UPDATE!
Maybe I'll update again soon!
Yeah, I laughed too.
Off topic, anyone joined any new fandoms?
I've been sucked into the wonderful Steven Universe and Gravity Falls hype since we last spoke (Well I speak, you guys just skip to the story (dont blame you XD))
They can be whatever. Shows, Movies, Youtubers, or even some shoe fandom I've never heard of.
Just curious, yaknow!
Welp, enjoy I suppose.

"Things are getting interesting. Don't you agree, sister?"
Ianite slowly inclined her head upward, though there was no figure to face. Her chains rattled softly as she moved. Every movement sent pain coursing through her body, an unfamiliar and dangerous thing for an immortal, however she would not give her brother the satisfaction of her defeat so easily.
Her prison was the same as always, enshrouded in darkness and bound within dark twisted bars. The only thing new sat brightly around her right pointer finger, gleaming a warm violet. A symbol of the life now linked to hers.
Her lifeline.
Her last hope.
"Even those hermits seem to be finally crawling out of their holes." Dianite continued, his voice seeminlgy coming from everywhere and no where at once. "I can't wait to see how long that lasts after the fiasco last time." He chuckled, the sound like crackling flames.
Ianite inwardly frowned at this information, though outwardly her face remained emotionless. Her knowledge of the events in the overworld were limited, though she was often able to draw things from her connection with Maron. This, however, was new.
If the Wizards were moving, then things were going to get much more dangerous.
"You really can not stop talking, can you, brother?" Ianite spat the last part, finding her voice steady despite her wavering form.
Dianite's voice paused, and Ianite could feel a soft wave of confusion eminate from the air around her so quickly that she barely caught it.
"Ah, still fiesty, aren't we? Does having one tiny little Champion really inflate that ego of yours so much?" Dianite finally spoke, his voice coming out in a purr.
Suddenly, Dianite's form materialized before her. She stiffened as he kneeled in front of her, feeling his eyes boring into her head. She felt his hand grasp her chin and suddenly she was looking into his eyes. Swirling pools of melted gold staring into her conflicted irises with a cruel curiousity.
She snarled, yanking her head from his grasp, unable to restrain the anger that flooded through her at his touch.
"Though it truly is strange." He mused thoughtfully, backing away from her quickly. "You shouldn't have this much strength left in you. I half expected you to be dead about this point."
Ianite noticed a frantic flash in the god's eyes, the shift in his tone. In that moment, she realized just how uncomfortable Dianite was around her. She could feel it in the way he kept his distance most of the time, only touching her briefly when necessary. The grab at her face had been a bold one, because he truly thought that she was weaker.
Dianite was afraid of her.
Ianite quickly filed this information away and glared up at him. She could tell by the twitch in his eye how much it seemed to unnerved him.
"Then I must say. I am not sorry to disappoint." She found the strength to grin up at him, taking satisfaction in further unsettling him. "Seems like that one little tiny Champion is worth more than you thought."
For a moment, Dianite said nothing, and then, to her surprise, he began to nod.
"Yes, the boy is certainly more than I have given him credit for." Ianite felt a chill as her brother began to grin.
"Interesting." He chuckled, his body fading, leaving Ianite alone again with a sudden sinking feeling in her stomach.
-_-_-_-brrrrreak line-_-_-_-
Initially Sonja had felt pity for Tom as the pirates ganged up on him, but now, she felt like kicking him too. She could tell that Tucker felt the same as she felt his back tense against hers and an angry grumble escape his lips everytime the idiot opened his mouth. It had been over an hour and his taunts seemed unending, just as the small captain's kicks were.
Why couldn't he just shut his damn mouth?
A visage of pain swept across her face as her tail emitted another wave of pain from where it was crushed between hers and Tucker's backs. The pirates had initially attempted to pull it off until they found out the hard way that it was defenitely real. Now it was left stuck between the two of them, twitching, unused to the prolonged still it was forced into.
She groaned. Gods, she was bored out of her mind. The whole "pirate" thing had been scary two hours ago, but the initial fright had quickly turned to another annoyance in her daily life as the hour dragged on. To make it worse, the skull masked creep kept looking at her, his eyes popping like a bug's through the holes in his mask.
She glared openly at him. He hadn't been the nicest when tying her and Tucker together. In fact, Sonja was sure her wrists were going to be bruised for the next few weeks.
Tucker had tried to fight them off, successfully biting at the man's hand, causing him to wail pathetically. They'd had to gag both of them after that, but not before the man had hit Tucker hard enough that Sonja had heard a crack.
She felt her hands beginning to heat up, unable to contain the anger that welled up suddenly at the memory. She soon felt Tucker's worried gaze bore into the back of her head, and pulling on that anchor, she took a deep breath, releasing it slowly as her hands cooled. Turning her head slightly, she met Tucker's eyes and gave him a small thankful nod which he quickly mimicked, though his eyes were full of soft reassurance. Sonja felt a flush of warmth in her chest as she turned away from her boyfriend's eyes.
"Oh. Get this one! So a pirate walks into a bar, yeah? The bartended asks: 'what's with the stick in your pants?' And then, get this, the pirate said: "Argh! It's drivin' me nuts!' Hah! Get it cause--oof!-"
If the pirates didn't kill them soon, Tom's humor would end them all.
"Hey, why are pirates called pirates?"
"Because they ARRRRRRRR!"
