Arthur POV

We all stared in despair as arrows flew at Merlin. And it was all MY fault. I think Merlin has just given up. I looked away, i could't bare seeing the Arrows reaching their target. I waiting the moans of pains. But none came. Cautiously i turned my head and was shocked. Merlin's eyes were an amber and the arrows were hovering in mid-air. Merlin hasn't given up. There's still hope. Morgana screamed angrily as the arrows dropped to the floor. We all un-sheathed our swords. The battle had begun. "Get Gwen and Gaius to safety!" i orderdd.Merlin shouted angrily and the wood burst of him. Wood flying in the air. Merlin was back and angry.

Merlin POV

It's time to fight back. I shouted with rage and the stock frame flew of me. I stared at Ethan with pure hatred. I sent him backwards with so much force and anger.He crashed down onto the cobbles.Arthur strode up to him and plunged his sword into his heart. Ethan stared in disbelief and lay there still. Swarms of Morgana's men charged at the knights and Arthur but they fought back, parrying and slicing. Somehow their fight got swept away somewhere else and it was just Morgana and i staring at eachother - cold hard stares.

"Finally come out of your shell!?" taunted Morgana

"Just STOP this Morgana. Stop this all. Please." i begged. A smile twitched on Morgana's face. Her hand stuck out eyes turning orange. Startled at this sudden attack i flew backwards. Morgana strode towards me. I weakly lifted my hand and sent a fire ball lashing out, Morgana dived to safety, fireball burnishing the far wall. I stood up and we faced eachother again. A dagger flew towards my face but the invisible force sent it clattering to the ground. "You really are a thorn in my side Emrys." declared Morgana spitefully. I sent another fireball towards morgana but she simply poured water over it Yet again i flung back, landing awkwardly on my arm. I cried out, every movement was agony sending pain from my neck that radiated to my finger tips. "Not so mighty." cackled Morgana, nothing was left of the old caring Morgana. She was truly gone. "I blame you for what you've become." i whispered weakly. I clutched my arm trying to prevent any sudden movements. Morgana stepped closer and closer until she was at least a metre away from me. With an evil glint in her eye, hands twitching at her sides, her eyes glowed gold, she began to close her hands. She was suffocating me slowly, like she was enjoying the life ebb out of me. The breath was being sucked out of my lungs at an alarming rate.

I had been close to death already today i don't want to make a habit out of it! With my remaining strength i called the Great Dragon "Draca eo mala, sece findan metan, teos u hus anbid! Ærne" I shouted at the top of my voice, but came across as a powerful whisper. Just as my eyes began to shut in defeat, a dark shadow covered the courtyard. Kilgharrah landed, the sound echoing through the courtyard. Citizens screamed at the sight of the Dragon that stood angrily in Camelot. Mercilessly Kilgharrah struck Morgana aside with one of his almighty claws. Morgana landed across the courtyard in a heap. Kilgharrahs nostrils flared, smoke wafting into the sky. As fire erupted from his mouth. Realising that she was about to be burnt to a crisp. Morgana muttered a transportation spell and disappeared into the sky. With that injury she wouldn't have gone too far. The Darkling Woods at least. When will the world be rid of her? I whispered a quiet thank you to Kilgharrah and shut my eyes finally knowing it was safe to sleep. I remained awake to feel myself being gently lifted from the ground and taken inside to gaius. I fell unconcious smiling...

Hello :) 2nd to last chapter!! Hope you liked it! There will be a final chapter after this then a prologue for the sequel wooo :) *secret face* there might be a sequel after the next book if people like it.

I promised i would update this week and i kept to my word! I can't believe this book has had 1.4K reads! I didn't expect it to do so well and i'm very happy to have amazing fans!
