Roman smiled at his phone and placed it on the coffee table. He fumbled with his ring as he climbed the stairs leading to their daughter's room.

Maya kicked and screamed, red in the face and a foul smell reeked inside her room. Roman shushed her lightly as he grabbed wipes and a diaper.

"It's okay Maya, I'm right here." He softly smiled as she opened her tightly squeezed eyes. She whimpered and reached for him. Roman chuckled and picked the 11-month-old child up.

"I've got you, sweetheart." Roman changed her and soon they were on their way to Roman and Virgil's bedroom.

"Maya's all changed and ready to be dressed, huh Maya?" Roman bounced her lightly. She smiled a bit, her eyes still red. Virgil smiled at his family and stood.

"Alright, let's get dressed." Virgil kissed his daughter's cheek then his husband's. Roman smiled, set Maya down and pulled Virgil into a hug.

"Hey."
