Chapter 5

Nakamoto Hanna POV.

From the last 2 hours, we have been researching places that Kurogiri/Jax might be using as a secret base. Thankfully, the other pro-hero teachers at UA helped us. It was already dark, and everyone decided to continue researching in the morning, when it's bright enough for people to search for more places. I couldn't stop. What if Cameron was in grave danger? I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if Cameron dies. He's one of us, and if he's not with us, our lives will fall apart. All four of us individuals have each other to rely on. If we lose one, we lose all. Were nothing without one. I told Riley and Conor that I'd keep searching for Cameron. Both probably felt bad, so they also decided to keep searching. UGH. Only if I kept in contact with that nice detective who liked my quirk. And there went lil' dumb me, not believing him, and didn't keep his number just in case of emergencies. He would be a great help right now. We went to Cameron's house and told his parents that he was taken by a villain. His parents were devastated to hear the news, so they decided to come with us on the search. We called our parents and told them that something bad had happened to Cameron, and his parents and Deku would be with us, so we were going home late.

First, we looked at the church that had just been closed due to repairs. We looked at the old market that resides right by the border of Hosu city. We looked everywhere, but still couldn't find Kurogiri.

Suddenly, Conor said something that made us hope for the best.

"If Kurogiri's base isn't here, then I think we should check the old toy factory." Conor said.

The rest of us nodded our heads in approval.

Onto the old Toy Factory. We had to pick up the pace. No one knows what has happened to Cameron, but we know that he's probably in danger.

Fukushima Conor POV.

When we got to the old toy factory, I noticed a sign that said:

Do not go any further. Trespassers will be killed.

"I think this is i-"

"SMASH!" Deku shouted as he punched a hole through the wall.

"What do you see?" I ask.

"I see a weird portal-looking object, but I can't go through."

"Maybe I can open it. I mean, my quirk is meant to control portals. I'll try to get in."

"No Conor, it's too risky. After all, you aren't even close to being a hero yet. Hell, you've only been at UA for only about a week!"

I didn't care what he said. When I was younger, my father would always tell me, " Remember this-you can never be too prepared," so I opened it anyways and dove in.

I fell into a dark room, where I could hear yelling, almost as if their mouth was tied up. I remembered that I had a lighter in my pocket,, so I quickly reached into my pocket and lit it. I could see who was there. It was Eijiro James, tied up in a chair!

"James, what the hell happened?" I asked as I untied him from the chair.

"They, They," He said, catching his breath, "They got me and Cameron, and tied me up. We have to get out of here, quickly!"

"Okay, but do you know anything that happened?"

"Yeah. I saw Jax holding Cameron while carrying him out of the factory. He said, 'I'll be back in about 4 hours,' but it's already been 4 hours, 4 minutes, and 32 seconds!"

"How do you know?"

"I started counting after he left. He left through that door," He pointed to the west door.

I walked through, when I got trapped into a room. There were portals surrounding me, though I couldn't go through, so I unlocked a portal and went through. It took me outside of the old toy factory. I reopened the portal so I could go back in. I figured out how the portals worked. Each portal takes me to a different area in time and place. I noticed that one of the portals was changing colors and I heard a muffled voice. I went through and found myself at a small bar. I saw several newspapers, saying, "Deku saved lives, once again!" It had Deku's face circled with marker. I noticed another door.

When I opened the door, it took me back to where James was. Jax was there, holding James.

"Jax, what are you doing?" I asked, but there was no response. I saw he was about to make a warp gate, so I placed a portal behind him and placed another one by Deku, who was by the factory entrance.

"I got him, he should be to your right," I said over the walkie talkie.

"I see him!" Deku said, but once again, it was too late, "Darn it! He warped again! Oh wait! James got out of his restraint!"

I teleported back to see James.

"I know where they went!" James shouted.

"Can you tell us?" Deku asked.

"Yes, Jax took Cameron to somewhere in UA, but I'm not exactly sure where. They might have moved on, because they knew that we escaped,", So he shape shifted into a dragon, and let us climb onto him, and flew to the school.

"I see the-"

"SMASH!" Deku shouted as he punched a hole in the ground.

"Darn it. Boss," Kurogiri's friend said over the walkie, "They got me!"

"I'm on my way," I heard Kurogiri reply.

"Here," James remarked, and focused for a moment, before shapeshifting into a flashlight.

"Oof," he said as he clattered onto the ground, "You're supposed to use me as a flashlight!".

I quickly grabbed him, and saw Kurogiri, bathed in the light James' was providing. He was slowly walking, while Cameron was slung over his right shoulder, his body limp and unmoving.

"What did you do to Cameron!?" I roared, my voice seething with rage.

"Don't worry, he isn't dead. He's just asleep.", Jax smirked, looking happy for the first time in a while.

Right after that, James turned into bottle of ammonia, so I ran up to Cameron. I held it under his nose, and jolted slightly as Cameron woke up, confusion sprawled across his face.

"OH GOD," Cameron said, "WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING? I DON'T LIKE THIS." Right after that, he brought us six back into the past, before the incident, but it didn't work.

"I changed his quirk," the guy who was in a headlock from Deku, "that's my quirk."

Hanna dialed the police a few seconds after.

"Well, I guess that's too bad." Jax said, chuckling evilly.

"For you!" I shouted. "Take that!"

I launched a black hole at Jax. He was finally gone, forever. I prepared for another black hole, aiming at Kurogiri's friend.

"Give him his power back," I said, "Or you'll be with Jax."

"Okay," he said, "I gave it back."

"Cameron, does it work?"

Cameron jumped into the past. A few seconds later, he came back.

"Yep." He replied.

The police arrived shortly after, and we headed back to our homes, because it was almost 11:00.

"Conor, it's past your curfew!" My mom shouted.

"I'm sorry, there was a lot going on."

And it's finished! Thanks for anyone who ever read this! There is a second book for this, but it was never finished as this whole story was made last year, when all of the writers wrote this, including me. As we move in into our next grade, teachers give more homework, so we usually never have time. Now, we ended it off with one extra chapter, (or more) to make an Epilouge, and maybe a possible 2nd book. I'll try my best to try to make the next book if my friends(other writers) don't want to write the next book anymore.

Sorry about that whole blabbering, I hope you liked this!

If you want a 2nd book, don't hesitate to comment!

See you next time in my stories!

Luv,

hanni~
