Last part!🐸⚔️🐌
Um I guess this is in an AU where Hawks didn't pretend to join the LOV bc that wouldn't really make sense in this oneshot. Enjoy<3

Your POV:
I kicked the pro hero Gunhead's head and dodged a punch he sent my way. I could hear the sound of the nearing police cars and knew I had to finish this quickly.
Just then, my phone started ringing. I checked it and was surprised to see who was calling me- an unknown number.
"Um, hello?" I said into the phone, blocking a punch from Gunhead.
"Heya, Y/N." came Hawks' familiar voice from the speaker "You free today?"
Oh yeah, I did give him my number, didn't I? But why was he calling me now? Wasn't he at work? Didn't he think I was at work?
"Uh, I think so, why?" I asked, ducking as Gunhead's foot swung over my head.
"Is it so bad for a hero to want to see his biggest fan every once in a while." said Hawks "To be honest, you were actually pretty fun to talk to the other day at the restaurant."
"Wait, so, like, you want to meet up with me?" I asked, and in my shock I wasn't able to dodge the punch Gunhead sent to my stomach. I grunted and gripped my middle with the hand not holding the phone.
"Yeah... Um, are you ok?? You sound like you just got punched in the gut lol."
"Haha, yeah, I'm fine. Just....um...cramps." I wheezed, kicking Gunhead in the chest to avenge my bruised stomach.
"Oooh." Hawks said in realization "Well, if you're not feeling well we can meet up a different ti-"
"No, I'm ok!" I assured him through gritted teeth "What time were you thinking? And where?"
"Well there's this cafe on the east side of town and I was thinking we could meet during my lunch bre- is that a siren!?"
Sure enough, the police had caught up with me. I cursed under my breath and started running away down an alley.
"Um, yeah, there was a...um..." I tried to think of something fast "fire at the place I work!"
"Wait really? That would explain why you're running... You work at a grocery store, right? Is everyone ok? Are you ok?" asked Hawks.
"Yeah, everyone is fine." I said between heavy breaths. Once I deemed it safe, I looked back and that I wasn't being followed. I sighed and sat down on the ground in a small dark alleyway.
"You sound pretty busy, I should probably let you go know." said Hawks "See you later!"
"See ya."
He hung up and I slipped my phone back into my pocket.
That was a close one! I thought, grateful that Hawks had bought my excuse.
I looked forward to meeting up with him. I could get some valuable information from him, regarding the mission I was on for the League Of Villains.
But deep down, I had a lurking suspicion that that wasn't the only reason I wanted to see Hawks...

I wore casual, but nice, clothes to the café me and Hawks were scheduled to meet at.
Once I arrived, I looked around and instantly saw him- he was hard to miss with those big bright red wings of his.
He noticed me approaching at waved. I waved back and walked up to him.
"You look nice." Hawks said with an easy smile.
I rolled my eyes but felt my face get warmer.
"Do you complement all your fans?" I asked.
"Nope." he said, opening the door to the cafe for me "Just my favorite."
I laughed but couldn't help but notice he said 'favorite' and not 'favorites'.
We entered the busy establishment and sat down at a table for two.
After a minute, a waiter came over and took our orders. While you waited for your (f/d) and coffee, Hawks started up a conversation.
"So, you gotta quirk?" he asked curiously.
Crap, why does he always ask the worst questions!?
"I do, but it's really lame." I told him "Basically, my hands glow."
I lifted my hand and activated my quirk, but just barely, so that it glowed and not flashed. If I showed him the full extent of my quirk, he'd instantly know who I was.
"That's nifty." he grinned "Especially if you're afraid of the dark."
"I'm not afraid of the dark!" I defended.
"Want to know what my quirk is?" he asked.
"Sure!" I answered.
He laughed and I watched in confusion. It took a minute of hard thinking before I finally realized.
"I did it again, didn't I?" I groaned with a facepalm "I'm so stupid..."
First I ask him what his job is, then I ask him what his quirk is. He probably thinks I'm such an idiot.
Hawks laughed and, as if to spite me for forgetting, stretched out his big red wings.
"I'm sorry, but you can be such an airhead sometimes." he chuckled "But that's one of the things I love about you~"
I felt my face light up, but before I could think of a comeback, our drinks arrived.
"Here you go, Hawks!" the waitress winked at him as she set his coffee on the table.
"Here." she said, glaring at me as she passed me my drink.
Once she left I leaned towards Hawks and asked him quietly:
"What was that about?"
"I think she's jealous of you." he shrugged "Not everyone gets to go on a date with Japan's number two hero."
"This isn't a date!" I spluttered.
"If you think about it, it kind of is." he said, taking a slow sip from his cup.
I paused, thinking about what he had said. A guy and a girl going to a café alone together- HOLY COW THIS WAS A DATE!
"You didn't say this was a date!" I whispered angrily at him "If this was a date, you should have asked me to go out with you, but what you said was 'do you want to meet up?'!"
"You know, I would have thought my biggest fan would be honored to go out with me." he said with one eyebrow raised.
"I, um...well..." I said, unable to find an excuse.
Hawks smirked.
"If I had said 'Will you go out with me?', what would you have said?" he asked, watching me curiously.
"Uh..." my face flushed as I thought of an answer.
Would I have said yes? If yes, would the reason be because of the mission, or because I wanted to?
I nodded, not meeting his golden eyes. I didn't look at him, but I just knew he was smirking.

