine, with Jericho talking to ye it made my job easier." Steve nodded, we all heard the knocking, "That's probably the lass."

Sonja walked into my room, her short purple dress flowed with every step she took. The white ribbon that went across her midsection, looked like a tail as it trailed behind her.

"I'm here to do a make-up job for the bride?" She held up a bag and smiled devilishly. "Don't worry I'll make you look great and not like a rodeo clown." She must've seen the flash of horror on my face to have reassured me so quickly.

"How many hours do we have?" I asked I didn't have my communicator on me so I couldn't keep track of time. I saw Tucker look at his communicator from the corner of my eye.

"We have about, I'd say, 3 or 4 hours before the actual ceremony, so don't worry you'll be fine."

"It's not me I'm worried about.."

Sonja waved her hands at me, in such a gesture as if to say, 'don't worry about it'. "Sparklez was actually really calm when I was fixing him up and then Martha swapped places with me so she could get him all dressed up."

I sighed in relief. So Jordan was okay, that's a good sign as long as he was calm I was calm. I listened slightly to Sonja's instructions, I was mostly absorbed into how the next few hours of my life would be.

'I can't wait to marry him.' I thought smiling.

~Few hours Later~

The Ceremony

Jordan's P.o.v

My gaze wandered over the beautifully done ceremony hall. Tom and I had picked the now taint free area behind his house. It was relatively flat and there were ethereal blooms everywhere.

From the back, walking down the aisle, the chairs were covered with pale purple sheets, but were wrapped in the back in a pale red ribbon. When you walked down the aisle, it was lined with deep red rose petals, but every few steps were the mystical purple flowers; which Waglington had generously, and eagerly, collected with Martha. The mystical purple flowers had let out small purple sparkles and gave the deep red rose petals a shimmering affect. Down the very center of the aisle was an aisle runner, which was a red-violet color. When you came toward the front the archway stood tall and loud, attracting your attention when you first entered the ceremony. It was woven with birch wood saplings, almost in a braided manner, since they were easy to bend. Tucker and Sonja had made it together, weaving red and purple ribbons through the the archway, the top curled over and then smaller branches were tied together at the top making a little point, the ribbons had fluttered around the top just hanging over the edge of the archway. On either side of the archway were adamantine pedal stools, sitting atop were bouquets of wisteria flowers. I thought they had been grapes at first but closer inspection revealed to me that they were just small flowers. I watched everyone we know come and take their seats, Tucker was at piano, I asked him if he could since he had played at Martha and Steve's wedding all those months ago. He was playing very soft music, since it was a few minutes before the actual ceremony took place. I found Lady Ianite chatting with Waglington, who seemed to be love struck, so I assumed Wag was talking bout about his Martha. Sonja was no where to be found, although I had a good idea that she was helping Tom with last minute preparations. Tony, Nade, Josh, and Champwan, were all sitting on Tom's side of the aisle.

Traditionally speaking, you'd have those with the groom and those with the bride, on either side of the aisle. Instead we did it as to whether you were an Ianitee or Dianitee, with a few being the exceptions, say Sonj, Tucker, and Dec.

But that's not what grabbed my attention to Tom's fellow Dianitees. There was a girl standing next to Tony, she was laughing at something he'd said. She was crowned with a dark shade of reddish orange hair, not quite as ginger as Dec's but almost. She wore a long deep red dress, I noticed a slit from the middle of her thigh ran all the way down, in the v neck of the dress where it came to a point, here was a ruby, deep in color. The girl had matched, to the tee, the dress code for which Martha had laid out in the invitations.

To her right was a much shorter girl, this girl had bright blonde hair, that it almost looked platinum. I could not recall in my memories meeting either of the girls. The blonde girl's dress was a rather nice shade of Lavender, it was one shouldered, the shoulder had a amethyst pin, the pin had a pair of gold wings on either side.

I had no time to go and question the girls, because both took their seats as Tucker began playing the piano tune of 'Here Comes the Bride.' I immediately stood back in my place under the birch wood archway.

A Tom in all white appeared bright against the red and purple colors of the outdoor ceremony, it took me only a moment to realize what was off.

He was wearing a long blonde wig that had natural curls towards the ends of the lengths. The dress he wore could only be defined as stunning, and Sonja had done wonders on his face, making him the most gorgeous man I'd ever seen. When our eyes finally met, he smiled brightly at me. I held my hand out to him as he came closer to the archway, he obviously was awestruck by the decor. The blush in his cheeks was obviously done by Sonja. It only urged me to kiss him more.

