3. Takin' Back My Love..
He got down from his car and ran towards the house but wait!
The sight at the right, left him rooted. He didn't move, the rain dripping down his whole body, wetting him completely in this process. He didn't care of the rain that soaked him.
There was a slow tingle that run behind his backbone. His eyes refocus and become much clearer and easier to see. He took all his efforts to not stand and stare at..
at..Avyakta.
Her divine beauty took his heart, again.
The girl their stood, under the shed but a smile remain transfixed on her face. She continuosly enjoyed in rain by moving her face forward since her arm was fractured plus her head was covered with a hard bandage. She just couldn't sit when the rain showers.
The floral coloured kurti girl, looked like a divine soul that is so pure and her beauty is undeniable. Avyakta pulled her leg in the air and fell the fresh drops. Unaware of someone's presence she sat and looked at the nature's creation. Rain.
She can miss anything for Rain. The magic created by rain made her agony and uneased heart, relaxed.
She was lost until a hand slid under her waist, bringing her back to the world.
Then, she felt someone smelling the scent of her hair. A strong feeling of uneasiness engulfed her.
Avyakta turned around and...
SLAP!
Siddhant's face was now covered with the mark of the slap she gave. It touched not only his cheek but it was a wound that pricked his heart.
"You??
How dare you touch me??"
Nose flaring, stiff body, eyes about to pop out were the features at that time which could be seen then.
Siddhant, who was completely lost in her beauty, didn't know when he took this step.
"I..I..Umm...sorry..I didn't know when..I mean...How this happen..sorry!!"
Realization hit him and he stuttered.
"I got you, what type of person you are when I met you in the hospital, itself. You really are my So-called husband.Right?
I never had doubt on my choice but today I don't know why I doubt.."
She started her non-stop session.
"Listen!
You're overreacting... okay?
You are my wife and..."
"Means..you'll see a girl anywhere and immediately hug her like this.."
Though Siddhant was angry, guilty and surprised at that time but what can he do with his former but new wife?
"Listen..I never..intend to do anything like this but you know..huuh..it just happened.. I don't know how..I'm really..am sorry!"
He rubbed his temples.
"And you know what?
I NEVER MARR-"
"Siddhant beta! You here?
Why are standing there come inside?"
Avyakta's father came suddenly.
Siddhant took his father in- law's blessings and went inside sparing her a last glance mouthing a small 'sorry'.
"Avyakta?
Why are you standing here? It's just one month only. Don't think you are free. It's raining. Come inside!"
With a sad face, she walked inside.
Siddhant wanted to laugh on the angry woman,at that time.
.
.
.
.
"So, how much time will it take to reach?"
Avyakta asked nonchalantly.
"Half an hour."
Siddhant told.
Right now, she was sitting beside him in their car. It was difficult to convince her. Reluctantly, she had to walk away from the house.
The past one hour events repeated in her mind. How her mother and aunts took her a vow on there life.
Though, they were aware about her condition but some day or the other she had to go her home back. Her In-Laws.
She was shocked to see her mother's this side. The one who always supported her took this turn. Even if She tries to convince her father to stay with them, he would, too refuse.
Agreeing to them, she thought good to go as their wish.
Avyakta was sitting lost in her thoughts. She looked out the window. The sky was tarblack and the large clouds were moving towards them. She heard the tapping on the window and then it became a pitter-patter. People ran for cover outside and umbrellas were opened as the clouds spat out their beads of water. Puddles began plinking as the rainfall became heavier.
Someone beside her was stealing glances. Siddhant, purposely pulled down her window down from his side's switch and looked forward.
Avyakta was instantly, brought back to earth by the raindrops that touched her fair skin. She, right away, closed her eyes and then, looked at him in anger.
He was aware of the look she was giving but still looked ahead, impassively.
"Don't act smart!
Why did you pull it down?"
"You were lost so...
Your side, too, had that switch..pull it up or you can complete your desire ,here, to be in rain.
Just take care of that bandage."
He pursed his lips and raised his eyebrows.
She rolled her eyes and found her way towards the window. Moving her head out a bit, she let the drops fall on her face. A small smile drew on her face. The fresh air made her hair to move freely along the air.
Siddhant was surprised that she would agree so soon on his idea.
A smile of satisfaction came on own, on his lips. While a song, continued to play in the radio.
The road to go to the place might seem tough but not impossible. They will surely reach their destination, together.
******
"This is your room, bhabhi."
Priya spoke. Her eyes never leaving those tears of love.
Avyakta was made to live in her study room that formely too, belong to her only. Since, she used to study during there, before.
Siddhant himself wanted to give her time before accomodating her in 'Their' room.
Everyone was happy when Avyakta came back to her house. They took her Aarti.According to his father and mother, Avyakta, Priya and Ruchi were luck for them. They have always brought happiness to their house.
They all welcomed her with their dilated eyes. She was astonished at that welcome. But someone's eyes never left her face. Since the time she came back home, her face as well as some parts of hair remained damp and Siddhant was lost in that beauty, again.

.
The whole family was sitting in the dinning area and eating the food, silently. It was difficult to eat with left hand for Avyakta since her right arm was in kind-of house arrest in that hard plaster. Still she managed just to not show her vulnerability.
Siddhant found it good to sit away from her, thinking that she might be angry and disconsolate about today's act. Moreover, himself he was embarrassed because of the slap and better not to tell it to anyone.
"Beta, should I make you eat?"
Savita, Siddhant's mother asked.
"No, aunty!
Thank you.. I'll manage." Avyakta smiled a bit.
Hearing her say, 'Aunty' left Savita sad.
Their maid came and served her Chapati but she stopped and looked at her as if to question something.
Avyakta looked at her.
"Umm.. madam, Did you forgot me, too?"
