Jeon Jungkook rested his chin on the table in front of him as he looked with a vacant gaze at the comments in his V Live that were appearing - and just as quickly - disappearing. He saw ring emojis being used over and over again along with a string of proposals. He knew that he probably shouldn't have started a V Live when he was in a sour mood, but it was too late to go back now.

"The label claims that I'm being too reckless lately; that I'm not taking things seriously enough. I don't even know what kind of crap that is. I think I'm fine. Don't all of you?" asked Jungkook.

Jungkook smirked as he saw comments in agreement of how fine he was light up the chat like fireworks. He looked towards the glass of Soju that was only half finished in front of him. He sat back in his chair, picking the glass up and bringing it up to the light as if he was examining it.

"I mean - if they think what I've done already is impulsive - they haven't seen anything yet."

As Jungkook stared at the Soju, his manager's words played through his head.

'You really need to stop acting like you are a troublesome rookie. You have fans. You need to establish yourself. Maybe it's time you looked for a girlfriend. A potential wife even. It might ground you.'

Jungkook took a sip of the Soju before looking at the chat again. There it was again. The 'I love you's and proposals from thousands of fans he had never met. He put the cup down, leaning forward so he could look at the rapidly appearing and disappearing comments.

"MaribelLovesKookie, I see your proposal to me," said Jungkook. "I accept. I will marry you."

He saw the chat light up even more after that declaration. Some people were questioning if he was serious or not while others wanted to know if this was a secret girlfriend of his that he'd never talked about before. Soju made Jungkook's reckless mind serious enough to cause a late-night media firestorm as he emphasized again that he would marry the user named 'MaribelLovesKookie'. If only he knew then the events he had just set in motion.

Okay, so the backstory of this Christmas brainchild is - while watching Jin's birthday V Live the other night - I saw a lot of people asking members of BTS to marry them, but they misspelled it. Instead of writing 'marry me', they put 'merry me'. Hence this crazy idea was born!

As this is a Christmas story, I'll try my best to get most of it up during this month, but it may or may not be finished this month depending on where my mind takes me.

I ask that you're patient with me as I try to get all the updates posted. I'm currently working on trying to finish some of my books before the end of this year.

Cosmetic changes may happen to this book over the next few days as I try to get a better cover, etc.