I liked the feel of his hands in mine, the calloused parts reminding me he was a warrior, the softer parts also showed he had a gentler side to him. Dec's voice snapped me back to reality.

"You may take your seats." I glanced, everyone on their respective sides, and saw Waglington, with little surprise, sitting next to Martha, I guess he was corralled into wearing a pale purple hooded wizard robes to match the dress code.

Dec cleared his throat and looked into the black book he held.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we have all gathered here to witness the matrimony of Tom Cassell Syndicate and Captain Jordan Sparklez, as they give their commitment of love and trust to the other." He closed his book and held it in his hands, he nodded to Tom, who took a small piece of paper out of his red and purple bouquet, that I only now noticed. He looked at me and nodded, I reached across the space between us and lifted the thin white veil that only obscured my vision of him slightly.

Tom cleared his throat and looked at the paper. "Sparklez the first time I nearly killed you, we were swimming away from Steve's farm, which was burning to the ground, the next was because I hurt you and you ran away. There isn't enough space for me to write all the pains and problems I've caused you in the past." He paused and looked at me before continuing.

"I wrote my commitment not out of guilt by out of the cherished love I have every time I see you. Your blue eyes are that of vast oceans, seeing beyond all the problems and always looking on the brighter, and more hopeful side of things. Your heart has the ability to spread and go a thousand different directions before it thinks about its own feelings. Your balanced thoughts and open minded personality let you see from both sides. I love you for all the times I've been nothing but a dick to you, and you still stay by my side. However it's the smaller things about you I find speak out the biggest to me, how you always wear your sunglasses even when if your indoors, how you always have a certain look of frustration when dealing with a problem you don't quite know the answer to. And the look of your eyes when your overwhelmed with joy that you might explode. All of these little things make me fall for you harder and harder every time I'm with you, it's the commitment you put forth to me that I love the most about you, and I'm glad that from this moment forward I can be your one and only."

I thought I was gonna cry right then and there, Tom had said his speech with such compassion that I forgot we were surrounded by friends and family. A few silent tears slid down my face, and he gently reached across and wipes them away. I smiled and wouldn't stop while I reached in my jacket pocket and took out my own little speech.

Tom's P.o.v

I'd made him cry, they were tears of joy yes, but I didn't want to see his face puffy eyed and tear stained. I gently wiped away his tears and he smiled at me. Jordan had reached into his own jacket pocket and pulled out a neatly folded paper. He cleared his throat looked down at the paper.

"Tom, going far back into my memories the first time I met you was on a beach, when we were in our own dimension, at first I thought you were weird, well, because you were part zombie and not burning. The weird part of you still reigns true as you stand before me dressed as a woman, a very beautiful one at that." He winked at me briefly, and continued.

"There are bigger and more noticeable qualities about you that I love, your ego is one, the warrior inside of you that gives you a bright courage, the trails of chaos you leave behind sometimes. But there's a quality that doesn't always show, and when you show it, it outshines all the others. Your kind and gentle side, and don't disagree because we both know it's there. There is little that I dislike about you, even your imperfections are perfect to me. I couldn't change anything about you because that would make you less of who you are, I fell in love with you because your you. My heart and its components belong solely to you and I'm happy I'm spending the rest of forever with you."

Sonja's P.o.v

I was crying.

Well I wasn't balling my eyes out, but I was silently crying. It was bad enough when Tucker had to give me the handkerchief Martha put in his jacket pocket to keep me from ruining my makeup.

Both Jordan and Tom's vows to each other could not have been more heart felt and true. Sitting here listening to the compassion, dedication, and love they were speaking to each was almost to sweet, I thought it was gonna make me sick from sweetness overload. I hadn't even noticed Dec doing his priest stuff, until I heard Sparklez repeating after him, and then slipping Tom's red adamantine ring on his left hand finger. Tom did the same, slipping a manyullyn ring in the same fashion. I was surprised when Dec had read off," you may now kiss the bride," that it was Sparklez who pulled Tom to him and spun him into a dip, kissing his lips with a passion. Of course, Tucker being the guy he is was the one to jump out of his chair and start whooping and clapping, followed with the same cheers. Tucker quickly went back to the piano playing a nice happy tune as Sparklez carried Tom, piggy back style, down the aisle.

Jordan's P.o.v

As I ran with Tom, still attached on my back, away from the ceremony. Martha had said we were to wait a bit before going to the reception. She said something about a 'grand entrance'. The thought didn't worry me much.