With her question, Avyakta grew angry. She clenched her teeth. She stood up and left towards her room, leaving her unfinished food.
Everyone was astonished with her act. Savita and Vijay, Siddhant's Father looked at her in anger and scold her.
Siddhant couldn't decipher the situation.
.
.
.
.
It was a full moon night. The moon, which steal the glances while hiding behind the clouds, spread its moonlight in the whole city as if playing hide and seek.
There she sat.
Lost in her thoughts.
Her legs folded and hands on them, she sat on the chair in her balcony attached to her study.
Her faceoff with the maid a few mins back, was making her feel furious and downhearted.
She sniffed and only looked ahead at the dark-bluish-blackish sky.
Avyakta smelled some aroma that drew her attention towards it.
Instantly, she turned her head and saw Priya standing with a plate full of food. Though, Avyakta was very much hungry.
"Bha..what should I call you?"
She paused.
"I call you bhabhi..is it fine?''
Avayakta was about to get up but Priya made her sit.
"Call me as you wish..but not..ah!leave that.."
She was in no mood to speak.
Priya nodded and sat on the chair beside her.
"I brought this for you...please..don't stress..yourself this much..we made..her..that maid understand..
Please eat it.."
She looked at the door then.
Avyakta too, looked at the same direction.
Though, she was very hungry and it was her favourite Rice and Rajma ( kidney beans) but refused to eat.
"I'm not hungry...
Priya ji..
Take it back.."
"But.."
"I said na..please..I'm not hungry at at all..You go.. don't worry much about me.."
With a stiffled smile, she spoke.
With a dejected look, Priya came out of the room.
"She is not eating, bhaiya!"
"Give it to me Priya..I'll make her eat.."
"No maa!"
Siddhant spoke to her mother.
He wanted Avyakta to keep herself hydrated and nutritioned since the doctor adviced but she refused to eat.
"She'll refuse you too...
Don't worry..You go and sleep...
I know how you are feeling seeing her like this..
Atleast..you too don't stress yourself..I'll manage.."
He kissed her mother's forehead.
"Priya..darling.. you too,go and sleep and give this plate to me..Go.." He patted her little sister.
It was siddhant only who can make her eat food now, whether she refuses, feel uncomfortable or not, Avyakta has to eat now.
.
.
.
.
Siddhant cleared his throat.
Avyakta looked at him but turned her face away.
"So, you are thinking to go on fast tonight?"
She didn't said anything and kept her face stoic.
He sat on the chair next to her maintaining a proper distance.
"Dr. Avyakta?
Look..I am asking for forgiveness instead of her that maid..but please just for that..um..don't leave your food.."
She had tears in her eyes and still didn't look at him.
"Avyakta ji.. listen..
And I'm really very sorry for the morning incident.. I never intent to do anything.."
He stopped and looked at her face.
She was continuosly wiping her fresh,stream-like tears.
"How will you feel, when someone will continuosly ask you 'you remember me, you remember her or him..or this or that'?
You know how I'm facing those people for past one month?
It's like a taunt. They tease me, and I feel like I'm not normal.."
She hiccuped.
Her state already made him to cry.
He,too, had tears in his eyes but didn't show up. He just wanted to take her in his arms like he used to do whenever she felt low.
"I myself never want to do anything like this but.. um.. leave it.."
Avyakta sat straight, speaking him.
"I know how you feel..
Please don't think about it more.."
"And things around me changed so fast. Like really fast."
"But..Avyakta ji..please have some food you are hungry. I know.
Don't give your stomach that punishment..
Please.."
She continuosly refused but at last, he calmly made her agree.
She was unable to hold the spoon and eat, when she felt a hand on her fingers.
Siddhant took the spoon and took a spoonful of rice and stuffed in her mouth.
She was somewhat hypnotized in his eyes.
"The more we think and give attention to people's words, the more tensed we'll be."
He spoke.
Both of them had tears. One had tears of getting his loved one back and the one who was fighting with herself.
He politely, without ,uttering a single word made her eat. She was surprised on herself why she was feeling no reluctancy and ate quietly.
Under the moonlight, they both sat together without any hesitation.
A few tears rolled down until she eventually stopped crying, his fingers would trace those tears and wipe them.
Her face was still wet.
His eyes has already well up as he held back his tears but silently he took a spoon and then put it in her mouth.
''Rajma and Chawal were not there on table?
Who made it?"
Siddhant looked at her once.
"I think you should sleep now..
Good Night.."
He tried to get up since she finished her meal.
"Wait!
You made it?? Because that's why you're avoiding looking at me...
Don't avoid looking at me..
Tell me the truth..siddhant!"
She got up and wiped her face with her stall.
"Yes, I made it.."
She sighed.
"Listen..Mr.Siddhant..
If you're trying to become a gentleman man than shoo.
I have not forgiven you, till now.."
She gulped.
"And Thank you for this food otherwise I don't need any sympathy and help-"
She walked ahead and was about to slip when he held held her.
"But I think you need.
BTW, It was all out of respect and love we all have towards you.
You can sleep now."
He made her stand straight and she rolled off her eyes and walked away.
Avyakta came from washroom and still found him standing there while doing something with his phone.
"You're still here?"
Siddhant walked towards her and took out a phone from his pocket.
"Your phone."
She looked at it and then him.
"Yeah take it... It's your only.."
He left to his room after whispering a small Good Night and after confirming if she needs anything.
Avyakta sat on her bed. Her face glowed under the small night lamp.
She switched on her phone and saw Siddhant's and her picture as a wallpaper in it.
She frowned and switched it off.
Keeping it beside, she slept welcoming herself for the new day.
While in the next room beside her, there he lied down recalling today's moments.
Welcoming a small smile..
