"It was over.

Izuku stared down at All for One waiting for the dust to clear around them to confirm what he already knew. The man was dead and... his quirk was gone.

He was once again quirkless.

The former users poured all they had left into his final Detroit Smash. That was it... he no longer was a hero.

      "'Izuku..."'

He slowly turned to the gruff voice he's known all his life. The one person he just became friends with again. The one person he's looked up to above anything else.

Katsuki stared at him with a bewildered look. "'Izuku..."' He tried again.

      "'D-don't h-hate me again... K-Kacchan."' Right as the words left his lips, his body swayed to the side and he crumbled to the ground. For the first time in his life, he welcomed the darkness because he already knew what was coming."
