Violetta was born as princess of mewni to Galatea the Scientist and Desmond Fields. Desmond  was a travelling merchant who had captured the heart of Queen Galatea during her youth. Their passionate romance was never meant to lead to marriage; instead, he was merely a lover who brought joy to the queen's life. However, when Violetta was born, her father chose to leave Mewni, believing it was in the best interest of both the kingdom and his family. This decision left a significant void in Violetta's life as she grew up without the presence of a father figure to guide or support her.

Galatea, though heartbroken by her lover's departure, poured her love and energy into raising Violetta. She devoted herself to teaching her daughter the intricacies of magic, the arts, and the responsibilities that came with being a member of the royal family. Despite the absence of her father Violetta experienced an early life filled with enchantment and wonder, nurtured by her mother's devotion.

In spite of the beauty surrounding her, Violetta also felt the weight of expectations placed upon her as the only child of a prominent queen. The absence of her father created a sense of longing for familial completeness and she often wondered about his decision to leave. This sense of abandonment lingered in her heart, influencing her perception of relationships and her role as a future queen.

As she grew older, Violetta became increasingly aware of her mother's high expectations. Galatea wanted her daughter to embody grace and intelligence, carrying on the legacy of the Butterfly family. However the pressure to live up to these ideals often felt overwhelming for the young princess. In her quest for acceptance and love she developed a desire for the finer things in life—beautiful clothing, grand parties, and the admiration of others.

With her mother's untimely death, a 12 year old Violetta found herself thrust into a world she was ill-prepared for. In her will, Queen Galatea decreed that Violetta would be married to a noble of Mewni named Louis DeChambeau, a decision made to secure the political alliance of the realm. This arrangement, while typical for the time, made Violetta a child bride and forced her to embrace responsibilities far beyond her years.

When she ascended to the throne at 13 Violetta struggled to find her footing. Her advisors were  more concerned with their own ambitions than with her well-being which resulted in them failing to provide her with the mentorship she desperately needed. Instead, they encouraged her indulgent lifestyle, allowing her to retreat into the luxurious world she had known as a child. By her late twenties, the rift between Violetta and her people had widened significantly. When informed about the crop droughts she replied with, "Let them eat corn!"

The citizens of Mewni, once loyal to their queen, grew increasingly resentful of her lavish spending and perceived indifference to their suffering. In a desperate bid for change a faction of disillusioned citizens stormed the castle, demanding accountability and reform. In a dramatic turn of events, Violetta was captured during the uprising. The anger of the populace culminated in a public trial, where she faced harsh judgment for her negligence and excesses.

Both her and Louis were paraded through the village (with trash being thrown at them) until being stopped in the Village Square. Violetta was beheaded but Louis was spared and given a second chance to make things right. He continued to rule alone with his daughter Andromeda (who kinda turned out just like her mom unfortunately. the only difference is that she had no reason to be selfish and spoiled. but she still ruled mewni and did her duties like a mature person so she was an ok queen??)
