Chapter 8
"It's going down
I'm yelling Timber,
You better move,
you better dance,
Let's make a night,
you won't remember,
I'll be the one,
You won't forget,"
I groaned, why was the music so loud.
"Oooh" I then frowned, I didn't put music, "Ooooh," I stirred and sat up to see a large number of teenage figures dancing to Timber. "Oooooooooh." A thumping beat started in my head. I didn't even have a hangover. I groaned again, more loudly. Josh heard it this time and came over to me, "You okay?" The thumping made his voice distorted and weird. I pressed a hand to my forehead just as he turned the music down and signalled to the figures to come round me. Two identical boys, Jason, a brown haired boy, two girls and Sophia crowded around me. I sighed, "What are you doing here."
One of the two girls gave out a nasally laugh, " We were going to go to a party but decided to chill out before we went."
Sophia didn't look very happy but she smiled at me nonetheless, "You're invited."
The other girl gave out a similar laugh as the boys agreed, ugh, two mean girls, "Sophia, it's only for the cheerleaders and the football team, not their hookers."
I scoffed, "I bet I could flip better then you any day jerk."
The smirks on the two girls faces were evident. They both flipped, performed a handspring and finished in a scale position in sync while all the boys whooped. Sophia stood their shaking her head. I was glad she wasn't as mean as those two. Josh had left the scene. That sneaky bastard. I'd get him back. Right now however, it was time to show those idiots who was boss. I had a running head start before doing a triple hand spring, a back flip and a toe touch jump before ending in a scorpion. Everyone had their mouths open in awe. Hell yeah! Since I danced and skated, cheer leading was never hard for me. Nothing dance related was hard for me. Sports were my speciality. I didn't intend on letting that go. Neither was I intent on letting the gossipers know about my panic attacks or even worse: my fat life. I needed a new start, it was a the whole reason I moved. It was then I decided I was going to the party. I was going to be a new person. With that, I left everyone staring me with their mouths open...

I wore a short white dress covered in lace. It was my best 'high school party' outfit that went with my diamond jewellery. My deep blue eyes looked endless as I stared at them in the mirror. My make up was smoky and bold as I slipped on my white glass heels. Hair hanging straight and free, I felt good. The note on my bed however told a completely different story:
The moment you feel like you have to prove your worth to someone is the moment you should walk away.

I ignored the churning in my stomach as I read his message. This was my time to shine. To show people I'm not weak. I was sick and tired of being teased. Sick and tired of being mocked. He couldn't possibly understand what I had gone through. I ignored the message pushing away the guilty feeling.
when I reached downstairs, the two sluts who had insulted me glared at me as ll the boys in the room gave me a once over. Josh stood in front of me, his overprotective brother mode turning on immediately.
Hell yeah beyotch! I can look as good as you any day!