"Well, Y/N, it's been a pleasure going out with you." smiled Hawks some time later.
"You too, Hawks." I said.
"How many times do I have to tell you to call me Keigo." he groaned.
As we stood up, an idea crossed my mind. This whole day I had been dreading the thought of blinding him for the LOV's attack the following night. I knew I was a villain, but I had somehow managed to get attached to one of my targets.
What I was about to do would be betraying my fellow League members and friends, but I knew I couldn't live with myself if I didn't.
"Um, Keigo." I said nervously, looking around to make sure nobody could hear us.
"Yeah?"
"What I'm about to tell you is true and I need you trust me, ok?" I said quickly.
"Ok..." said Keigo, sounding slightly worried by my serious tone.
"Please don't ask me how I know this, but tomorrow night, the League Of Villains is planning on attacking you. Please be careful." I told him.
"Of course." he said "Thanks for telling me,
Y/N."
We parted ways on that ominous note. I couldn't believe what I'd just done but I knew it was for the best.
~•~❤️~•~the next evening
I was sitting on the roof of a tall apartment building, listening to the sounds of the night. Since I'd betrayed the LOV and become a solo villain, I haven't had time to find myself a new home/hideout yet.
I'd heard that the League's attack had failed, thanks to me. I had warned Hawks instead of blinding him, thus making me an enemy to the League. But I didn't regret a thing.
I heard a swish of wind, but didn't look behind me, thinking I was just hearing things.
"Ah, there you are. I've been looking for you."
I whipped my head around saw none other that Keigo walking towards me.
"Why were you looking for me?" I asked.
"I wanted to thank you. I won't ask questions, but you probably got yourself into a lot of trouble by telling me what you did. I really owe you one." he said, walking over to the edge of the building and sitting down next to me.
I nodded but didn't say anything. He was right, I had sacrificed a lot for him.
"I come up here to think sometimes." he said after a minute.
"What are you thinking about?" I asked, watching cars drive down the streets below us.
"You."
I turned to look and him and he did the same. He had a confident smile on his face, while I was grateful for the dim light so he couldn't see how red mine probably was.
"What about me?" I wondered.
"Lots of things." he shrugged "About your smile, your airheadedness, your personality."
I smiled at the second one, but couldn't ignore the other ones.
For some reason, my eyes darted towards his lips. I blushed and started to look away, but a hand reached up to my face and made me look back at him.
My heart was pounding. Was he about to...?
"This is for saving me." he whispered.
He leaned forward and I did the same. Our lips connected and I melted into the kiss.
Betraying the League was definitely worth it, I decided with a smile.
