The whole group was sitting in the way too familiar therapy room. It had been time for yet another meeting and according to Jin this would be a fun one.

"Ladies and gentleman today we will play a little game. Half of you will get a packet of cards and the other half will get nothing. On the cards are questions, some personal and some completely random." Jin started to grab the cards from a table and he slowly walked around the room, occasionally handing over packets to people.

"Everyone who has a set of cards will pick a partner from the people who have nothing and you two will ask each other the questions I've written on the cards. You are free to choose how and where you will play the game as long as you ask each other questions. Any questions?" Jin passed his last set of cards to Jungkook and after a short silence he motioned the group of patients with cards towards him.

A huge smile was displayed on Jungkook's face. The fact he was the proud owner of a set made him somewhat superior to the other half of the group. He could finally choose who he wanted to work with instead of being partnered up. Of course he already knew who he wanted to partner with. Yugyeom was his obvious choice and today would finally be the time he could do something with the boy. Besides there weren't many others to choose from. The only two people Jungkook really spoke with on the other side of the room were Yugyeom and Taehyung, the last boy being his partner almost every time so he was ready to switch it up for once.

As if on cue Jin walked up to Jungkook slowly passing him to stand next to the younger. "Can you pick Taehyung?" The elder's voice barely a whisper. Immediately Jungkook's eyes grew big and he looked towards Jin. "He's always picked last, please do me this favor." Jin's voice sounded again.

Jungkook's eyes were still big while looking with uncertain eyes at Jin. He really didn't want to do what the elder was asking of him. The ravenette had hoped to partner with Yugyeom for once. Sure he understood that being picked last always wasn't nice but that wasn't Jungkook's fault, right? He wasn't some charity that picked the sad cases and fixed their problems, he was here for his own problems and he really wanted to change his partner up this time.

A deep sigh left Jin's mouth the moment he saw the hesitation in Jungkook's eyes. He knew it was gonna be a challenge to partner them up this time but he had hoped Jungkook had grown a soft spot for the blonde, apparently he was wrong. So without question Jin threw in his last try of getting the two to partner up. "You wanted to get to know him right, take this as your chance. I won't give you another one."

The elder saw a mere second of conflict in Jungkook's eyes but before he could say another word Jungkook had already walked up towards Taehyung, the younger softly smiling while he asked Taehyung to partner up with him. A huge smile broke out on the blonde's face immediately and he nodded his head a little too enthousiast. It was more than clear that Taehyung hadn't expected the gesture at all but he was way too happy to even think about the fact that it had been a set up made by Jin.

Jungkook on the other hand wasn't too happy about his partner but what Jin had said was true. He did want to get to know Taehyung better and what better way then to play a game of asking questions was there to do exactly that. He wanted to know what it was that Taehyung was hiding and this would probably be one of his only opportunities if he had to believe Jin.

So to make a long story short Jungkook had grabbed his chance and asked the blonde to be his partner, the fact that there was a small smile displayed on the ravenettes face because of the happy reaction Taehyung had provided was completely forgotten or maybe even ignored by Jungkook.

"So where do you wanna play this game?" Taehyung asked a little too loud but still manageable for Jungkook. The ravenette slowly looked around the room for a few seconds before an idea suddenly popped up inside his head. His eyes darted across the room before they landed on the person he was looking for. He quickly told Taehyung to give him a moment before he walked over towards Jin, instantly grabbing the elder's attention.

Jungkook stopped a little before the elder and without giving him a chance to ask what the ravenette wanted of him Jungkook had already voiced his question. "Can I take Taehyung outside with me?"

One of Jin's eyebrows lifted a little before a smirk formed on his face. Seemed like Jungkook was indeed picking up on Jin's idea of getting to know the blonde and win his trust a little. "If you keep an eye on him, yes you can."

Before Jin could speak another word Jungkook had already turned around and with a few quick steps he made his way back over towards Taehyung. The two shortly crossed eyes and Jungkook motioned the older boy to follow him. "Wanna go outside for a while?"

