A melodic song

     bubbles up from beneath

A serenade for a lover,

     though a song of deceit

He catches his breath

     but her beauty is a lie

He stretches out his arm...

     Don't! He will die

Her song,

     a beautiful sin

Melodic charm

     claims sanity from within

Angelic smiles

     draw him to the sea

She pulls him underwater

     the place he wants to be

Her charm,

     a lie, deceit, beware!

She drags him to the depths

     where he can't breathe air

Her tail,

     he questions not

The ship above

     now a distant dot

He has drowned in her beauty,

     a sinister face hidden beneath

He hears the song for a lover,

     the last melody of deceit...
