"Katsuki.... Come out Katsuki!" Nora sang skipping through the halls.

The students were given a free day, and they decided to go back to the place they did the hero and villain training a few months ago. They decided to practice stealth. We all know where this is going.

Bakugo was hiding behind a pillar, reaching for the pin of his gauntlet. He aimed it at Nora, her not even noticing it. She heard the click and turned around to be met with the explosive power of Bakugo's quirk.

"How you like that, Hakimichi?!"

He didn't get a response and readied himself.

This is when he suddenly lost all control of his body.

"Not this shit again!"

He looked up to see Nora playing with little threads.

"Special move: Wired Puppet!" She announced, making him dance.

The other students all came out and laughed at the spiky haired blondes predicament.

Bakugo then started break dancing and he said "Make it stop!"

She giggled whilst removing the threads.

Aizawa then walked over and said "Sorry to intrude, but it's about Horoki. He's been.... Hospitalized."

What was once laughter became dead silence and concern.

"What happened to my brother?!" Nora demanded.

He closed his eyes and said "He wants to see all of you."

Once the students arrived, they looked to see Endeavor waiting for them.

His sidekicks placed down a box and he said "That'll be all."

He gestured for them to follow him, and they arrived at a large hospital room, a pane of glass separating them from Horoki.

"Why's he in-"

Nora's breath hitched as she saw his once proud wings, now little stubs on his back. Hakimichi's big brother sense activated and he walked towards the glass.

He pushed a button so he could talk to them and said "Hey guys! How's it going?"

He had a wide smile on his face as if his wings hadn't been cut off.

Midoriya went first, saying "Hakimichi, are you okay?! We all heard about what happened, and...."

He smiled and said "Don't worry about it! Yeah, I can't fly, but it's just a speed bump!"

Iida went next asking "Why are you in this room, it doesn't seem very friendly."

He sighed and said "How to put this.... Think of how Todoroki's quirk works. He shoots out fire and ice at will, never getting stuck. The inside of my body is freezing cold, and my wings helped to regulate that cold so I didn't freeze or burn to death! But, now that they're gone, the heat in here is keeping me stable!"

Nora looked at him and said "What about your quirk, can't you just-"

His smile faded and he said "Nora, the only flame I can make without it pulling too much heat from my body is this."

He created a small black flame on his finger tip, bouncing it up and down.

"Black fire is the coldest, so I can only manage this at the moment. Right now Endeavor's looking for a solution. Just trust him!"

Endeavor nodded and walked into his chamber. He took the box with him, setting it down in front of him.

"What's in the box?" He asked.

Endeavor sighed heavily and said "Your final lesson."

Horoki's eyes widened and he said "What?! I can't even fly! Why would you still want to work with me?!"

Endeavor opened the box and placed nine large jars full of ash on a counter top.

"You want to fly again, don't you?" He questioned. He pointed to one of the jars and said "Touch it."

He looked at him like he was just asked to kiss a snake.

".... Endeavor, are you high on something?"

"Just trust me."

He walked over, poking on of the jars. He immediately recoiled his hand in shock as it sparked.

"What the?!"

Endeavor smiled and said "I did some research on your quirk. Phoenix's are often associated with volcanoes and fiery areas, so I did some digging into your family history. Someone in your family had a quirk that involved the ability to heal wounds and fight using volcanic energy."

Horoki looked at him and Endeavor said "Ever heard of how a phoenix is created?"

He snapped his fingers and a large fire designed coffin was slid into the room.

Horoki and the students all stared at it, and he said "Ha ha, very funny. You honestly can't be serious."

Endeavor nodded and started pouring ash into the coffin.

"Oh lord you weren't kidding! Okay, hold on, you're literally are gonna put me in a coffin?!"

Horoki sighed and said "This better work, Endeavor!"

Endeavor went to meet hawks, ready to hear what he has to say. Hawks spoke, and Endeavor responded. Hawks then looked to the side to see something.

"Is everything all right?" A woman asked them.

"Get back!"

The glass pane shattered, the hero using his flames to punch whatever it was back. He looked forward to see a Nomu, this one with wings.

*Where Horoki is*

At the hospital, Horoki room began heating up incredibly fast. Doctors and nurses scrambled to his room. Inside his coffin, his eyes shot open, white flames licking the edges.

*At the fight*

"Shoot, my feathers won't last!" Hawks said as Endeavor rose with the nomu. 'Crap!' He thought once the feathers burned up.

On both of their earpieces, a voice said "Somethings heading towards you!"

To their surprise, what would best be described as a white blazing comet sped past hawks, jet-like parts blasting it at high speed. It turned upward, heading towards Endeavor.

He felt hands press his back, pushing him higher, he looked down to see fiery white hair and eyes pushing him up, wings with rocket boosters on them lifting.

"Horoki!"

He smiled and said "You saved me, it's only fair if I return the favour!"

He sent him up higher, Hawks feathers releasing them to head back towards said hero.

"I really hate this phrase but...."

He lifted the nomu higher saying:

"PLUS ULTRA: PROMINENCE BURN!"

The flames were so intense Horoki had to shield his eyes from the light. He cooled down and stopped glowing, his wings going back to their original fiery color. He landed next to Hawks, letting his body temp cool down.

Hawks patted him on the back and said "Nice job Falcon, you actually might be cool now."

He looked down to see Endeavor with his fist raised high, standing up.

Hawks and Horoki flew down and Endeavor said "Your wings...!"

He smiled and said "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I caused some damage from my exit from the hospital.... And is anyone else hungry or is it just me?"

A grey goop formed ahead of them and Shigaraki appeared.

"Hello heroes."

"Shigaraki of the league!" Endeavor said trying to stand, only to fall to a knee.

"Stay down, your already injured!" Horoki said to him.

"I just want the nomu. This doesn't have to get bloody." Shigaraki said to them. He smiled widely and a ring of fire surrounded them.

"You bastard!"

Tomura ducked, avoiding a kick from Mirko. The bunny hero crouched, acting as a stepping stone for Coralcane to land a punch on the villain.

He backed up and said "Fine then. I'll be taking my leave. Just remember not to die yet, ENDEAVOR!"

Mirko jumped at him saying "Tell us where your friends are!" He teleported away and she said "Damn it!"

Coralcane ran up to them and said "Are you guys okay?!"

She ignored the other two and hugged Horoki.

"Ow! Easy on the death grip, my wings are still sensitive!"

She glared at him saying "Shut up!"

He returned it in a playful manner and said "Make me Coral-"

She kissed him, shutting the phoenix hero up.

"Um.... Hey lovebirds." Hawks said making them turn away from each other.

"Ha- what's up Hawks!" Horoki said quickly.

"If you were hoping to keep your relationship a secret...."

He tracked his eyes and turned around to see multiple cameras and civilians.

".... Ah-"

".... Wanna go to that restaurant near the agency?" Endeavor offered.

".... Why the hell not?"
