Amara's POV
I'm in my chambers getting dressed behind the curtain with Gwen's help before she walks into Morgana's room. I hear a knock at my door, I walk gracefully over to it and see Merlin standing there.

"Merlin." I say happy letting him in.

"Wait, your Princess Amara?" Merlin says looking shocked with wide eyes.

"Yes." I say with a small smile, before he suddenly bows making me giggle and pull him back up.

"Merlin, you don't need to be so formal with me." I say starring at him kindly.

"Why are you so surprised that I'm a princess?" I ask curiously motioning for him to sit.

"I don't know. Maybe because your extremely nice and I heard that the princess was really close to Arthur, so I thought the princess would act like him." Merlin says making me raised an eyebrow amused at his words.

"Sorry, Princess Amara, I didn't mean to insult you, you really nice and friendly." Merlin says quickly.

"It's ok, Merlin. Calm down, Im not going to have you hanged." I say with a slight chuckle.

"Your actually quite refreshing, and you amuse me." I say with a smile.

"Thanks." He says with a grin.

"Oh, here Gaius wanted me to give you this." Merlin says handing me a vial of liquid.

"Thank you, Merlin." I say taking it and placing it on my dresser.

"What is it for?" Merlin asks standing up as well.

"I have trouble sleeping. It's actually quite bad, the potion doesn't really work but it helps me get into a deep sleep, which now that I think about it, isn't really a good thing." I say just realising.

"Why not?" Merlin asks.

"Walk with me." I say leaving my chambers and walking down the hall with Merlin beside me and 3 guards behind us.

"You see Merlin, I have very vivid and lifelike nightmares, every time I fall asleep I have flashbacks of my past, and something really bad happened in my past." I tell him.

"I'm sorry." He says.

"Arthur, is the only one to really break me out of my nightmares." I tell him.

"Arthur? As in Prince Arthur?" Merlin asks confused.

"Yes, Prince Arthur. He has a different side to him which he only shows certain people." I tell him.

"So to everyone else he's just a jerk to." Merlin says bluntly, making me chuckle.

"I guess you can say that." I say walking through the lower town.

"I should head back, I need to get ready for the feast." I say with a smile.

"Your coming to the feast aren't you?" I ask.

"Oh, yeah. Totally." Merlin says.

"I'll see you there, then. Goodbye Merlin." I say giving him a kiss on the cheek before the guards escort me back to my chambers and see Morgana in a beautiful purple dress.

"Wow, Morgana that looks beautiful on you." I say entering.

"Thank you, Amara. What are you wearing tonight?" She asks me.

"I'm not sure." I say softly.

"Want some help?" Morgana asks.

"Sure." I say and we go through my closet.

"So I saw you weren't in your bed last night." Morgana announces.

"If your asking me if I slept with Arthur last night, then the answer is yes. And I also know you told him about me not sleeping." I say.

"Your welcome." She says making us chuckle.

"Wears Gwen?" I ask.

"Oh, she left to get ready." Morgana says.

"Here, this dress is perfect for you to wear." Morgana says bringing out a beautiful orange and pink ombré dress that flows out, with flowers at the bottoms.
