Percy being a sweetheart and takes care of Merlin part 3
This week had been frustrating and most of the times Percy had to help him with everything. There were times where he almost wet himself because of them almost being too late. He had to learn and still has to learn about this age. He as well learned that Camelot was preserved and that his things were here. Everything from his books to clothes everything. He got as well explained that nothing had changed and he made sure that they could move in when he wanted to.
But he declined as he wasn't wanting to move. Arthur was clearly had not come back. The thought about everyone dying made him upset and Percy had been even more affectionate then usual. Percy really was the best and he cared a lot for him. At least he had him but having lost that many hundred of years would take a while to feel less upset about this.
Everything was different and it was astonishing and interesting to him. Whenever Percy was walking in, he was reading some books about either the past, about electricity and just everything that was interesting to him.
The first time something called Televesion (I know it's wrongly written but we are dealing with Merlin who doesn't know anything about our time, so he will mess up some of the things) or tv for short, had startled and upsetted him that badly that he almost broke the weird quadratic thing. It was just that he thought that they were locked in there,
Another thing was that he almost burned down the house but it was not his fault. Electricity was difficult and he also caused the entire house get dark. It was giving him anxiety and starting to freak out.
It took a lot for Percy to calm him down. Reassuring that he done nothing wrong as the thing that does the electricity is old and sometimes it stops working. He explained that he was on it and that soon they would get a new one.
Either way this week had been alright yet still Percy explained that they should go outside. Even though he was not wanting to, he didn't argue as he was still exhausted. Going outside was for sure confusing him and everything looked strange in his eyes. Another thing was that the language was differently and he had to re-learn this. That was one thing that they also worked on. It was a long process.
Merlin was tempted to figure out a spell that would translate any language but with him being most of the times sleeping, it was difficult. His body was exhausted more often and he still was relative silent. There was not often that he talked with Percy.
His moods were most of the times depressing. That was probably why Percy researched and started reading a lot of psychological books. At least this was what the other told him. The explanation was because of him.
It was why the other had even went to a school that was something called Uni. It made him feel fuzzy to know that the other would go this far to try and help him. It seemed that the other knew that he had depression, PTSD and anxiety.
At least that was explained from Percy and he must know after all the other was an expert about this. At least he knew now why he was feeling this way. After everything that had happened not surprising.
His mind trailed off once again why he let himself be dragged outside. Merlin would feel out of the space with how he had woken up in a new age. There was as well the thing that he was not in the mood, yet here he was being pushed on something called chair wheel, or wheelchair? Either way that was besides the point. Everything had changed and he was not liking this.
"Come on look at how pretty it is?"
He was pouting as not seeing the appeal. Rather would he stay inside and sulk in bed. But nooo Percy wanted to have him out here.
"Okay, I know that you might not see the appeal but you need sun and fresh air."
"No want to...go ba..back inside." He grumbled out and the other let out a sigh and he felt a hand ruffle through his hair.
"Just another 15 minutes and then we can go back inside, okay?" It was said softly and he could not deny this when he sounded so sad.
"Fine..."
This was it as the two continued their walk. The entire way he was sulking, with folded arms and shuddering at the thought of meeting anyone. He just wasn't wanting to talk and converse when he could not even understand the people. The language has changed too much.
"I swear you promised to go shopping with me, Arthur."
"Shut up Morg, I know but I would rather-" Two people bickered about something that he could not understand.
The only thing he could understand the name and that was it. They talked the same language that he was still learning.
The dress was a whine red, with flower adorned. It was pretty and it looked good on the familiar female. With some black ballerinas and her black hair bound in a pony tail. Her eyes held no maliciousness but surprise and there was as well concern seen. Yet the cautious was also noticed and he could feel her magic. Either way being close to her made him uncomfortable. The female that he knew had been after all the cause of the destruction and from what Percy told him the cause for the death of Gwaine.
Arthur on the other hand was wearing something that was as weird to see. As the male wore something short on his legs that were a light blue color. The shirt was a dark blue and the shoes were closed shoes that were black. It looked good on him but still seeing the person that looked alike to Arthur was giving him anxiety. It brought him back to the death of his big brother.
It had been after all just a week since he woke up again and he still couldn't help but feel the agony when thinking back on that day.
"Holy shit, is that really you Merlin and Percival?" The same surprise was heard yet there was as well joy yet as soon as the look alike of Arthur looked at him, there was concern.
"Why is she here with you? She killed Gwaine and was the cause of your death." Whatever was said from Percy was hostile towards for sure Morgana and he was not sure how to act around them. Arthur was clearly well Arthur but he would not be able to understand them and all in all he wanted to go home. He wasn't liking being close to the person that had been the fault for everything.
"Look I was not in control. I wasn't planning on doing this but Morgeus had used some spell and it ended up how you know it. I apologizes and I know it will change what I and Mordred had done but we genuine had not wanting this." Whatever was said was genuinely meant and he could hear the guilt and the pain from what was said. Yet he could not understand it and it made him upset.
"Pe-Percy ca-can we..." His voice cut through whatever would be said next and the look that was given by both made him shrink down.
"Of course, let me just give Arthur our number and then we can go home, is that okay for you Merlin?"
He wanted to argue that he wanted to go now but this would seem childish and so he nodded, folding his arms together and waiting impatiently for them to go. It was not that he was not happy to see Arthur, he was but it was too much for him. Meeting Arthur and Morgana brought things back out.
After the numbers were exchanged he was rolled away as staying silent. His throat felt closed and even when he wanted to say something he could not. Arthur clearly was feeling hurt by what he was doing but he could not change this right now.

The rest of the day was with him being in the room, curled into himself, hugging a plushy (a cute green apple with a adorable smile, a reminder of Gwaine) that was given by Percy. Not talking once and he was grateful that the other was not forcing him to talk.
At some point Percy decided to join and he was pulled to the side of Percy. Even now he was still not yet that strong and he appreciated the cuddling right now. Percy was amazing cuddle buddy. He was so gentle with him that it made him almost every time tear up.
The next day came a call that Percy took and he could tell that it was heated and made him wonder what his friend was talking about. The other was not often angry but right now he looked both mad but as well upset about whatever this was.
Soon the phone call ended and the other instantly pulled him into a hug and stayed silent. Whatever this call was about, had been bad. Soon the other was calm enough to explain and as he listened it made sense.
Everything was making sense as even when Morgana was mad about Uther, there would be no way that he would harm Arthur. After all, the King had always tried the best not to kill any sorcerer's but banned them. The only times were when they hurt someone and that showed that the other was for sure different.
Now that he knew he had to think a lot about it. Percy as well asked about Arthur meeting him and wasn't sure that he would be ready yet. So he decided that in a week he might be ready. That was that and they continued their cuddle session.

Meeting Arthur had been well awkward and emotional. The reason was that Arthur took a while -like the slow clotpole he is- to get back talking to the old language. Even as he managed, he was still reserved and quiet. Not to mention he was constantly sniffling and trying not to cry, which he obviously failed and ending up with Arthur picking him up and putting him next to the other as hugging him and whispering reassuring words. It was sweet and made him cry even harder. It took a while for him to calm down.
Even as he calmed down he stayed, as clutching onto Arthur in fear that the other would disappear. It ended up with Arthur staying the night and he knew that Gwaine should soon arrive as well. Because now that Arthur was back and Morgana too, why wouldn't his crush be back either?
