"Then prove it. How can I know that I can trust you?"

"Because I love you!"

Juliet turns to Dean, a look of fury on her face as she grabs the nearest object and hurls it her boyfriend's way.

Dean, just about, dodges the hair brush that Juliet had thrown his way. It's been like this for a few weeks now, they'd go on hunts together and it would start really good, but then it would end really bad. Except this time, it didn't start with a hunt. It started with a night out, it was Dean's idea, go on a date, reconnect. Sort things out between them, and it was all going great..until the waitress started flirting with him and gave him her number right in front of Juliet, and like a dunce, he took it with a nod of his head. In his defence, he didn't know what she was saying and just nodded his head. He wasn't listening to what she was saying, too busy being enraptured with Juliet.

So, of course, as soon as they returned to their motel room, Juliet had blown up on him without giving him time to explain. She's hot headed like that, he hopes that one day she'll grow out of it. Who knows, maybe in the future he's the hotheaded one, while she's the calm and collected one, but that's in the future, right now he's gotta deal with his present, riled up girlfriend, who's currently cursing him as well as shouting at him.

"Y'know what?! I'm really starting to rethink this whole relationship idea! I mean, why did we think this was good idea? Because it evidently isn't!" Juliet takes a breath as she scoffs, "You're Dean Winchester, the hunter that has so little respect for women, who only see's them as a fun time."

Dean rolls his eyes as he shakes his head, "I don't have to stand here and listen to this. I'm goin' for a drink."

The twenty year old is quick to walk over to the front door, hearing the last of Juliet's words.

"You're just a scared little boy with commitment issues as well as daddy issues."

Dean shakes his head, once more.

"You need some serious anger managment courses."

Those words are enough to anger Juliet more. He's quick to walk out of their motel room, shutting the door behind him. He sighs as he thumps his head against the, now, closed door. He jumps, however, when there's a loud thud from the other side of the door and if he has to guess, he would say that Juliet has thrown another hairbrush.

The twenty year old scoffs as he makes his way to the Impala and gets in the car, starting the igniton before driving off to the nearest bar so he can bury his emotions in drink.

Dean sighs as he downs another glass of whiskey, he feels sweet relief in the burning feeling as the liquid travels down his throat. He's five glasses in and he's still not feeling numb yet. Dean raises his hand, getting the bartender's attention, he walks over and pours him another drink. Dean nods his head, silently thanking him as he goes to take a sip.

"Hi there."

Dean turns his head and raises an eyebrow at the redhead standing to his left.

"Hey."

The red haired woman smiles as she sits down in the empty seat next to Dean, a sultry smile on her face as she eyes him up and down, her green eyes are enchanting.

"I couldn't help but notice that you're sitting here alone."

Dean lowers his head, knowing that this strange woman won't leave him alone unless he gives her a reason to, so he does. "My girlfriend and I had this fight." He's blunt in his reply, hoping that him not mentioning Juliet by name will give this woman a hint, but it doesn't.

Dean watches with a furrowed brow as she trails her fingers up and down his arm, a sugary sweet smile on her face as she flutters her eyelash extensions. "That's too bad. Well, y'know what they say, one person's loss is another person's gain."

The hunter shakes his head, "Listen lady, I don't even know your name."

She smiles, "It's Rhonda Hurley, and yours?"

The corners of her mouth lift up into a smirk, her green opals searching his face before a spark of recognition can been seen in her eyes.

"I know you, you're Dean Winchester, a hunter."

Dean, feeling creeped out, tries to shake her grip off his arm.

"How do you know who I am?"

Rhonda lets out a laugh, sounds more like a cackle than anything, it's not even close to Juliet's laugh.

"Oh, sugar. Every hunter knows who you are, they even know your daddy, but enough of that," the smirk on her face widens, "How 'bout me and you get down to some real business?" Before Dean can react, Rhonda grabs the back of his head and plants her lips on his. Dean is quick to fight her off him, just as the door to the bar opens. He looks to his right where Juliet is standing, her brown eyes wide with shock as her mouth drops to the floor at seeing her boyfriend with another woman.

Juliet scoffs, and to think she was going to come here and apologize.

Before he can blink, Juliet has turned around and is headed for the door.

