Your POV

I watched with a smirk on my face as two of my best friends blushed and complemented each other. Their feelings for each other could not be more obvious, so I couldn't understand why they just didn't confess already.

I sighed, knowing I had to take action.

"Hey, guys." I said to Midoriya and Uraraka "Do you guys want to hang out later. We can invite Iida too. I was thinking we could go check out that new Karaoke place near the park."

"That's a great idea, Y/N!" agreed Uraraka.

"Yeah, we haven't really had time to hang out much recently." added Midoriya.

"Hey, Iida!" I called to my tall, blue-haired friend.

"How may I help you?" he asked, walking stiffly over to where I was sitting. "And must I remind you, L/N, that the desks are not for sitting on. It is disrespectful to abuse the craftsmanship of the upperclassmen who built the desk."

"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out with us at that new Karaoke place after school?" I explained, ignoring the part about not sitting on desks.

"I would love to. Thank you for the invitation."

"Great, it's a plan!" I clapped my hands together. "How about... 5 o'clock?"

"Sounds good!" said Uraraka.

"See you there!"

I walked through the front door of my house and dropped my backpack on the floor next to me.

"I'm home!" I called, kicking off my shoes.

"How was school, honey?" asked my mom, appearing at the doorway to the kitchen.

"Good." I said running up the stairs to my room.

"What's the rush?" she asked confusedly.

"I've got a mission."

"And what would that be?" she chuckled.

"I'm calling it 'Operation IzuOcha'."

I walked into my room, closed the door behind me and began planning.

"Strange child..." muttered my mom.

I took my phone out of my pocket and texted all my friends separate instead of in the group chat.

I smiled as I put my phone away and picked out a casual outfit.

Soon it was time to leave. I grabbed my purse and started heading towards the meet up point.

I walked towards the entrance of the park to see my friends all waiting for me. They looked confused as they looked from their phones, to their outfits, to each other.

Iida was indeed wearing jeans and a white t-shirt, while Midoriya and Uraraka had opted for something more stylish.

Midoriya had on a green button up shirt and black jeans, while Uraraka was wearing a flowy simple pink dress, which she paired with sandals and pearl earrings.

I was wearing grey sweatpants and a f/c hoodie.

"L/N, it has come to our attention that you have told each of us to dress differently for the occasion." said Iida as he approached me.

"Oops." I snickered "I could have sworn I told everyone to dress casual. Guess I got mixed up."

Midoriya's and Uraraka's faces turned pink.

"Hey Midoriya." I turned towards the greenette "Doesn't Uraraka look cute today?"

He blushed even more and stuttered:

"Y-yes, she d-d-does..."

Uraraka turned red at that and stuttered a 'thank you'.

Iida looked at me and seemed to realize what I was doing. I winked at him and spoke to everyone:

"Well, let's get going then, shall we?"

They nodded and we started walking towards the karaoke place.

Once we entered the mostly empty establishment, I motioned for Iida to fall back a little.

I slowed down and we allowed Uraraka and Midoriya to get ahead.

"What can I get for this lovely young couple today?" asked the woman behind the desk with a polite smile.

Uraraka and Midoriya imidiatly started clarifying that they weren't together (yet).

Midoriya looked around until he spotted Iida and me hanging back, the latter with a mischievous grin.

I walked up and asked for a booth for four.

As the lady showed us to our booth, I walked in between Uraraka and Midoriya and whispered:

"Aren't you two a lovely couple."

I smirked as I walked into the booth, leaving two very red-faced classmates in my wake.

I sat next to Iida, leaving the two other seats for Uraraka and Midoriya to sit next to each other.

"Alright, let's all pick out our songs and get started!"

I scrolled through the list of songs until I found one I liked: The Duck Song.

Midoriya was searching frantically for a song, looking flustered at the idea of singing in front of people.

I leaned towards him and looked at his list of songs.

"I don't know what to pick!" he said nervously to me.

"Hmm... Oh, I have an idea! You could pick a song about friendship and dedicate it to Uraraka! You know, since she was your first friend at UA and everything. I bet she would love that!"

"I guess... " he mumbled, looking even more anxious.

"Let's see... How about... "I'll be there for you"!

"Sure..."

"Great!"

Little did he know that that was not the song I had in mind for him.

"Okay, who wants to go first?" I addressed the group

"I will!" volunteered Iida, raising his hand.

This is going to be interesting I thought.

If who haven't watched 'Tomo-chan is a girl' then you can play the video at the top of the chapter now. Tomo's singing (the last one) is what I imagine Iida's was like.

I held back a laugh as I applauded along with the others. Iida took a stiff bow before sitting back down.

"Who's next?" I asked "Uraraka?"

"Sure, why not?" she stood up nervously as her song began playing.

It was "I feel better when I'm dancing" by Megan Trainor. Uraraka actually had a beautiful voice.

I looked over to see Midoriya who was watching her with a dazed look on his face. He snapped out of it as the song came to an end and clapped harder that anyone.

I smiled as I clapped too. Uraraka smiled shyly as she sat back down.

"My turn!" I called, jumping up.

"The duck walked up to the lemonade stand and he said to the man running the stand: Hey! (bam, bam, bam) Got any grapes?"

The others laughed as I did a little dance and sang the silly song. I did an overdramatic bow as they clapped and chuckled at my performance. I sat back down and Midoriya stood up, looking extremely nervous.

I gave him and encouraging nod and he said:

"Um... T-this s-song is dedicated to U-uraraka..." he announced anxiously waiting for the song to begin. Uraraka turned pink but looked intrigued.

I sneakily slid over to his seat and switched his songs.

Midoriya looked confusedly around as 'Dandelions' started playing.

He met my gaze as he realized what song this was I winked at him. He turned red but overcame his fear and began singing.

He stuttered through the first lines, looking at the ground, but when the chorus started, he took a deep breath and looked straight at Uraraka.

"And I've heard of a love that comes once in a lifetiiime. And I'm pretty sure that you are that love of miiiine.
'Cause, I'm in a field of dandelions, wishing on every one that you would me mi-i-i-i-ne, oh, mi-i-i-i-ne and I see forever in your eyes, I feel okay when I see you smi-i-i-i-le, oh, smi-i-i-i-le..."

I had to admit, he was a pretty good singer. His, along with Uraraka's, face was bright red the whole time, but the important thing was that he got the message across.

As soon as the song ended, he sat down quickly, looking at the ground, blushing like crazy.

Me and Iida applauded enthusiastically but Uraraka was too stunned to move.

After a while of mostly me and Iida chatting and Uraraka and Midoriya sitting silently, (and me getting a few accusing glares from the blushing greenette), we stood up to leave.

After paying and leaving the building, I gave Iida a meaningful look and we both sped up a little.

Once I deemed it safe, I glanced back at my other to best friends.

With a satisfied grin, I noticed that their hands were linked.