Sonja was about to roll her eyes when she realized it hadn't been Tom who had finished the joke.
The pirates seemed to have noticed too as they turned away from the green man, looking about for the newcomer. Sonja watched as Tom slumped with the pirates' attention finally drawn from him, his face finally reflecting the pain he no doubt felt. Sonja felt a flicker of guilt as she realized that the poor guy had been drawing the attention away from them and silently swore to make him pie once they got out of this.
"Who goes thar? Show yerself ye slimey coward!" Capsize bellowed, an impressive feat for one her size.
"I'm right here Captain! Man I knew you were dim, I just didn't realize that extended to your eyesight as well."
Sonja's eyes widened. She knew that voice and those horrible insults. She opened her mouth to call out to him, but stopped as she felt a hand grip hers. She glanced at the owner of the hand, raising an eyebrow as Tucker subtly shook his head 'no'. Quickly, she shut her gaping mouth and nodded, turning back to Capsize whose face had turned a deep, furious scarlet.
Sonja looked around, frowning. They were smack dab in the middle of a clearing, sitting beneath the only tree in a 2 mile radius. So where the hell was he? Maybe the tr-
"Tree! Yer up in her boughs, aren't ye?" Capsize turned on the lone tree, brandishing her sword, swinging it wildly as her eyes darted about the branches.
"Really, Captain. I'm right in front of you, see?"
Suddenly, a loud crack echoed through the clearing and with a large shudder, Sonja watched as the lone tree fell, split perfectly down the middle.
"See? There's no one in the tree."
The pirates had all gone white, Capsize's jaw flapping wordlessly.
Sonja stiffened as she felt a presence beside her, feeling Tucker do likewise.
"It's me, hold on." The voice whispered.
The two relaxed slightly and soon felt the bonds around their wrists go slack.
"W-witchcraft!" Skull-face yelped, backing away.
Just as he was about to make a run for it, something glimmered in the air, smacking the unprepared pirate directly in the head. Sonja felt a strange sense of satisfaction as she watched his eyes roll up into the back of his head sending him crumpling to the ground with a small whimper.
Redbeard ran towards his limp comrade only to soon be met with the same fate, falling with little more dignity than his comrade as he landed face first, having been struck in the back of the head.
"Brother!"
As they watched, a figure slowly began to fade back into existence in front of the two bodies, a grin split across his face.
"You!" Capsize spat, fury replacing fear.
Jordan stepped forward, fully visible.
"Me."
Sonja would have praised the whole situation as super cool if Jordan hadn't taken one step and tripped over skull-face's sprawled leg. Luckily he caught hinself, but it was too late to save his moment. Jordan must have realised this too as his face scrunched in disppointment, kicking away the limp pirate.
Pulling the curved blade from her belt, the female captain let out an angry cry, rushing forward.
Sonja lept up, ignoring the painful tingle of her legs waking. She knew Tucker was right behind her as she darted to the limp body, pulling her sword from his belt. Now feeling confident with the familiar weight in her hand, she turned only to find there was no need.
Jordan was a whirlwind, weilding a shining blade Sonja had never seen before. He fought in an unorthodox pattern, slashing and stabbing with the ease of a professional. Sonja watched, noticing admiredly how Jordan was purposefully holding back, cutting shallow nicks where deadly blows should have been. Capsize, on the other hand, seemed to be fighting with all she had, screaming curses each time Jordan easily dodged her feral swings.
She had obviously been well trained as well, hardly breaking a sweat despite the ferocity of her movements. But there was still a definite gap in ability between the two.
Finally, Jordan seemed to think it had been long enough as Sonja noticed a subtle change in his stance. As Capsize swept her cutlass in a horizontal arch, Jordan fell back, missing the deadly blade by seconds. Just before he hit the ground, his left hand shot out, catching him as he swung his leg, using Capsizes motion against her. She let out a cry as her legs were swept out beneath her, hitting the ground just as Jordan pivoted himself into an upright position.
Breathing heavy, Capsize tried to pull herself back up, but was stopped by the edge of a blade against her throat.
The downed Captain attempted a growl, but it came out as more of a strangled whimper as she glared up at her smirking assailant.
"What's wrong Cap? Did I sweep you off your feet?"
Capsize said nothing, only glaring as she tried to catch her breath.
Slow applause interrupted the short silence, shattering the smirk on Jordan's face.
"Impressive show, Mr. Sparklez."
Suddenly Tucker was in front of her, his arm stretched out defensively as he gently pushed her back. Sonja felt a sudden urge to grab his arm and judo flip him. A sign that either meant he had either cooked her pet rabbit again or...
A blur of green and black brushed by them.
"My lord!" Tom cried, falling to his knees. Sonja wasn't sure whether he was trying to kneel or he had just collapsed out of pain.
Sonja's paled, her fears confirmed.
"Hello children." Dianite purred, his voice sending shivers down Sonja's back.
"Daddy's home."
A/N
So, I need to admit something.
I don't really want to write this anymore, but I can't stop.
Because you guys.
Are WAY too nice to me
How can I say no to you guys? T-T
You guys are the reason I write this fic. Plus, I understand from a reader's perspective how horrible it is when a writer just up and decides to quit a story or completely deletes their account and stories so I can't even reread it and mope. Though I don't think this story is that great, I don't want to do that to you guys. This doesn't mean that updates will come any faster, it just means that I will update unlike some Wattpad peeps.
Well, ciao!
