Merlin and I walked down the beaten road to hear laughter and a thunking noise. We turned to corner to see a blonde haired boy throwing knifes at someone moving a target. I personally thought that the knights were supposed to be looked up to, or thought that they were a great people to honor the king. Oh no was I wrong. Throwing knifes at someone is just plain wrong on so many levels. I watched Merlin as he walked over to the sheild that was slowly rolling away from the servant boy. Merlin put his foot on it and looked up at the knights.

" Okay guys that's enough." Merlin said.

"Excuse me?" The blonde said as he walked over to Merlin.

"You've had your fun my friend." 

"Do I know you?"

"I'm Merlin." Merlin said as he put out his hand.

"Then I don't know you."

"Yes."

"Then why did you call me friend?"

"That was my mistake."

"Yes I think so."

"Yeah I'd never have a friend that could be such an ass." 

"Tell me Merlin do you know how to walk on your knees?"

"No."

"Do you want me to teach you?"

"I wouldn't if I were you." Merlin scoffed as I slowly took a step towards Merlin.

"Why what are you going to do to me?"

"You have no idea."

Merlin please don't. I thought, as the blonde continued to annoy Merlin.

"Be my guest! Come on. Come on!! Come onnnnnnnnnnnn."

Merlin actually tried to punch him...Well kind of. He failed. You could tell that this blonde new what he was doing because he put Merlin's arm behind his back. 

"I'll have you thrown in jail for that."

No! I thought as I almost felt myself move. Almost. 

"What, who do you think you are? The King?"

"No, I'm his son. Arthur."

I watched as Arthur looked behind him and saw me.I shook my head as the he looked at me. Arthur smiled as he walked over to me and stared. I have him the dont-you-even-think-about-it stare and I glared at him.

"What's wrong love? Merlin here your friend?"

"Shut up."

I heard some oohs behind him as he just looked at me. I picked up the sheild and gave it back to the servant who went away, smiling. 

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me you're highness." I hissed under my breath.

As you can see I am not good in bad situations. Anything that's scary, I freak out. When I get mad, I go over the top and start yelling and letting every emotion out like I don't know the person. I can hide emotions, but very badly when it comes to hurting one of my friends.

"I'm sorry, I don't think you know who I am." Arthur hissed back grabbing my arm.

"I don't care who you are. It's what you become that counts." I say slapping his arm away, "I hope that knights of Camelot aren't always like this." I pointed to all of him then turned and walked away, leaving Arthur all by himself.

I walked into my new house and sigh. I slowly slink down the door, and I thump my head against the door. Giaus, hearing the door thump and looked over to see me on the floor.

"Maddy? How was your day? Wait......Where's Merlin?"

I explained the whole situation, and guessed that Merlin was in prision because of the royal pain. I sighed and saw Gaius put his arm out to help me up. I gladly take his hand and I got up. We exited to the royal court and Gaius talked to the king. The king went on about 'reponsiblilties' and 'be aware next time won't be so lucky.' Gaius nodded his head and thanked the king and bowed. I went a lot quicker to Merlin then Gaius did. I saw the cell and Merlin looking surprised and confused. I gently knocked on the metal as the guard was getting out the key for the cell.

"Merlin!" I say as the guard opened the door.

Merlin came up and I hugged him. I know I've only known him for one day but it seems like I've known him for years. I guess Merlin was suprised by this because he hugged me back weakly. I let go and do something I thought I would never do. I blushed. Gosh I'm such a girl. I thought as I looked down and cleared my throat.

"So...." Merlin said.

"I just wanted to let you know, that was an idiotic thing to do, but it was brave of you." I say slowly said as I continued to look at the ground.

"Yeah. That's probably what I am. An idiot."

"You're not Merlin." I say sincerly as Gaius came down.

Merlin hugged him and smiled. Gaius told Merlin that he had to pull a few strings for him to get out. I knew what he had to do. A day in the stocks. I shuddered to myself as I knew what people went through in the stocks. 

"Thanks Gaius! I won't forget it!" Merlin exclaimed excitedly.

I knew as soon as Merlin found out what he was doing then he was going to regret ever messing with Arthur. I don't though. If Arthur needed to be taught a lesson, then I was going to give it to him.