"Sparklez! Put me down now you cheeky sausage." I laughed a little and slowed down to a stop. Letting Tom hop off my back I noticed the white sparkly converse under the dress.

"Nice shoes, now I know how you never tripped in that dress." I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Mrs. Sparklez."

"Noooooo it's Mr. And Mrs. SyndiSparklez!" He whined to me, I kissed him again. "You know kissing me won't always shut me up."

"Yeah I know but you look really beautiful right now so it's hard not to." I smiled at him. "I'm glad you liked the ring by the way, I had Steve help me find the adamantine for it."

"Yeah! You made the rings correspond with our gods." He smiled. Taking my hand gently, Tom was admiring my ring. "The manyullyn wasn't hard to make was it?"

I shook my head. "Not really I had some in my M.E. System, in the spectre, the ring was actually the hard part, since manyullyn doesn't like to bend."

"Well, they're beautifully crafted rings. Now I've got a surprise for you and you can't, like, spazz out too much or pass out!" He instructed semi sternly. "Promise me you sausage!"

"Okay! Okay! I promise!" Tom leaned forward and kissed me quickly before covering my face with his hands. "Um Tom?"

"Don't worry! I won't run you into anything I just need you to turn to your left a bit and take to steps right." I did as he had asked me and stopped.

"Okay now what?"

"Now this!" He uncovered my eyes and I nearly did as was told not to.

"W-wha?" I stuttered.

Andor stood only a couple of paces from me, the blonde girl from earlier was stood at his side, her arm interlocked with his. He was wearing a light lavender dress shirt and a black tie, with matching black dress pants. He dipped his head and smiled at me.

"Good afternoon Jordan."

I thought I could've been struck by lighting then and died happy, but no, I choked a cry and ran to him, with the excitement of a 4 year old, and tackled him into a hug, although I made sure it wasn't strong enough to knock him into the grass. If I'd don't that I would've suffered the wrath of an angry Martha the Mystic.

"Oh my god I've missed you Andor." I exclaimed.

"And I the same, you were one of my very good friends when I resided here, and still are."

The blonde girl next to him giggled. "He can't stop talking about you once he starts. I thought you were like a lover at some points." She smiled holding out her hand. "I'm Nikole Lee, or Lee, whichever." I smiled nicely at her.

"So now I know the wedding crasher." I laughed. "Nice to meet you Lee."

"How'd you meet Andor?" Tom asked from beside me, I looked over and his head was resting on my shoulder, I forgot he was a few inches taller than me.

Lee looked thoughtful. "Well I can remember being in my house, it was raining terribly outside and out of no where I hear a knock at my door." She sneezes her nose scrunched up, making a rather cute face. Andor looked at her then, his eyes showing nothing but affection for her. And then I realized who she was to him.

Lee was Andor's girlfriend.

"Sorry about that. I have a bit of a bad immune system. Anyways, I go to my door and I see the cutest boy I've ever seen, who's overgrown hair is completely matted to his face and his clothes soaked. He looked so cold and helpless...I felt so bad for the poor baby, so I invited him in and took care of him. Now he can't live without me." Lee giggled and pinched Andors cheek lightly, making him smile wider.

"The past few months we have been more than friends I may admit." Andor said rather shyly, making Lee giggle as well and peck his cheek. I felt so happy for him. He found a girl he loves.

"So who was the other girl you were talking to before the wedding? She was sitting with my friends Nade and Tony." Tom inquired. I didn't know he'd seen the girl from earlier.

"Oh! You guys saw my friend Kyra! Yeah she's here because one of your friends invited her but I'm not sure who." Lee had a hand under her chin. I saw Martha first, then Andor. She had handfuls of her dress so she wouldn't trip, Wag running behind holding his hood down, preventing it from uncovering his face.

"My sweet nephew!" She squealed, I back away as she engulfed him in a hug.

"Hello Aunt Martha." He smiled attempting to hug her but she had both his arms pinned.

"How did you know of this wedding Andor?" She asked.

"Tom's friend Tucker. He was sent by Tom to invite me to the wedding." Andor explained.

I turned and looked at Tom baffled. He smiled at me rather shyly. "Well I didn't actually know what to get you for a wedding present so I went through your stuff and found that feather from Andor's wings and Tucker used his blood magic to find him, so I asked Tucker to find him since I knew you'd worry if I disappeared."

I hugged him tightly, kissing him gently. "Best wedding gift ever."
