Oscars POV
The next day I woke up around 4:30 am and went down to the kitchen. grabbing an apple from the fruits basket then headed out to start working in the field. When I heard something behind me and turned around to see ruby sitting there at the outdoor table with her notebook and pencil in hand looking straight at me.

"Oh ruby it's just you!."I said with a Sigh of relief.

"Oh sorry did I scare you?" She said with a look of distress on her face.

"No no your fine but what are you doing up so early?" I asked coming up to her.

"Well I wanted to watch the sunrise." She said looking back out at the plane with the trees in the distance.

When I got a text from my aunt saying:
Oscar I will be gone today so can you please take ruby out on a tour of the city for me. and take the day off today. thank you and have a good time.

Uhhh my aunt she is rilly pushing it! But it will be nice to have a day off. I said to myself with a sigh.

"Well looks like I'm taking you on a tour of the city today." I said putting my hand on her shoulder.

" really! That's awesome when do we leave!" She asked enthusiastically with her eyes wide and excited.

"Right after we eat a better breakfast." I said going to the kitchen.

"But I already ate." She said as she sat down at the eat in island. When a loud grumble came from her stomach.

" uh hu?" I said looking back at her grabbing the ingredients for crapes.

"Ha ha I guess I was more hungry than I thought i was." She said looking down at her lap with a slight blush on her cheeks.

           ~Time skip to after breakfast ~
Ruby's POV
"Wow that was delicious! How did you learn to cook like that?" I asked with surprise in my voice.

"Well I picked up a few things whale I've been here like cooking." He said with a slight blush.

"Come on let's go get ready." He says walking away to his room.

Ten minutes later
Oscars POV
I was standing out in the hall waiting for ruby to come out so we could go. But all I could think of was her cute giggles when I realized what time it was. What as taking her so long?

"Ruby are you almost ready!" I asked as I knocked on the door.

" YEAH IM DONE!" She said as she opened he door ever so slightly.

She came out of the room closing the door behind her and she was beautiful. She wore a short pink skirt and a striped shirt with a pair of black shoes. And it all complemented her eyes and body. I could feel myself start to blush
Wait what's Wong with me?

Ruby's POV
I came out of the room and looked at Oscar who looked to be in a daze of some kind.

"Oscar? Are you ok?" I asked giving him a tap on the shoulder.

"Oh yeah I'm fine." He sed scratching the back of his head and I couldn't help but giggle a little at his cute gesture. Then he reached out his hand to me and I nervously took it and started to blush as he took me to the car.

The car ride was kind of awkward with neither of us talking when he turned on the radio when to my surprise the song mr. sand man came on.

"Mr. sandman bring me a dream" I started to mumble in the car

"Wait you know this song?!" Oscar asked surprised

" yeah I listen to it all the time it's a good song!" I said looking at him excitedly

"No way I thought I was the only one who listened to older songs!" He said with excitement

"What other songs do you listen to?" He asked

"Well I usually listen to musical theater songs. I love them very much but I also like old 80's and 90's songs to." I said and looked at him with a smile

He looked at me and smiled back sweetly. "Oh we're here!" He said as we parked.

We got out of the car and started walking.
"What do you want to do first?" He asked as we went into town.

I instantly grabbed his hand and ran into a store nearby. We spent the rest of the day looking in shops,eating good food and going to different attractions. It was amazing and I loved it.

Oscars POV

She instantly grabbed my hand and ran into a store nearby. We spent the rest of the day looking in shops,eating good food and going to different attractions.
And I could tell she loved it. Because The moment we got there her eyes lit up like the stars and she had a big smile on her face the whole time.
We ended up having a good day. It was fun and I was happy to get out of the Field for once.

"WOW look over there Oscar!" I herd ruby say to me.
I looked over to see a giant fair with booths,games,food and rides!
