Amara Rodriguez is the beautiful,kind,loyal and broken Princess, Amara went through something very traumatic before coming to camelot.

Amara has terrifying and very vivid nightmares/dreams/flashbacks of what happened, and the dream is so vivid its like she's actually living it all over again. One time she nearly jumped out of the balcony when Uther entered the room and walked towards her, but thankfully he quickly grabbed her before she could actually fall out of the window. The only person to calm her down and break her out of it, is Arthur.

Amara's bedroom is right next to Morgana's, they're rooms are actually connected by a big door, everyone thought it would be best if someone was near her and Morgana and Amara became instant best friends, but Amara doesn't always sleep there sometimes she hardly sleeps in her room or even Morgana's room, she ends up sleeping in Arthur's room when the nightmare get really bad and terrifying, when she sleeps in his bed with him, her nightmares seem to disappear, but no one knows that.

When Merlin comes to Camelot and meets the famous Princess, they become really close to each other like siblings.

Amara has the love and respect from the whole kingdom and is very close with Uther, the king treats and cares for her like a daughter, Morgana and Amara are like best friends/sisters,The guards/Knights love her just as much as anyone else and they will lay down their life for her if they had to,Gwen and Amara are best friends, Merlin and Amara become like siblings towards each other,Gaius and Amara are very close to each other, and become closer when Merlin comes to Camelot, and Arthur and Amara are closer then friends, but more then siblings, they both have strong feelings for the other and everyone in camelot knows it.

Everyone is very protective of the Princess, especially Arthur, the whole Kingdom admires and respects Amara and how strong she is emotionally.

Amara Rodriguez has a soft spot in everyone's hearts, she is the light in all that darkness, she is beauty and wonder itself.
