Y/N ended the call immediately. She was sobbing uncontrollable but still running to the hospital. When she arrived at the hospital, she froze. There were police cars surrounded the building. Corpses were all over the entrance with bloodstains too. Y/N stood there, her body completely froze with a shocking expression. "N-No way..." She fell on to her knees with tears streaming down her face. Then, she felt someone pat her shoulder. She turned to see Atsushi beside her. "Y/N! Are you ok?" he asked. I wiped off my tears and stood up. "M-My daughter... Iris-chan..." Y/N was sobbing uncontrollably remembering her daughter's death.

"Don't tell me..." Atsushi muttered. Realising about what just happened. "B-But I didn't know about this... Why is everything bloody?" Y/N asked shivered. "How do you know that your daughter died!?" cried Atsushi. "The doctor called me when I was strolling around the town just now. He said that Iris passed away." Y/N answered the question. "Did he tell you the cause of death?" asked Atsushi. "No, I ended the call immediately and ran here." Y/N answered. "His voice was calming though...." Y/N added again. "It's also impossible." Atsushi said. "What do you mean?" Y/N asked with her voice about to crack. "The massacre started 30 minutes ago. Only 1 female nurse survived." Atsushi explained.

Y/N's eyes widened when she heard about this. "I-Impossible!" I cried. "The one who called must be that man who attacked you." Atsushi added. "M-Mitarai Ayato?" Y/N stuttered. "He did it to me and that's how I got Iris." Y/N added. "Unfortunately, he has successfully escaped. He's a rather slick and cruel man." Atsushi stated. As the two stared at the bloody building, suddenly, a police officer called Y/N. "Excuse me, ma'am." he spoke. "Yes, sir?" Y/N asked. "Are you the mother of Iris L/N?" he asked. "Yes, I am!" Y/N responded immediately. "Please follow me." he ordered. "Alright. See you later, Atsushi." Y/N said then she followed the police officer.

After Iris's funeral the next day, Y/N was sobbing uncontrollably in her apartment. She didn't even talk to anyone as she was too upset. Yuna and Atsushi tried speaking to her but she never reply. She took a week off from work to grieve. Y/N just cried at her room with curtains closed and no light even at night. She didn't even eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Her heart broke into uncountable pieces.

A day passed, she stood up from her bed doing her morning routine such as brushing her teeth and taking a cold shower. She checked on her phone and saw a text from Atsushi. It was just him asking if she needed him to come over. Since she didn't want him to worry, she decided to accept it. She looked at the window. It was a gloomy day outside.
It looked it was about to rain cats and dogs soon. She felt cold and freezing. The atmosphere in her apartment was gloomy and dark. She felt herself crying again as she saw the toys her daughter used to play with.

Then, she heard a knock from the door....
