Hello and welcome to our one-shot book! This book is co-authored by myself and Rosebud(@SKZtrash27) and includes our own OC's, whose profiles are included below. We are also working on separate novels that follow the points of view of our characters as they navigate their ways through life as young up-and-coming heroes. This book may soon be available on Rosebud's profile, but that's her decision to make. We will also take requests from readers, and while we will do our best to get them written as soon as possible, please keep in mind that we are still students and may not have as much time as we like. That being said we will still try to update consistently and see that requests are heard. With that out of the way, thank you for reading and we hope you enjoy our stories.

-Overview: Rei was born quirkless. He was due at the beginning of June, but complications led to him coming three weeks early. This is also one speculation as to why he developed asthma.

~Naomi means "beautiful, honest self"

~Enji was observing during entrance exams to watch Shouto, and after seeing the strength of her quirk in action he has pursued Naomi as a potential suitor for his son

~Naomi has a very rocky relationship with her oldest brother, Haruko. He pushes her incredibly hard when it comes to training with her quirk, practically isolating her in most of the free time she has to practice, saying she has the strength to take it because she's the strongest of their siblings. Despite the tension between them, Haruko still makes an effort to be the best brother he can.

~Grew up with Izuku, Katsuki, and Risu before she moved to America

~Naomi was extremely close with her younger brother, Rei. When she first saw him the day he was born, she swore that she would always protect him, no matter what. Like Izuku, he was born quirkless but had a great love for heroes. She always encouraged him that he could become one, and would even play-fight with him as if in combat. Unfortunately, Rei was diagnosed with asthma, which would prevent him from pursuing his dream due to the medical complications it would cause. That day Naomi reiterated her promise and said she would be Rei's hero, the strongest he'd ever seen. He is what fuels her drive to be a hero.

~Risu is Naomi's rock. They've been friends since their early childhood, and Risu always knows how to make Naomi feel better. Even though they couldn't talk as much due to the time difference when Risu moved to America, they still did the best they could.  Risu is like the sister Naomi never got to have. And she counts herself lucky to have her.

~Being in similar situations, Shouto and Naomi are close friends, confiding in and comforting each other about their experiences

~Can be very hostile if woken up. Many have tried, yet few have lived to tell the tale

~Despite how inseparable they appear, it took Risu the better part of a year to get half as close to Naomi as she is

~Living up to the kanji in her name, Naomi is severely blunt and brutally honest most of the time

~Naomi did her best to distance herself from most of the people in their class, but they are very persistent and eventually grow on her, except for rat-child

~Shares a passion for anything Marvel with Rei and has currently collected almost every movie and Funko Pop figurine from the franchise

~Music is her escape from everything. It's one of the few things tethering her to reality. She listens to several foreign bands, typically korean or american, as Risu taught her english during what communication they had while she was in the US.

~She and Hitoshi are more like siblings rather than cousins, with similar quirks and demeanors, though Naomi is a bit more amplified and has a stronger power

~Naomi has no filter. She curses constantly, though she knows to try to restrict her language when in specific situations and around certain people.

~Naomi has a talent that she's very proud of. She does voice impressions. She'd always liked imitating Katsuki since they were kids, but as she got new classmates through junior high, she started doing more voices to imitate more people. She has practiced so much that sometimes if she talks in a certain voice, classmates can't tell who said it, which has given Izuku quite a few scares.

~She absolutely despises Enji. He harasses her constantly about being set up with Shouto, even though he's gay, though Enji doesn't know for obvious reasons(for now). She learned some curses in spanish, which no one at UA speaks, just so she could insult him to his face during school without anyone knowing what she's saying. Her insult of choice is punta fuego.

~Naomi is pansexual. She is surprisingly very open about her sexuality, with only one classmate giving her slight backlash for it. She also has a massive crush on Tsuyu. She gets all blushy and flustered around her, it's honestly tragic  :(.

