 Princess Therese was born to King Basil and Queen Rita. Right away she shared many similarities with her great grandmother Cybil. From a young age her fascination with the ocean was clear. While other princesses played with magical artifacts, Therese would always sneak off to go watch the ocean. Her love for the sea was nurtured by small yet impactful moments during her childhood. On her fifth birthday, King Basil and Queen Rita gifted her a small wooden ship crafted by a master artisan, painted in vivid blues and golds. Therese named it The Sea Blossom and spent countless afternoons pretending to sail across the world.

At the age of seven, a significant event occurred that solidified Therese's connection to the sea. During a royal trip to Mewni's southern coast, she wandered off alone and found herself near a hidden cove. There, she encountered a group of sailors preparing their ships for an upcoming voyage. Instead of running back to the safety of her guards, Therese approached them with wide-eyed curiosity. The sailors, recognizing her royal status, respectfully showed her around the ships and spoke of distant lands, treasure, and the call of the open waters. Therese, utterly entranced, knew at that moment that her heart belonged to the sea.

 As Therese grew older, she struggled with the expectations placed upon her as a princess of Mewni. She was expected to master courtly etiquette, study diplomacy, and prepare herself to rule alongside a future king. Yet none of these roles felt right to her. She spent her lessons daydreaming about distant islands and mythical sea creatures, much to the dismay of her tutors. Therese would frequently sneak out of the palace to spend time at the docks, where she befriended sailors, merchants, and pirates alike. Her boldness and bravery impressed many of them, and she quickly earned their respect. She learned how to tie knots, navigate by the stars, and even handle a sword—skills she knew would one day serve her well.

Therese's victories at sea not only protected the kingdom but also secured her place as a beloved and unconventional ruler. Under her leadership, piracy became more than just plunder and treasure—it became a symbol of freedom, adventure, and defiance against unjust authority. She was known for helping Mewni's economy. By establishing trade with dimensions that were previously considered unreachable, she made Mewni a central player in interdimensional commerce. Thanks to Therese's trade efforts, the influx of rare goods gave local artisans and merchants the opportunity to craft and sell new items that had never been seen before in the kingdom.

Princess Therese maintained close ties with her family and despite their initial concerns, King Basil and Queen Rita grew to accept and even admire their daughter's unorthodox path. Therese would occasionally return to the palace to offer counsel, though her heart always pulled her back to the sea. Over time she built her own fleet, known as the Siren's Armada, a group of skilled sailors and pirates who sought adventure and justice across the oceans. She eventually returned to Mewni and took the throne with Captain Jeremiah, the leader of her rival pirate crew. They had a daughter named Ruby. Therese would end up going missing on a sea expedition.

Tidal Cutlass Slash: the first spell I made as soon as I got my wand. it conjures a glowing cutlass of water which slashes with the force of a crashing waves. it pushes enemies back and soaks them in saltwater.

Black Flag Barrage: summons multiple spectral cannons firing powerful magical cannonballs at your target, causing BIG BIG BIG explosions upon impact!

Treasure Seeker's Charm: this spell is extremely helpful when looking for hidden treasures or just things you've lost. has helped me find my tiara numerous times haha!

Siren's Song of Lure: releases a sweet melody that takes control of your enemy's mind.

Ghost Ship's Veil: cloaks my ship and or body in a ghostly fog. renders me invisible for a short time and its perfect for sneak attacks or just playing pranks on people.
