As a child Eudora was very energetic in contrast to her mother who was known for her stoic demeanor when in public. Members of the court remember her being very curious about royal affairs as she would always tried to sneak into conference rooms while her mother was in meeting. Shortly after Eudora's 7th birthday, King Frederick divorced Queen Andromeda and left Mewni forever. According to Glossaryck, this is when things got worse.
The divorce had a lasting impact on Queen Andromeda, resulting in her turning even more bitter and greedy. Palace servants often recalled how she would lash out at Eudora for small mistakes and rarely spent time with her. The few times Eudora was with her mother was at public events or royal gatherings. Their relationship was very strained. To prepare her for becoming queen, Eudora's mother hired many famed tutors and scholars to teach her. Her lessons took up the majority of her day which left her no time for breaks.
This was when one servants recalled Queen Andromeda telling Eudora that, "Friends are not needed at this time because they are mere distractions." Queen Andromeda continued to discourage the idea of friendship to her daughter and instead tried to install her selfish beliefs into her. Queen Andromeda put Eudora in princess manner and ettiqute classes as soon as she was 10.
Because of her busy schedule Eudora became socially stunted. Mewmans theorized that her lack of a present father was also to blame for her change in behavior. Unfortunately things went even more downhill after that. One day Queen Andromeda hired a new teacher for her daughter because the last one quit. The teacher usually taught Eudora in her bedroom or in the royal library. Slowly Eudora lost her bubbly personality and adopted a more reserved one. She became meek, introverted, and would frequently isolate herself.
One chambermaid, who shall not be named for privacy reasons, reported hearing hushing noises and whimpering coming from the the princess' room. The maid knocked on the door to ask if everything was alright, to which Eudora's teacher answered and apologized for the noise, stating that "the princess had gotten some answers wrong and was getting frustrated," hence the whimpering and the hushed whispers of the teacher trying to calm her down. The chambermaid hesitantly left them alone but the uneasy feeling never went away.
Many palace servants noticed the history teacher's suspicious behavior and some even voiced their concerns to the Queen who merely turned a blind eye. Eudora worsened over time. Finally the teacher was fired for reasons unknown but the damage had already been done. It was later discovered by the Royal doctor that the princess had been raped. Servants report rarely seeing Eudora outside her room or the palace in general. She became a hermit and was said to have developed androphobia. Eudora's change in behavior did not go unnoticed even when, during her wand ceremony, Princess Eudora acted skittish around the male guests.
Not much is known about her personal life except that she married Lord Silvius from the Fields Family and gave birth to twins Prince Astro and Princess Astraea (the latter of which became the new ruler of Mewni). But Eudora Butterfly was never the same again. She made no spells of her own. Eudora died by hanging at age 44 when her daughter was crowned Queen.