Rhonda smirks, "Oh, leave her be. She's honestly not that worth it."

Dean goes to turn around but the sound of angry footsteps, stop him. Dean watches, partly in shock and partly impressed, as Juliet rounds on Rhonda and slaps her in the face. The red head grabs her, now red, cheek as she yelps in pain. The older Winchester brother smiles, proud and goes to turn to Juliet, but she's gone. His green eyes move to the door, where he sees a flash of brown hair before it closes shut.

Dean quickly downs his drink before grabbing his orange and black body warmer. He leaves the cash on the bar as he walks out of the building, hoping to catch up to Juliet.

The door shuts behind him as Dean walks quickly to catch up with Juliet, he sees her.

"Juliet! Wait!"

The brown haired woman turns around which causes Dean to pause, not expecting her to be so close.

The huntress let's out a humourless laugh, "To think I was coming here to apologize, be the bigger person," she shakes her head, "Just leave me alone, Dean. Evidently, our relationship isn't worth it and means so little to you. It surely doesn't look like it matters to you, anyway. I don't matter to you"

Dean grabs her arm to stop her from turning around.

Juliet closes her eyes as she inhales a shuddering breath, not wanting to look Dean in the eye and show him how heartbroken she really is. He doesn't get to see her cry. Her heart just about breaks as she feels his hand caress her skin, turning her head so she's looking at him.

His heart just about breaks at seeing the broken expression on her face.

"Of course you matter, and of course I care. Our relationship, us..it means the world to me and I swear, she pulled me in to a kiss I didn't want."

Dean winces as she rips her hand from his grasp, fury swimming in her deep pools of chocolate brown.

"Don't lie to me! Please. Dean, you're a playboy, you always have been. You have the same amount of commitment as a postbox. I was stupid to think I could change you, actually be with you."

Dean shakes his head, "No. No. I'm not lyin' to you, Jules."

"Then prove it. How can I know that I can trust you?"

Dean groans, feeling frustrated.

"Because I love you!"

Juliet's mouth drops in shock, not expecting that kinda outburst. She closes her mouth as she tilts her head, blowing out her cheeks as she takes a breath.

"Y-you love me?"

Dean quickly nods his head as he takes both of her hands in his, "Yes, I do, I really do. I promise you, I wasn't lookin' for a hookup and I swear, that she kissed me, and baby, when you slapped her, I had the biggest grin on my face."

Juliet gives him a little smile, "Yeah, that did feel good. Do ya think she felt it?"

Dean chuckles as he wraps his arms around her waist and brings her in closer, "Hell yeah, she did. That was one mean swing, babe." His comment causes Juliet's smile to widen as she wraps both arms around his neck. "Good."

Dean shakes his head as he leans down and places a kiss on Juliet's lips, the said woman smiling into the kiss as she stands on her tippy toes. She lets out a laugh as Dean picks her up, both of the leaning more into the kiss.

They break away and Dean sets her back down on her feet.

"Let's go home."

The huntress nods her head, "Sounds good to me."

A thought pops into her head, "And hey, Dean?" The said Winchester hums as he looks down at her, she smiles. "I love you, too."

They share one last kiss as the happy couple make their way towards the Impala, both with smiles on their faces.

They both know that as they grow, they'll have more arguments, but that's life and as long as they always prevail and rise above it, they'll do just fine.

Auhtor's note

As it says above, this one-shot was rquested by Queen_of_the_Night1

Thank you for requesting it! I hope I've written it okay, for you and just like you wanted.

If any of you guys were wondering their ages in this one-shot, Dean is 20 and Juliet is 17.

I know you're probably reading that and pulling a face, just wanna make it clear that Juliet and Dean have only just started dating and at this stage, the most they have done is kissing. Jules is actually more mature for her age than most people think, That, and this is a FANFIC! There's only a three year age gap.

Anyhoo, I hope you enjoyed this one shot.

Please comment and vote as it does mean a lot, really. I like hearing your guys' thoughts on my writing.

Also, if you miraculously missed it, 'The Journey Begins' Chapter Twenty is out now. It's the first part to the episode 'Hook Man'. Feel free to check that out.

If you have any one-shot ideas, let me know in the comments and I will gladly add them to my list. Have an amazing day/evening!
