~Y/n pov~

Shuichi walked into the cafeteria, but something was different.

"Good morning.." he smiled faintly.

"You finally got rid of that emo hat! Is this cuz Kaede died or whatever?"

I whacked Kokichi lightly over the head for being insensitive. You could say...I was growing a soft spot for Shuichi.

Kokichi held the part of his head I hit and pouted at me, "That hurts."

I patted his head, as he stopped complaining and nuzzled his head into my palm.

"Learn some manners won't you!" Tenko yelled at Kokichi.

"Oh you're not wearing your hat. I didn't even notice." Kaito commented.

Way to make him feel good..

Kirumi smiled, setting down plates down in front of us all, "I have prepared rice balls and miso soup."

Kokichi's eyes sparkled, "Kirumi, be my mum!"

She frowned slightly but didn't respond.

Despite what happened yesterday, there was a cheerful air around everyone as they made light chatter.

Kokichi leaned closer to my ear and whispered, "Did you sleep at all?"

I shook my head.

"Yeah I didn't either..." He then smiled, "So what are we doing today?"

"We..?"

"Yep I've decided you're stuck with me now and I'm gonna force you to join my organisation!" He grinned.

I smiled, "And if I say no?"

"When did I give you a choice?"

I looked at him blankly for a few seconds before laughing, "I guess I will join then."

Kokichi smiled softly.

"By the way," Ryoma addressed everyone and all the idle chatter stopped, "that thing Gonta talked about earlier. Are we going to discuss it?"

"Quit fussin' over some lousy graffiti and worry about your shitty future instead!" Miu insulted.

"Graffiti?" Shuichi asked.

"Oh, Gonta found it this morning.." Gonra started, "On concrete, hidden in grass.. Words 'horse a' written there."

It was obviously another student who wrote it, who else could?

I glanced at everyone before my eyes met Kokichi's.

He averted his eyes.

I decided not to say anything and mouthed to him
'Tell me later.'

He grinned and nodded.

"Rise and shine, ursine."

I groaned as the monokubs appeared.

"Great.." I muttered under my breath.

The monokubs presented 'prizes' but honestly it just seemed like a bunch of junk.

It was entrusted to Shuichi and he managed to use them to unlock new areas.

"Tell me, why did you write the message in the courtyard?"

"Why you ask?" Kokichi laughed, "Well I have a plan to try and end the killing game, just trust me, okay?"

"And what if I don't trust you." I smiled.

"Oh but you do! Nishishi~" Kokichi booped my nose.

My hands quickly covered my nose as my face turned red, "Don't do that."

"Awwww..." he pouted.

I wasted the rest of the day messing around with Kokichi.

Angie was holding up what looked to be a really big flashlight.

"Oh that? It's a flashback light." Monokuma told us.

"Flashback light?" Kiyo asked.

Monokuma explained, "That flashlight doesn't shed light on darkness, but on lost memories."

"Should we really trust this?" I asked everyone.

"It'll be fun!" Kokichi grinned.

"What will? The thrill of knowing there is a possibility of dying?" I chuckled.

"That's why the killing game is so fun! Nishishi~"

"There might be weird side effects." Kirumi stated, ignoring our little conversation.

Angie grinned, "Okay!"

She flicked the flashback light on and everything went white.

I was running...running from the Ultimate Hunt.

They were chasing everyone with Ultimate talents.

So I erased my memory, and threw away my ultimate talent.

It seems like everyone had the same memory...how weird.

"Didn't Rantaro ask something about the Ultimate Hunt when we came here?" I asked.

Kokichi bit his thumb in frustration, "Damn! He would've known something about it."

Everyone fell silent...

We discussed what it could be, but no one came to any good conclusion.

In the end, the memories left us more confused.

Me and Kokichi were hanging out in the arcade when Shuichi approached us.

"Kokichi!!!" Kaito yelled.

I turned to him, "What did you do?"

He laughed but didn't answer, instead he grabbed my hand and dragged me off. Shuichi quickly followed behind us.

We eventually stopped running and relaxed in the courtyard.

"So why'd you decide to hang out with us?" I aske Shuichi curiously.

He opened his mouth to answer.

"Yeah Shuichi!" Kokichi grinned mischievously, "I am the Ultimate Supreme Leader afterall. You must be pretty reckless!"

"What is this organisation you run?" Shuichi asked.

"If I tell you then it won't be a secret organisation!~"

"Did you come to ask about my talent?" I beamed.

Shuichi nodded, "Yeah...something like that."

I pretended to think for a second, "Well since it's you Shuichi and everyone trusts you sooooo much! I guess I'll tell you. I'm the Ultimate Liar."

"Ultimate liar?" Shuichi seemed to be in thought.

Kokichi's eyes sparkled, "It's so cool, right? That's why N/n has to be in my organisation! I won't take no for an answer."

"I thought I already agreed." I sighed, "Anyway, yup that's me. The Ultimate Liar. It doesn't mean I'm just good at lying though. I'm also good at seeing through lies, reading people and finding the truth...things like that."

"That's pretty interesting." Shuichi smiled.

"Now that you know all this...you must die Shuichi!" Kokichi told him cheerfully.

I grabbed Kokichi's hand to stop him from doing anything mischievous, "I'll see you around Shuichi."

He smiled nervously, "...Right."

Me and Kokichi were in the courtyard and for some reason, Shuichi came to hang out again.

"Did you come to beg for your life?" Kokichi asked.

"Are you being serious?" Shuichi asked nervously.

"Would we ever lie to you?" I smiled.

"A-ah." Shuichi was awkward.

"Let's play a game!" Kokichi beamed.

I pulled out some cards, "Will these do? Shuichi vs. Kokichi! Who will win?"

"Me of course!" Kokichi yoinked the cards out of my hands and started playing with Shuichi.

It was a tie.

Shuichi walked away with his life.

"You did that on purpose didn't you?" I asked Kokichi once Shuichi had left.

"Yup!~ I'll continue to play with him for a little while longer. Nishishi~"
