No one's POV:

You walked into the living room where most of the class was sitting around on the couch or the floor watching 'Home alone'.

"I made hot chocolate!" you called, balancing two trays, ladened with the hot beverage, on each arm.

"Yay! Thank you, Y/N!!" said Mina, jumping up from her spot next to Kirishima.

"No problem! There's one cup for every body and some mini marshmallows on the counter for whoever wants to add some."

"You're the best, Y/N!" exclaimed Sero, adding a few handfuls of marshmallows into his drink.

"Really guys, it was no problem!" you smiled handing out mugs.

Asui made to grab the one with a straw but you stopped her, politely explaining:

"Uh, sorry, Asui, but that one's for Tokoyami. I put a straw in his 'cause I thought that it might be hard for him to drink from the mug with his beak."

"Oh, okay, sorry, ribbit. I didn't know."

"It's okay! There's more straws in the top drawer if you want one."

You looked around and spotted Tokoyami. He was lingering at the back, patiently waiting for his hot cocoa.

You carefully made your way through the small crowd and gave it to him.

"Here, Tokoyami, yours has a straw. I thought it might make it easier to drink."

"Thank you." he replied quietly, accepting the offered drink.

His heart rate sped up a little as you smiled at him. You were always so kind and thoughtful to him, making adjustments for him, Shoji and the others with odd body parts. You never forgot the small things like needing a straw or two extra pairs of gloves.

Once everyone had received their drinks, they settled down and resumed their Christmas movie marathon.

Tokoyami's thoughts lingered on the h/c girl as he sipped his hot chocolate.

"Merry Christmas, everyone!!!" you called to the sleepy classmates filing into the common room as you helped Sato prepare a Christmas breakfast of pancakes and fresh fruit for the whole class.

"Merry Christmas." some of them said back.

"After we eat, we can exchange presents!" you exclaimed happily, setting a carton of milk and pitcher of orange juice on the table.

Some of your classmates couldn't help but smile. Your cheerfulness was contagious and it was Christmas after all.

Soon breakfast was ready and the whole class was sitting around the table. You had had to knock on Bakugo's door for 3 minutes before he finally agreed to come out.

"Thank you for the food!" said everyone, before digging into the pancakes and talking about what they had planned for the holidays.

As soon as the last plate was cleared, you jumped up and ran to get the presents.

Of course, you had something for everyone.

You handed out all the presents with a smile and a 'Merry Christmas', receiving gifts from most of them in return.

"Sweet, Crocs!!" exclaimed Kirishima as he unwrapped his gift.

"How did you know I wanted this!"

"I love them so much!"

"This is perfect for me!"

"Y/N, you're so thoughtful!"

You smiled as all your friends opened their presents.

"Glad you like them!"

You handed Tokoyami his present, along with a card, with a bright smile.

"I hope you like it. I couldn't think of what to get you, so I made you something."

Tokoyami opened his gift to reveal, not one, but two knitted caps. They were dark shades of blue and purple and specially made to fit the shape of his head.

"Thank you very much, Y/N. But why is there two?"

"One for you and one for Dark Shadow!" you beamed.

You really did think of everything.

Suddenly Dark Shadow appeared, coming out of Tokoyami's chest. Tokoyami smiled as he put one of the hats on Dark Shadow's head.

Dark Shadow squawked happily.

Tokoyami put on his own hat. Thankfully, it fit like a glove.

"Thanks again, Y/N. And Dark Shadow says thank you as well."

The bird like creature nodded in agreement.

"Glad you like it!"

Tokoyami nervously pulled out an envelope.

"This is my present to you." he said anxiously.

"Aw, thank you so much! You didn't have to get me anything!"

You made to open it but he stopped you.

"Please read it in private. If that's okay with you." he added

"Of course!" you grinned again before leaving to give out a few more gifts.

You wondered what could be inside that envelope that Tokoyami didn't want other people to see, but soon forgot about as you started unwrapping one of your many presents.

"Aw, Mina, thank you much!!" you exclaimed, opening her gift, which turned out to be a stuffed f/a (fav animal).

"No problem, girl!! And thank you so much for these shoes! They fit perfectly!"

"Really? That's great!"

Tokoyami kept glancing nervously at you while you helped decorate the christmas tree. Suddenly you remembered the envelope, which still sat unopened in your pocket.

You had been too busy preparing for that night's Christmas party to get a chance to open it.

"Hey, Y/N, we can handle it from here. Thanks for all the help!" said Kirishima.

"No problem! Are you sure you don't want me to help with the cleaning?" you offered

"No thanks, you've done more than enough!" he answered with a sharp toothed grin.

You reluctantly went back to your dorm room. You loved to help people. When others were happy, you were happy. But Kirishima was right. Maybe you did need a little break.

You plopped onto your bed and pulled out Tokoyami's letter:

Dearest Y/N,

You are the sunshine in my life. You bring color to my grey world. Every morning I wake up thinking of you and every night my last thought is of you before I drift off to sleep. You're smile makes my heart flutter like a bird in a clear sky.

This Christmas I offer you the most precious thing I own- my heart.

What you do with it is a decision I leave to you.

I love you and always will.

(Yes I know it's cringey, but I'm not a poet, ok??)

You stared blankly at the confession, face turning red and heart hammering. You had known Tokoyami had a way with words but this was downright poetry.

You squirmed with embarrassment when you remembered what you had written in his Christmas card: Merry Christmas! Have a happy holiday and many good years to come! I hope you have a fun revelry in the dark ;) .

But now that you knew he felt the same you had to do something about it.

You were nice to everyone. You were easygoing and loved to make people smile. But whenever you managed to make Tokoyami smile it made your heart flutter. You managed to hide it fairly well but thoughts of him often plagued your mind.

You were currently enjoying yourself at the Class 1-A Christmas party but you were distracted and nervous about what you were planning to do after the party had died down.

Soon Eri and Aizawa entered.

"Eri!!" you called happily, running over to the little girl and scooping her up in a hug.

"Y/N-chan! Merry Christmas!" she said cheerfully.

"Merry Christmas!"

Eri ran off to wish Midoriya a merry Christmas. You straightened up and walked over to Mina to help her set up the food and gift pull.

You laughed along with the others as you watched Eri pull a giant sword out of the gift pile. You glanced automatically at Tokoyami who had the ends of his beak lifted up in an amused grin.

Cute, You thought.

Before you knew it the party was over and soon your classmates started leaving the common room for bed.

You promised your friends that you would finish cleaning up by yourself and encouraged them to go to bed.

They agreed and started leaving, but before he could you grabbed Tokoyami's wrist.

"I was... um... wondering if I could talk to you about... your Christmas present..." you said nervously, cheeks dusted with pink.

He nodded, turning red underneath his feathers and stayed behind.

"Good night, Y/N!"

"Good night, guys!" you called back.

Now it was just you and Tokoyami.

"So... What is it you wanted to talk about?" he asked anxiously.

"I just wanted to let you know" you started "that I accept, and return, your gift."

His face lit up and you couldn't help but wrap your arms around him. He returned the hug.

You held each other for a minute before he whispered:

"I love you."

"I love you, too."