~Wields a bo-staff as part of her training to give her more of an edge in combat

~Not wanting Shouto to have to go it alone, she decided to do her internships with him under Endeavor. She knows about what went down in Hosu City, though she hung back with Endeavor when Shouto left to help Izuku.

~ Plastic bags take 1000 years to break down, Naomi takes just one cup of coffee, and a minor inconvenience

~By some miracle, Makao met this very nice girl in his forensic psychology class and they started dating. The first time he brought her home to meet his family, Rin and Tetsuya suggested that she spend some time with Naomi while they talked with Makao. Naomi has several posters in her room and the first one you see when you open the door is one of Sebastian Michaelis with his hand covering his face, contract seal on full display. Makao's girlfriend, who had never watched Black Butler, was alarmed. She turned cautiously to Naomi and asked her if she was a satanist.

~Something many people don't know about Naomi, she has two weekend jobs. She works two weekends each month, Saturdays at a comic book store and Sundays at a small diner. She got tired of asking her parents or her brothers for money so she decided to get it herself.

~Naomi has a really weird allergy. She's allergic to aloe vera, but only if she ingests it. She and her family found this out when she was 11 and asked to try some of her mom's aloe vera water while they were headed to the store. She liked it very much so they bought her a bottle why they were shopping. It wasn't until they were on their way home they realized she was struggling to breathe and was close to collapsing due to her blood sugar levels dropping so severely. Rei had asked Rin if "Oneechan needs to borrow my inhaler so she stops wheezing". Fun times.

~She often wishes that her quirk still worked on Risu. Most would think it's purely for selfish reasons, and while that is partially correct, one of her main motives is to see if there is a way to compel her friend to remember deep parts of her childhood so she can relive some of her happiest times.

~Naomi has a lot of respect for Hawks. He's the one who found her after a villain attack that nearly killed her. And while he's "an absolute moron most of the time", she thinks he's a good hero that's just trying to help people out.

>Quirk: Beast Mode (animal transformation)

~Quirk allows her to be transformed into any animal, including mythical and extinct, by rearranging her dna and bone and skin

-It's more difficult to change into non-existent animals because she has to take animal DNA that's similar to the creature and change it herself. It's like experimenting, it's trial and error.

~Large animals hurt because her bones shift and morph a lot, it's quicker to shift to an animal that's roughly her size

~Side effects:

-Has animalistic qualities while human

-Has heightened senses (sight, hearing, smell)

-Has small fangs

-Has limited energy, can change into small animals almost infinitely as her energy regenerates but large animals drain it faster than she can heal

-The longer she stays in an animal form, the more she loses her sense of humanity. If she stays in a form for too long, she starts to act like that certain animal. It's like her animal instinct kicking in. Her limit is about 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the animal. This is probably due to having an animal brain for long periods of time.

-she is very flexible due to her body changing so much.

-the shift doesn't happen immediately, it takes a few seconds which is a big disadvantage in battles.

>Personality: really kind and energetic. She's the type of friend who has your back no matter what. She doesn't like to jump to conclusions quickly and prefers to think of all the possibilities. She is very intelligent but hides it behind her outgoing exterior. She doesn't like to show negative feelings, so she keeps a smile on her face even when she feels bad to cheer others up. She's always willing to help people. She believes everyone has the right to their own opinion, and never judges another person's opinion. Risu is compassionate and understanding because she knows what it's like to be judged, and she doesn't want to subject people to that. She wants to be a hero to put a little bit more kindness into the world.

~Is nicknamed Risu because of her squirrel-like personality

~Is friends with basically everyone and has blackmail on everyone

~Grew up with Naomi, Izuku, Katsuki, and Kaminari

~Has a lip piercing on the right side of her mouth

~Has a fear of lightning but is not afraid of Kaminari, ironically. When she found out he had an electric type quirk, she was wary of him at first but soon warmed up to him. She is not afraid of Kaminari's electricity because she knows he won't harm her (at least, not on purpose)

-Background: Risu was friends with a stray cat when she was young. She fed the cat and they bonded, often playing together in a field near her house (cat was named Silk. Solid black cat). One day, they were playing during a bad storm and Silk got struck by lightning, killing him and traumatizing young Risu.

