This story takes place 6 months after the last chapter of the first book.

Jack stared at the screen as he watched the video for the third time. "I have a girlfriend. Well, I've had a girlfriend for 4 months. Her name is Amy."

The beautiful blonde walked into frame, and Jack narrowed his eyes. He watched as they interacted.

Nothing like how he and Mark had. They didn't touch, or really get near each other at all. They didn't look each other in the eyes almost at all throughout the video.

Jack heard his phone vibrate, glancing down at the caller ID. He grabbed it, exiting the video before answering it.

"Hey, Sean." Felix spoke softly. "Just checking in."

"Uh- yeah. Hey."

"Why does your voice sound so strained?" Felix asked, closing a door as he walked out of his house. "Wait, have you been crying?" Felix opened his gate, not hearing an answer.

"Jack?" Felix froze as he saw Mark standing about 20 feet from him. "Sorry, what'd you say?" He asked.

"N-nothing." Sean spoke lightly, a hiccup escaping.

"I'm coming over. You really need a friend."

"No- Fe. Y-you really don't h-have to." Jack whimpered out. Mark's head snapped to the side when he heard the voice coming from the Bluetooth in Felix's car.

Felix smiled lightly at the boy over the phone. "I know, but you sound like you need it."

Jack ran a hand through his hair. "Really, I'm- I'm fine." He spoke quietly, letting the lie fall from his lips.

"When was the last time you showered, ate a proper meal, and saw a friend all in the same day?" Felix asked, waiting for a response.

Jack had to think for a second. "Um... When M-Mark and I were still together.." Jack sniffled, looking at the trend on twitter. "God, he l-looks so h-happy."

Mark closed his eyes as Jack hiccuped. "Fuck. S-Sorry." Jack mumbled as he let of a sob.

"I'll be over in 10, Jack." Jack hung up, letting out a sob as soon as the phone call was over.

"God damn it, Sean. Get a hold of yourself." He growled as he pulled on his green hair.

He hopped up quickly, hurrying to get in and out of the shower. "Jack? I'm here." Jack pulled on his joggers and a tee shirt on before he walked downstairs.

"Hi." He said quietly, digging his hands into his pockets. "How are you?" He asked Felix, who was taking in Jack's appearance.

"Eh, I'm okay. How are you?" Jack shrugged. Felix pulled him into a hug.

Dark bags hung under Jack's eyes, showing that he hadn't been able to sleep. His normally bright green hair was now a faded almost grey. He had thinned a lot, and his arms were even thinner than they were before. His smile was half assed, and fake. His eyes were dark with sadness, rarely a happy emotion in them.

He smiled very faintly as he wrapped his arms around Felix's waist. "I'm so sorry, Jack."

"Don't be." He whispered, biting his lips to keep from crying.
