When Elina Siirala realized that Liv Krtistine, Leaves' Eyes' former lead singer, would be playing at the MVF 2016, she hoped it wouldn't cause any tension with the band. They and Liv had had a horrible breakup earlier that year, after which Elina had become the new front-woman of Leaves' Eyes. Liv was working on her solo career now, and would be performing as a solo artist. The rest of the band acted like they were perfectly fine with it, and Elina acted totally cool, but she was secretly happy Liv Kristine would be there, a happiness she had to keep secret.

 Elina quietly left after the band's performance that night. Everything had gone well, and the crowd seemed into the music, but she knew many of the fans missed Liv, and weren't entirely open to the idea of a new singer yet. However, Elina was taking it in stride, concentrating on the music and all the positive people she had met so far. 

 Elina stopped at her destination, and looked around. No sign of her, even though this was where she had said to meet.

 "Liv?" Elina called. "You here?"

 "Shh! Not so loudly."

 Liv Kristine stepped out of the shadows, and held out her arms to envelop the other woman in an embrace.

 "The guys don't know about this, right?" Liv asked.

 Elina shook her head. "They think I'm one hundred percent single."

 "Perfect," Liv said, and kissed Elina. "I don't want them to know about us yet. We just some more time for everything to blow over, and then we can tell the world if you want."

 "I'll keep it secret as long as I can," Elina said. "For you, I will."

 They kissed again, enjoying all the happiness of their secret.