Taehyung's eyes grew as big as saucers and he immediately nodded his head like his life depended on it. With a small smile Jungkook started to walk outside of the room, Taehyung short on his heels.

It didn't take long before both boys were outside, not really caring where they were going. Both of them mindlessly walked to the park that was across from the hospital. Taehyung's face was filled with joy, the boy kept looking around while occasionally touching some leaves or flowers on their way while Jungkook could only look with some kind of fascination at the blonde. The both of them had taken a short stroll before they came across a small bench where they took a seat to do something with Jin's cards. Jungkook placed the set of cards between them while he leaned back a little to get a bit more comfortable. "You can go first."

With a soft nod the blonde reached for the cards, grabbing the one on top and reading it. "What's your dream job?"

Jungkook pinched his eyes a little together while he thought about the right answer to that question. There were a lot of things that had wanted to do with his life but one of them clearly stood out from the rest. "I wanna be a painter. Doesn't matter in what genre as long as I can be creative in it." The ravenette saw how another smile made its way on Taehyung's face while he reached for the cards. He grabbed the one on top, instantly turning it around. "What's your favourite activity?"

A short silence fell between the two boys before Taehyung voiced his answer. "This. Going outside. I'm glad you asked me to go with you Jungkook, I really appreciate it."

Jungkook didn't know why but somehow he had no idea how to react to Taehyung's statement. The elder had sounded so sincere that it was almost unfamiliar for Jungkook to hear somebody appreciate something so small he had done for them. Most of the time people would take Jungkook's efforts for granted but with Taehyung that was never the case. He always said thank you and he never took something for granted. The ravenette gave the blonde a short nod while Taehyung grabbed another card from the pile. "What's your favourite colour."

Jungkook didn't even have to think about that one before he had said red. It had been his favourite colour since he was little and it still was. Within a second the younger had grabbed another card, reading it out loud instantly. "How do you feel?"

A soft silence fell between the boys and Jungkook immediately saw the conflict in Taehyung's eyes. It was more than clear that Taehyung wasn't sure if he wanted to answer honestly. "It's okay if you want to skip this one. I can pick another card." Taehyung didn't react immediately at Jungkook's suggestion. The elder looked a little away from the dark haired boy before him. "I....uhm......"

Without giving it a second thought Jungkook had dropped the card on their 'done' pile while he reached for another card. He wasn't going to force Taehyung to answer this question if he wasn't comfortable with it. He might not particularly like the boy before him but he wasn't heartless either. He knew how it felt to be forced into sharing your feelings and he didn't wanna do that to Taehyung.

However Taehyung's voice suddenly sounded from beside him, making him look at the elder instantly. "I feel quite alone to be honest. Don't get me wrong I'm not lonely or sad all the time but sometimes I just feel alone you know." A forced smile was visible on the blonde's face.

Jungkook didn't know what came over him but he suddenly decided to share something personal with Taehyung. He didn't know why but Taehyung's answer had struck something in him and he felt like he owed the elder an honest reaction. "I do to be honest. You know that I've lost my mother and without her I also feel alone quite regularly. I'm not lonely or sad at all, I've got loads of friends and I'm rather angry than sad but I do feel alone sometimes. Like nobody understands me, if you know what I mean."

Taehyung instantly gave Jungkook an understanding nod. Jungkook didn't know why Taehyung felt alone but he knew that he understood the blonde's feelings and that they weren't nice to have. Feeling alone wasn't pretty in any kind of way, it made him hopeless and depressed. Lucky for Jungkook his episodes of feeling alone never lasted really long but he had no idea how they were for Taehyung. Judging from the elders behaviour they weren't there all the time since he could be quite bubbly too. On the other hand he didn't know what went on inside Taehyung's mind, hell he didn't even know why the elder was at the ward anymore.

A soft sigh left Jungkook's mouth before he reached for another card and gave it to Taehyung to break their silence. "It's your turn."

The blonde nodded shortly and not much later they were back at their game while both of them were completely losing track of time.

Jungkook didn't want to admit it but he might have even liked their little game before Jackson had come to get them both.

A big smirk displayed on Jin's face the moment the two boys entered the already empty room.
