Jack texted Mark before getting out of his car, grabbing his shopping bags before looking up. He noticed Mark's car sitting in the driveway, furrowing his eyebrows.
Mark was inside, sitting on the top of the stairs so Jack wouldn't see him. "Mark?" The younger called as he put his bags down before opening the door completely. He gasped, putting his hand over his mouth.
He looked around, trying to find Mark only to see more flowers and more balloons. "Mark, love?" He called again before he noticed the stuff on the kitchen counter.
He furrowed his eyebrows before he walked over to it. He smiled lightly at the letters sitting beside a jar. He glanced at the jar, picking it up to read it quickly. He smiled brightly before picking up the middle letter.
Sean William McLoughlin,
Hey gorgeous, you look amazing today. As always.
The first time I ever saw you, I knew you were the one I wanted to marry.
The one I wanted to spend my life with.
Although I plan on marrying you one day, it's a little too early for marriage.
Let's settle for something else, yeah?
I love being with you. There's no one else I would rather be with. You make me smile in a way I've never experienced. You can make me laugh like no one else. You're the first thing I want to see in the morning, and the last thing I want to see at night.
I have never experienced love like I have with you.
You're my other half.
My love.
My happy ever after.
You're everything I have ever hoped and wished for.
I love you, and only you.
So Sean, you'll see the black box in front of you.
Open it if you love me.
I love you, Jacka, and I promise to love you and care for you forever.
Love, Mark.
Mark heard Jack sniffle before he poked his head from around the stair corner. He glanced at Jack, who was opening the box. He heard him gasp before sliding the promise ring onto his ring finger. "It's a yes, then?"
Jack turned around, his tears rolling down his cheeks. "Of course it is." He whispered before he pulled Mark into a kiss, their lips molding together. They kissed for a minute before pulling away. Mark pecked Jack's lips one more time, seeing the other man smile.
"Do you like the ring?" Jack nodded, holding up his finger. "I tried to pick one you'd love." Jack smiled, admiring the ring with the gold and silver knots half tied into the middle of it. "The idea of it is that the knot isn't tied yet, but it has all the intentions to be one day."
Jack pulled on Mark's collar to bring him into another kiss briefly. "I love you so much, angel." Jack whispered and Mark smiled brightly.
"I love you too, gorgeous."
They held their embrace for a minute before Mark walked over to turn off the cameras laying hidden around the rooms. "I love you." Jack hummed again as he sat on the counter.
Mark smiled once again, kissing his lips lightly before pulling him towards him by his thighs. "I love you more." He whispered onto his lips before kissing his nose lightly.
