Everyone went inside to get dressed, Lui was jumping around like a small child. He quickly got dressed and waited for Nogla, who said he couldn't go to the pool with out him.

"hurry up Nogla!" Lui shouted into the bathroom.

" wait a minuet ye fucker." was the response. Lui chuckled as he walked over to the bed and sat down. the door opened and Lui ran to the bedroom door, he opened it and Nogla quickly followed. Lui normally acted hyper but not this hyper.

Lui ran to the back yard and didn't see anyone other than the mermaids. Lui stopped quickly as he felt a weird feeling over power him. The sound of humming was heard as Lui looked around for the noise. the singing came from the pool, Lui walked over to the edge of the pool and saw Marcel floating on his back.

Lui flicked the water at Marcel and he stopped humming. Marcel stopped floating and saw Lui at the edge of the pool.

"Nice singing." Lui said as Marcel's face blushed a bit. Lui smiled and the sound of Nogla's voice booming through the air was heard. Lui turned quickly and he lost his balance. Nogla turned the corner and saw Lui about to fall in. Lui fell and Marcel helped him back to the top, Lui smiled as he grabbed the edge of the pool.

" that was so fun!" Lui said in a happy tone. Nogla sat on the edge and Marcel glanced up at him. Nogla sent him a distrusting look. Before anything could happen, everyone else came out of the house.

Tyler came up from the water and looked at everyone for a second. everyone got into the water and started to swim around. Marcel and Tyler stuck to the sidelines, they watched everyone swim and saw their cool tricks in the pool.

at one point Evan decided to get in the pool, when he did Tyler and Marcel where there to help him. Evan got in and his orange tail came back. The tattoo glowed slightly and Evan went under water. He saw Marcel and Tyler swim up to him and they grabbed his hands.

"lets go to the bottom." Tyler directed as they started to swam to the bottom. Evan followed them and he looked around. The others were watching them swim to the bottom, Jon made sure that the two wouldn't hurt Evan.

" watch this." Marcel felt like the playful mood so he laid on his back on the bottom of the pool and made rings. The rings floated to the top and once they did they made a huge ripple.

" My turn." Tyler said as he twirled his finger and made a small tornado that eventually got a bit bigger. Evan was in awe as he watched the water do things he has never seen.

Marcel pointed up and Tyler nodded his head. they swam to the top and Evan followed. once they breached the top they where greeted with laughter and giggles. The three looked around and saw the others making a whirlpool.

Evan chuckled as he saw his friends get dragged by the current.

"hey watch this." Marcel said as he twirled his finger in the air and the water on their side went a little faster. the others laughed as they where completely being dragged.

Marcel stopped and the water went back to its normal speed that they made. Luke and Mini got out of the current and watched the others keep going. The three swam over to Luke and Mini.

" Hey." Mini said as he hugged Tyler, making him blush. Marcel and Luke noticed right off the bat. Evan wasn't paying attention to them, he had his eyes on someone else.

" Hey, having fun?" Tyler replied as he pushed Mini off him.

" Yeah we where, Luke wanted to pull me out to ask me something." Mini directed his attention to Luke.

" oh yeah. I was thinking we should have a backyard party. Just us, food, music and the pool." Luke said the others over heard and they agreed. Marcel looked up at the sky as the sun was starting to go down a bit.

Luke got out of the water and rolled out the grill. he messed with things and soon a fire was on the grill. Luke ran in and got some things to grill, including some fish. Evan got out of the water, with a struggle of course, and sat on the side.

" How do you guys lift up your tails to get up here?" Evan huffed as he took a deep breath in. Everyone else joined Evan while Tyler and Marcel swam over to him.

" Uh, we just get out. I guess we would be kinda use to it by now." Tyler said. he sounded more open and didn't seem so uptight. They went to the edge and jumped up, they sat down on the edge and swayed their tails in the water.

" So how old are you guys?" Brock asked out of no where. Marcel sent him a sceptical look.

" 23." Marcel said, Tyler agreed with that age.

" how long have you been a merman?" Evan jumped in on the questions.

" our whole life." Tyler said. everyone was shocked.

" wait, who are your parents?" Marcel looked in the water and swayed his tail around more. He felt sad, his change in emotion made the wind blow harder. Tyler placed a hand on Marcels back and he answered for him.

" Our parents were killed." Everyone felt bad for them. Marcel looked towards the tent that was next to him. He thought of something, he reached into the tent and brought out a bag. The bag had necklaces of potions, and they where colored.

" Here, my mom gave these to me. She said to give them to mermaids with the matching tails. You match this one so I guess it goes to you." Marcel opened the necklace and let a drop of the potion land on Evans tail. His tail turned into his legs and Evan was excited.

The necklace was handed off to Evan.

" That will protect you, and it will glow when there is another mermaid near you. The color will change depending on the mermaid's tail. It never runs out but you can only use three drops a day." The new info was helpful to Evan.

He placed the necklace on and it flashed orange.

" and Evan don't sing" Tyler slipped in. Evan was confused.

" why not? And how do you know this stuff Marcel?" " because it would lure anyone towards water and they will drown. once you kill someone by using your voice then you become evil." Tyler quickly summed up what Marcel said a day ago.

" I know this stuff because my mom had a very special gift and she told me about this day. She didn't say I had to trust you guys but I would have to give the necklaces to you." Marcel answered.

" look the first star!" Lui said out of nowhere as he looked up at the sky. Tyler and Marcel looked up and saw the star, they got in the tents. They closed the tents and the others where confused by their actions.

" Why are you in the tents? are you going to sleep?" Mini asked as they got a reply from Marcel.

" Uh, we can't be out in the moonlight. If we did then we would change." the answer just left more questions.

"Into what?" Lui asked as he walked over to the tent, he opened Marcel's tent a bit and his hand was grabbed. Lui pulled his hand away, his hand was slimy.

"Lui don't do it." Tyler said as he peeked from the other tent. Lui looked at his hand and the slime soaked into his skin. He looked towards the group and then the water.

" Would I turn into a merman?" Lui asked as he looked at the water.

" Yes you would, Lui if you got in, then you would turn into a night merman." Tyler informed. Lui got near the edge of the pool and looked over. The pool lights where on and they showed all the way to the bottom of the pool.

" what's a night marmaAN!" Lui yelled as he forgot he was on the edge and he turned around. Nogla ran to Lui and tried to grab him. Lui fell into the water and the pool showed a red color. The color got brighter and soon it started looking like blood.

" Shit." Marcel said as he opened his tent.

" No Marcel don't!" Tyler yelled as he tried to stop Marcel from going back in the water. Marcel swam to Lui and saw black like vines start to crawl around him. Lui wasn't moving, Marcel swam to Lui and tore the vines off Lui. He pushed Lui to the top and got him out of the water.

" Marcel get out of the water!" Tyler yelled as Marcel tried to get out. He screamed when his arms failed him and the feeling of ropes wrapping around his tail, pulled him under.

" Marcel!" Tyler yelled. Marcel tried to tear the vines off his tail but failed when more vines wrapped around his torso. Marcel tried to kick his tail and get to the top of the water but he was held down.

The vines wrapped around him more as he tried to swim. Now that Marcel was half covered in ropes. They started to drag him further down....
