"Nora? It's past curfew, you should be asleep."

Aizawa walked back over to her in the common area, watching her go through papers.

"Sorry Mr. Aizawa! It's just, with the internships coming up again and with our hero licences, we need to be more focused! And.... I can't just go to Endeavor's agency again, so...."

Aizawa sat next to her, looking at her options.

"I think this one might do." He said pointing out a name at the top of one of the papers.

She picked up the paper, staring at the name.

"Coralcane's agency? Don't she and my brother have issues?" She questioned

Aizawa nodded before responding "Yes, but she's never properly met you before. She's also mature enough to ignore an old grudge to help you become a better hero. Give it a go."

"THE NUMBER 14 HERO CORALCANE!!!!" Midoriya shouted, excitement and shock in his voice.

Upon hearing the news, the students around her crowded.

"The number 14 huh? You'll probably just spiral out of control again and die!" Bakugo mocked her.

"Oh really? At least when I came back from my work study I didn't come back looking like I was related to Best Jeanist." Nora retorted.

Some of the other students snickered, causing Bakugo to glare at them, his hands crackling with explosions.

She smirked, before turning to them to say "I know she has past issues with my brother, but come on! He's only been active for a month or so, and he's already made rank 30 in popularity!"

"It's not just her, Hawks doesn't like him either." Sero pointed out.

She looks up at the ceiling, before saying "Yeah, well Horoki's doing better. I just hope that he doesn't mess it up the second time around."

*Later*

A few days later, Nora arrived at the front door to Coralcane's agency. The glass was neon tinted all over in various shades of pink and purple, a decent few stories high, and the front door had a jellyfish painted on.

'Well, she sure wants villains to try their luck.' She thought.

She walked inside to reception and heard an explosion. She looked to her right to see a woman with bright orange hair, a white lab coat, black high heels, and red glasses on.

Her bright orange eyes locked onto her and she said "Oh! You must be Nora Bakers! Quirk: Interlock! Hero name: Threadella! My name is Venus Angovo! But here you just call me Snapper!"

'So energetic!' Nora thought.

The woman known as Snapper then had a realization, and started pulling her shoulders towards the elevator.

She pushed a button and said "Once we're at the top floor, we can see Coralcane! Aren't you as excited as I am! The boss usually has me down in the lab since I'm so resilient, but I guess she really trust me!"

Once they got to the top floor, Snapper said "I gotta head back down, but good luck!"

The law elevator closed and, Nora said with relief "Lord she has too much energy for me...."

She walked into the office to see Coralcane waiting for her.

The jellyfish hero smiled at her, before saying "Welcome to my agency!"

The two went outside in their hero outfits, Coralcane stretching.

"As you may know, my agency specializes in rescue, and combat situations. However your quirk's already good for both of those. So today we'll be working on something less talked about.... Instinct."

"Huh?" Nora questioned.

"While you train your skills all the time, there will be some days when we may have to fight without a quirk to back us up! So come at me with everything you've got!"

Without another word, she sent her chains out, them wrapping around her arms.

"Restraining my arms, clever!" Coralcane complimented.

She then saw a pink squishy substance form on the edges of her arms where the chains didn't reach, and a satisfying *pop* was heard. She landed on the ground armless, the limbs crawling out of her hold, quickly crawling towards Nora.

She immediately got freaked out, backing up.

"Oh I can not un-see that!" She said sending out threads to grab them.

Meanwhile the same squishy stuff covered the part where you would normally see blood or bone.

"Your arms!" Nora gasped.

She smiled at her, saying "Just give it a few minutes, my jellyfish quirk does that sometimes. I can't really control it, but it's really useful for getting out of a bind!"

Nora breathed out before saying "You're clearly experienced at this, since you talk about it like it's no big deal."

She nodded and said "It's just natural for jellyfish. The stinging, the beautiful colors, the look but don't touch rule! They rely completely off of instinct to get through life!"

Her arms then grew back, darkening in color, looking as if nothing had ever happened.

Coralcane looked up and said "Let's go on patrol!"

The two went out and started to walk around for a while, occasionally stopping to say hi to fans.

"It's weird, most heroes wouldn't be this calm when doing patrol." Nora commented.

Coralcane turned to her, but before saying anything, her expression turned serious and she ran off. Nora followed behind the hero, seeing her make a sharp turn. When she came around the corner, she saw her with a villain pinned down.

"Make something thick, we gotta tie this guy up!" Coralcane ordered.

She followed her order and wrapped up the villain. The two then walk off again, continuing patrol. She went back to her cheery persona until she got a message from one of her sidekicks. She took off running, Nora firing after her.

'She's so fast!' Nora thought, trying to catch up.

Once she got there, the villains were already apprehended.

Coralcane walked back over, and said "As you can see, this isn't just a class. If you mess up here, it isn't your grades, but a persons life at risk!" She strapped on her goggles and said "By the time we're done here, I expect to have the quickest responses, able to instantly use your quirk to save lives! Let's see how many villains you can capture before I do!"

She took off running again looking back to see Nora chasing after her. Nora then used her chains to catch up, and eventually got next to her. She was about to comment on her success, when she ran into a pole. Coralcane stopped, walking over to her.

".... For someone who says they aren't like their brother, you sure do act like him."

Nora glared at her and said "How?! I've done everything you-"

"That's exactly my point!" Coralcane cut off.

She stopped speaking to let the hero continue.

"Your brother got too full of himself when it mattered! He couldn't see where to improve, and thought if he just followed orders everything would work out! Now, he's made so many mistakes, but still choses to try and make amends for them! So, stop whining like a spoiled little kid,"

She helped her up and said "And go Plus Ultra already! Now, let's get back to it!"