~Risu is very insecure about herself. When she was younger, people always made fun of her quirk by calling it, "mainstream" and "over-rated." While she was growing up, she always marveled at the quirks of others because she thought they were so much more unique than hers. She is also very insecure about her looks because she looked so normal compared to others because most people had unnatural colored hair. She dyed it purple and cut it in 7th grade so she could stand out more.

~Risu is not vulnerable to Naomi's quirk. Since they have been friends for a really long time, Risu has developed the ability to block out Naomi's quirk from reading her mind and taking control. Risu once pranked her where she made Naomi believe that her quirk worked on her. Naomi was excited and then Risu revealed that she was faking. Naomi was pissed.

~When she was younger, Risu had an imaginary friend that was so vivid, she thought her friend was real. Her parents had to convince her that it was just imaginary and not real. Strangely, Risu's friend looked just like her. She assumed it was because she always wanted a sibling since she was an only child.

~Risu went to middle school in America, specifically North Carolina, so she speaks english. While abroad, she taught English to Naomi over their calls. They like to have conversations in english so the others don't know what they're talking about.

~Risu loves to eat junk food. Her diet consists of pizza rolls, hot pockets, and ramen. Though, she started eating salads more.

~Risu invented tennis baseball with Naomi. The class was bored and they had a baseball bat and tennis balls.

~Favorite color is purple, but she also really likes black and red.

~Risu is definitely emo. Most of her clothes are from Hot Topic and she cries about MCR getting back together. She also loves grunge style clothes (mainly flannels).

~Risu is a dancer. She danced for five years, mostly in America, and it's one of the only skills she is proud of. She used to dance with Naomi's little brother, Rei. She tries to get Naomi to dance with her but she refuses. Risu and Mina like to make choreos together.

~Risu hates to be called "Henka." Only her parents call her that. She insists that everyone call her Risu and she doesn't like honorifics because she got used to having none in America

~Can rap "Rap God" by Eminem and "Homicide" by Logic. She loves to learn really fast rap songs because she believes they present a challenge and also because she thinks rapping is one of the only things she's good at.

~Can fit at least 15 normal-sized marshmallows in her mouth.

~Loves cheesecake (new york style) and would literally die for apple pie.

~Often transforms into a dragonfly to terrify/bribe Naomi into doing things via her fear.

~Once transformed into a squirrel to steal some gummy bears from a little kid after he disrespected a young squirrel's body (she was, like, 10 at the time).

~Almost drowned as a kid. When she was 5, she was playing in a pool and went underwater. She stayed under for too long and almost passed out. Luckily, her mom pulled her out in time.

~Says she "suffers from lycanthropy" as a joke. (werewolf-ism)

~Risu is a confident Bisexual. She currently has a crush on Mina. She loves making half 'n half jokes and identifies as a semi-circle (half straight).

~ Did a work-study with Kirishima and Amajiki under Fatgum

~Knows how to use a variety of random weapons such as katanas, bo-staffs, slingshots, and even guns

~ Enjoys horror movies but refuses to watch Chucky or Annabelle because she has a fear of dolls

~ Somehow, on complete accident, Risu is very good at sneaking around. She's learned to walk lightly and without stomping, her experience in dance giving her the habit of walking and running on the balls of her feet. She thinks people can hear her walking up behind them, but they really don't know she's there and she has almost been punched on multiple occasions, even by her own parents. Somehow, she can also do this in shoes; tennis shoes, boots, flip-flops, almost anything.

~In Japan, there's no kindergarten. Elementary school starts at first grade and goes all the way to sixth before middle school. Middle school is seventh, eighth, and ninth, and the rest is high school. Risu completed elementary school in Japan, then moved to the US where she started middle school. Since she had already completed sixth grade, her first year of junior high was seventh grade. She stayed in America for three years, going into her first year of high school (ninth grade). After that, she moved back to Japan and started high school (because high school in Japan starts at tenth grade), which was UA.
