Bani gets Reet ready in school uniform.

"Reet, your bus is coming today?"

"Yes Papa." She said sipping her chocolate milkshake.

"Bani can you make me a cup of hot chocolate?" He requested.

"Sure." She said moving to the kitchen.

What happened to this guy suddenly? Why he is being all husband types?

"Mumma my bus is here, come fast." Bani heard Reet yelling from the living room.

"Coming baby." She yelled back.

"Here." She hands the cup of hot chocolate to Ram who smiles muttering a thank you.

"Let's go bacche." She picks up Reet in her arms.

"Bye Papa."

"Bye Princess. I love you."

"I love you." Reet blows a flying kiss at Ram.

Bani walks out of the living room instructing dos and don'ts to Reet and Ram stares the duo.

Bani is a great mother. I can finally say that my decision of getting married to her wasn't really bad.
And she's looking so irresistibly hot in that blue saree.
I can still hear her moaning my surname and then my name.

"Huh Amritsar? Why suddenly Mom?" Ram asks frowning.

"You wedding was done in a hush-hush and our extended family wants to meet your wife."

"Mom please, Dad's mom is too much."

"She's your grandma Ram." Aradhna glares him.

"What? She's not her real mom and we know step moms kaise hote hain."

It was too late to take back what he just said. Bani looks up at him with hurtful eyes.

"I'll just come." Bani excuses herself and runs to her room.

Aradhna sighs. "Ram you're not a kid please. What is thi behaviour?"

"I'm sorry Mom, i literally didn't mean that."

"Say sorry to her, not me. Also, book flight tickets to Amritsar." She says getting up and going back to her room.

You're a fucker Ram.

He too gets up and walks towards his room.

"Bani." He calls her softly but she wasn't there in the room. He checks in Reet's room but she wasn't there too then he checks the walk-in closet and the bathroom but she wasn't there.

Where are you Bani!?

"Reet's bathroom?" He asks himself amd before he can give it a thought, he was already walking in the direction of Reet's bathroom.

The scene he witnessed was heartbreaking. Bani was sitting under the shower, her face between her knees and cold water running down her body.

It's fucking November, she'll get sick.

"BANI!" He says moving towards her.

He turns off the shower and kneels down beside her.
He can hear her sobs, light but loud enough to let him know how hurt she is.

"Bani, baby I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you." He held her from her shoulders.

"But you did, you fucking did." She jerks his hand screaming.

"I'm sorry, I'm literally very sorry."

"No you're not. You say sorry and then you things which hurt me."

"I didn't mean it for you."

"But it still hurt me because I'm a step mom. That too to your daughter."

"You're the best mother, Bani."

"You're confusing Ram, very very confusing. You act so caring and then you do or say things which make me feel that you don't care at all. Why are you like this?" She cries resting her head on his shoulder.

"You'll think I'm stupid but i literally don't know why i act so weird when I'm around you. I've not been in a relationship from last 5 years and i just, i just forgot how a husband is supposed to behave. I may sound pathetic but i just can't help it." He rubs her back to her calm her down.

"I don't know why i married an asshole like you. I hate you so much but I'm still her seeking peace in your arms."

"You're calling me an asshole?"

"You are one. Who says such harsh words infront of a step mother?"

"Baby look at me."

Did he just called me baby or am i dreaming?

"You don't seem like a step mother to me and that's why i keep forgetting that. It will be better if you stop considering yourself as her step mother."

Bani looks at his face, her lashes flickering because of the water and her own tears.
Her face was red and her nose was redder.

"Look at you, you look like a kid."

"I'm.still not talking to you." She says getting up.

Ram finally notices how mesmerizing she's looking right now. With this light blue net saree sticking to her frame, her hair wet but still tied in a bun.
His eyes followed the water droplet which traveled down from her lips to her chin and neck and then finally disappeared between the swells of front.

Bani felt her skin burning under his gaze.

He gets up and slides his hand on her waist, holding her tightly.

"Wha-t are y-ou doing, Mr. Kapoor?"

"Why do you have to say this everytime i touch you?"

"I d-on't know."

"Then even i don't know what I'm doing." He leans to her and rubs his cheek on her.

Bani clutches his shoulders tightly.

"I want you to know that you're the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen, Bani." He says resting his forehead on her. He was staring in her eyes deep and hard, his eyes showing pure desires.
Desires for her, desires for her body.

Bani always dreamt of her prince charming and a fairytale love story but ended up marrying him for money but she wants this marriage to be a normal one. Where they behave like a normal couple, do things like a normal couple do, go on dates, share problems, hug each other, kiss each other, make love to each other.

He smiles lightly before placing his lips on her, taking her for a soulful kiss.
It was her first kiss and she felt like her body was set on fire. Her soul is floating in water. Every nerve in her body which she didn't know existed was now bursting with something she can't ignore.

It was so intense that she felt everything around her is ending but it was actually a beginning, beginning of a beautiful life with him.
