Amara's POV
Guinevere and I are walking through the lower town with our arms linked together and 5 guards walking behind us, which is super annoying. They've been following me around since yesterday its really starting to get on my nerves.

I see a young attractive man in the stocks getting pelted with fruit, once the kids leave to get more fruit and veggies, Gwen and I walk up to him.

"Hi, Im Amara." I say kindly

"And Im  Guinevere, but most people call me Gwen. I'm the Lady Morgana and Princess Amara's maid." Gwen says with a kind smile on her face looking at the man.

"Right. Im Merlin." He says, reaching his hand further out of the stocks to shake our hands.

"Although, most people just call me idiot." Merlin says.

"No, no, no. I saw what you did. It was so brave." Gwen says. 

"What happened?" I ask confused looking at both of them.

"Prince Arthur was bullying one of his servants and Merlin stood up to him." Gwen says, making me look at Merlin surprised.

"It was stupid." Merlin says.

"It wasn't stupid at all. Most people would've walked by and done nothing but you did. That makes you brave and a maybe a tiny bit stupid." I joke with him, making him smile at me.

"Well, I'm glad you walked away. You weren't going to beat him." Gwen says making me look at her with wide eyes.

"Oh, I- I can beat him." Merlin says insulted.

"I think what Gwen meant to say was that... you don't really look like you could really win a fight." I say.

"Thanks." He says, I widen my eyes realising I just offended him.

"No! No, We're sure you're stronger than you look. It's just, erm... Arthur's one of these real rough, tough, save the world kind of men, and... well..." Gwen says hesitantly.

"What?" He asks.

"You don't really look like that., no offence." I say before he motions us to move closer to him.

"Im in disguise." He whispers making us laugh at him.

"Well Im glad you stood up to Arthur. He can be quite arrogant and mean sometimes." I say.

"What? You think so?" Merlin asks.

"Arthur's a bully, and everyone thought you were a real hero." Gwen tells him.

"Oh yeah?" Merlin asks.

"Mmm hmm." Gwen says nodding.

"Oh, excuse me, Guinevere, Amara. My fans are waiting." Merlin tells us, making Gwen move out of the way.

"Don't loose your Kindness and compassion, Merlin." I say before walking away and meeting up with Gwen before leaving back to the castle to see Morgana.
